+ 1 moreEthan was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was professional and I felt comfortable taking his advice. Due to weather, the deck painting took much longer than expected. Ethan was in regular contact with us about when an opening in the weather might allow him to do it and only charged us for materials when the delay went much longer than anticipated. He was very fair, does great work, and I would recommend him in a heartbeat! I also appreciated that he was willing to communicate via email and text as this was much more convenient for us than multiple phone calls would have been. He is a great find!

Description of Work: They did a lot of handyman work. They replaced a bathroom shower unit, they did drywall patch work, and they replaced some light fixtures. They took out the old shower unit and they installed a one piece unit.

He built a small landscape retaining wall in my back yard, redirected runoff water to the corner of my yard (installed underground pipe), installed a motion light and repaired my privacy fence gate. He did a few minor things inside my home If you need any type of contractor work, home improvement, etc. Use Ethan!!!! His price was very reasonable and the work he did was A+ quality. I will definitely use Price Home Repair again! He is extremely busy and his calendar fills up quickly, so if you need anything, I would recommend you contact him ahead of time. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!!!

I talked to Ethan Price who came out promptly and analyzed the problem and offered possible solutions. The fix wasn't a sure thing but Ethan was willing to give it a try. Ethan is a busy man and you may have to wait awhile for his services, but in my situation the wait was worth it. Ethan is a young, very personable guy, that exudes confidence in his ability and knows how to communicate. When Ethan and his assistant arrived to do the job, they were on time and had the necessary supplies. His initial idea worked extremely well and the deck was leveled and solid in three hours. I couldn't have been more pleased with the result and the cost. It was very satisfying knowing I had found someone who would take on a small repair job and handle it this professionally. I highly recommend Price Home Repair and would call them again if I needed their services.
Description of Work: My townhouse deck had become uneven due to lack of support on the overhanging portion. I wanted an inexpensive fix. Price Home Repair did it professionally and well within my budget.

+ -1 moreI had just moved into a new home and, having had no contact from the handyman I had spoken to a week earlier, I left a voice message with Price Home Repair on Saturday, hoping I'd get a call back on Monday. To my surprise, Ethan Price called me an hour or so later and, hearing my plight (I needed some furniture moved around so that I could continue unpacking), he not only agreed to squeeze me into his busy schedule as soon as possible, but actually performed the work over a holiday weekend. He relocated two very heavy bookcases, checked out my clothes dryer prior to hooking it up (we mutually determined it was a goner!), and did several other moving-in type chores. His work is meticulous, his rates are reasonable, and he is a real pleasure to deal with. I had a wonderful handyman named Fred when I lived in Pennsylvania. Ethan will definitely be my new "Fred."

Description of Work: We've been using Ethan Price for around 5 years for the majority of our home repair and improvement needs. During that time Ethan has done a variety of projects from building a beautiful privacy fence and deck cover to renovating and tiling our bathroom to trouble shooting plumbing to installing a front door. His prices are fair and he is alway honest with quotes. He is dependable and never fails to show up on time and work to complete any deadlines he agrees to. We always trust his judgement and have never been disappointed in his quality of work. If for any reason there is a problem with the job, Ethan will always work to resolve it. His excellent service makes him in high demand so get on his schedule early.

The owner Ethan Price was willing to help me through the crunch and came the next day to do an estimate. So, for the past two days, I have had the pleasure of watching the folks from Price Home Repair tackle my jobs in a very professional manner. I am more than pleased with their work. Everything they did for me was expertly done in the expected time. They were very careful with my furniture and rugs, and as an added plus they were quite neat and tidy and cleaned up every bit of their work mess. All this for a very reasonable fee. I?m sure I will call on Ethan Price the next time I need a handyman.
Description of Work: I have my house on the market, and I needed someone to take care of a lot of small repairs and jobs. The work I needed done included repairs to some outside door frames; painting of all exterior doors; painting the foyer ceiling; sanding and painting a deep, wide windowsill; rebuilding a fence line that had collapsed; and five or six other small jobs that I could not do myself.

+ -1 moreHe did a great job. He pays very close attention to detail. He is thorough and very neat. He cleans up after himself. He guarantees his work; if you are unhappy he would come back. I have never had to do that, but I believe that he would. He gives good quotes, I have never been surprised. I think he does a very fine job. He can do a lot of different things. He previously has repaired my staircase and done concrete work. His projects have been considerably varied.
Description of Work: He replaced a storm door, reset bricks that were lose on the side of the house, and installed drainage piping outside the home. He has done other things for me previously. It was $70.00 for the storm door and some brick work.

+ -1 moreI give Ethan Price my highest recommendation. When a friend recommended Ethan to me she told me that I would have to wait for Ethan because he's so good that he has a waiting list. She also told me that it would be worth the wait. She was right. Ethan is worth the wait. After working with Ethan, I have no desire to work with anyone else. He's top notch in every category. He's masterful in his craft, trustworthy, respectful and 100% committed to pleasing his clients.
Description of Work: Ethan Price is an incredible man and a masterful craftsman. He repaired our deck then rebuilt a two-story highly decorative deck/porch that had severe water damage. This was not a simple job. It was a very complicated project. Ethan also worked with us to make sure the roofing company installed a water tight rubber membrane roof above the porch. We hired the roofing company because of the specialized nature of the rubber membrane roof and the intricate porch/deck design. When the roofing company signed off on their part of the project, Ethan took it upon himself to water test the new roof. He found many leaks due to poor worksmanship on the part of the roofing company. In all, the roofing company had to come back three times to get the roof watertight. If it hadn't been for Ethan's above and beyond efforts, we would not have realized the roofing company had done a poor installation and we would have wasted our money and time in rebuilding the deck/porch. When Ethan finished rebuilding our deck/porch, we had him install slate on our front porch. He did a masterful job which included creating a custom designed tile pattern that he had to create and install from scratch. During the 3+ months that Ethan worked with us, he was always respectful, on time and a joy to work with even when things weren't going smoothly.
