Only thing I can rate them on is promptness and that is Zero.

So very disappointed in River Lawn. The gentleman was very prompt in coming out, very knowledgeable. A very kind person. Then received phone saying work would have to be delayed as his foreman left. That was fine, I understood. Months passed no word, sent message to see if he was still going to do project, he said he was, still working on my design. I did not understand that as our yard is very small compared to newer yards. Well over a year and have yet heard from him. All he had to do was let me know he could not do it, something. We wish him and his company well but hopes he treats others better.

They designed and installed landscaping in our front yard. Excellent job.

Jason & his crew is dependable.& reasonable..would reccomend him for all your lawn care needs! A+ work!

There was an issue at first, but it was resolved to my complete satisfaction.

When the crew pulled up the broken slab walkway to replace with pavers, they discovered a huge concrete block (4 feet deep by 20 ft long!) that had to be removed and backfilled properly, which the original builder did not do. They did not even flinch; they got right in there and chipped away for three dull days until it was gone. We commend them for not running away!!

All employees are polite, friendly and accommodating. A former HOA member stated that the grounds never looked better after Red River started caring for the property.

Absolutely fantastic work. Could not be more pleased with both the quality and efficiency of work. Jason and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would. Our entire patio and landscaping was completed in 3 days. Crew was extremely professional and efficient. Red River Lawn and Landscaping will be handling all of our future projects!

Jason and his crew are amazing. I have used them for several projects both big and small at my business along with using them for lawn care and snow removal. Jason really listens to what I want and is always thoughtful of my business. His work is fantastic. You can't go wrong with Red River Landscaping. They stand by their work. I suggest you call them for all your landscape needs.

Overall, very poor experience--perhaps the worst we have ever had with a private contractor of any sort. Contracted in early March to redo large beds around the house and do driveway maintenance; was promised work by mid-April; they finally arrived early August (when it was too hot to plant); they finally completed work end of November. Pricey but quick initial response (to get the business) and prior good reviews gave me confidence, so I went with them. We kept getting put off; I had to constantly chase owner down to get any status regarding my project (a nearly $10K job, so it wasn't a minor project). Once they arrived in August (nearly four months after promised time), we provided a written itemized list to ensure the proper work was done with my existing plants (since it had been already over five months since contract was established), which was completely ignored and several mature plants planned to be retained were destroyed and a part of my yard was mistakenly torn out. (One particularly expensive plant was promised to be replaced but in November it "wasn't available" so we got a cheaper and smaller plant). Regarding driveway work, the owner claimed his truck was out of commission for a long period while I waited August through September (hard to believe--how does a company stay in business? Rent something!). Ultimately we found something else to do this part of the work--and they came two days after contact. On two occasions the owner promised to come on a certain day, and I arranged my work schedule to be available, and then he didn't come (his crew was working elsewhere). He always seemed to have something more important to do, e.g., bigger projects to chase, more accounts to garner. During their final work, his staff (who otherwise were courteous and appeared to be hard working) drove through our front yard with truck and trailer and made ruts/got stuck multiple times across the front yard (which they made some effort to repair but the owner made no mention nor apology). I cannot recommend this contractor--ridiculously slow, expensive, and unreliable.

Jason is very professional and kind and has re-worked the proposal several times to fit within my budget.

Good work, but didn't do all we asked them to do.
