The cost was below that of the other services that I contacted. They picked up frame at the scheduled time, delivered it and called me to confirm that it was delivered.
Description of Work: I needed a local courier service to deliver a large frame and poster.

Personnel were very professional. Furniture (which had mirror panels on the side) was "blanket wrapped" and was transported on an "air ride" truck. Dresser was delivered to second floor of home in FL. Arrived in perfect condition. Price was competitive.

I had an (I guess) unusual need, to move several large pieces of furniture from Cincinnati to a new apartment in Pittsburgh (such as a bed, large 36-inch cathode-ray tube TV, large armoire), but I did not need a whole big move (where usually everything is taken out of one house and put into another). I initially called a couple of moving companies (like Mayflower, Allied), and they said they could not do small jobs like that across state lines. I also called Two Men and a Truck, which did say they could do it, in the space of 2 days, for $2000. However, one of the moving companies did tell me to try PakMail, which I never heard of before. I found out they're like FedEx or UPS, except they will send absolutely anything of any size to anywhere. I called them, and their quote was like $850 ($1000 with appropriate insurance), so I decided to try them. The guys at PakMail said it would take like 2 weeks, which was OK for me. Two guys came with a trailer hitched to their car, and picked up my stuff. They're not professional movers, but they did a good job (they did break a large bookcase when they tried to lift it, but they fixed it good before they delivered it back to me). They said at that time, that my stuff would have an estimated delivery on a certain day, and that they would call later to tell me exactly when. Over then next several days I tried calling them--it was hard to get a hold of them, and they never did tell me what day my stuff was really supposed to come. Then, on the day they had originally estimated, a call came from the blue by two other guys I never met, saying they were in Pittsburgh and ready to deliver my stuff now. I would have liked more of a heads-up, but luckily I was free, and they came and delivered everything. Overall, everything was delivered well, and I didn't see any significant damage. I will use them again if the situation arises.
