We had recently discovered a leak in our bathroom which has resulted in damaged floor and tile. Mr Chase Brown had came highly recommended from some friends that he had performed work for recently. We contacted Mr. Brown who came out promptly to evaluate and give an estimate. He was able to provide really good recommendations and provided a good estimate. He then stated that it would be a few weeks until he could fit us in. (No Problem) However the week prior to him being scheduled to come out we attempted several times to get in touch with him to lock in the dates and times, and finally after a few days he responded. He stated that he had a higher priority customer that needed some work done and that he was sorry he needed to postpone us a few more weeks. Considering that we really liked his suggestions from his visit, and that he had such good recommendations from our friends, we decided that it would be okay and he gave us another approximate start date. (Still not much of a problem) However that date came and left. We have left multiple messages on his voicemail and even went as far as finding him on facebook and left him private messages there. (All messages were professional and were usually 3-4 days apart). Still no response. We do not know the reason why he has not contacted us back and this has resulted in our remodeling being delayed almost 6 weeks. In addition we have one bathroom shut down due to a leaky toilet which we cannot use and the shower in the other is leaking into our sub-floor which is causing more and more damage. This delay has hurt us and still no work has been done. He came with high recommendations and I have seen some of his work. He is good at what he does. I would suggest that if you are trying to get him to do work with you that you lock in solid dates and make sure he is going to actually do the work before wasting too much time waiting on him. - Price NA - Quality NA - Responsiveness - well, he doesnt respond - F - Punctually - he was a no call / no show - F - Professionalism - he was very professional and easy to talk to during his visit, however a professional would at least call to cancel or let you know what the plans are. - C (Im being nice)
Description of Work: My wife and I contacted him to give us a quote on replacing two bathroom floors and installing an open shower. He showed up as planned on time for quote, gave excellent recommendations and presented himself as very knowledgeable in his expertise. After his quote he postponed the work to be done two times. Since then we have been unable to make contact with him despite multiple voice mails and private messages on Facebook (all professional of course).
