Garage Door Guys

Had an issue with our garage door cable that wouldn’t allow it to fully close. A quick call to Brian and he said “I have appointments after lunch but can you be there in 15 minutes?” So he headed over and make the repair in about 30 minutes at a very fair price. Great customer service! We will be a customer and refer his company when possible!

Bryan actually did work for us twice. In 2020, he replaced a garage door opener (almost 30-year old Craftsman) with a new LiftMaster belt drive opener. Last July, he replaced two garage doors, installed torsion springs on our 'main' door, moved the opened he installed in 2020 to our secondary door and installed a jackshaft opener on the torsion bar. We had several estimates and Bryan beat all the others. From prior experience we went with him and were not disappointed with the work he did. Great job Bryan!!!

We have used the garage door guys several times now. They are very responsive and come out quickly. Also very knowledgeable and great customer service.

Our door stuck and was backed into by our car, damaging the door and trapping the car in the garage. Bryan fit us in between other calls in the area the day we called, and was able to get the car out and the door down. He gave us options to repair or replace the door, and was able to perform the service within a few days. We got his name from Angies List, and were very pleased with our contact with him.

Good, couple of hiccups but they always came through. Josh is outstanding!

Had garage door opener 'emergency' since it wouldn't go up or down. Technician was able to get me on the schedule the same day to fix it before the weekend. It might've simply been a weird glitch but it's worked since without incident. He also did a tune-up of all units while here. I'd used them before but will use again.

I was easily able to make a convenient appointment to address some unusual noises our garage door was making.  Bryan was able to quickly remedy the issue and also did a much needed tune up on our garage door.  Our door clearly has some issues from its initial installation when the home was built, and I appreciated Bryan's observations and recommendations related to those.  I will definitely contact Garage Door Guys whenever we have garage door related issues in the future!

Called them at 8:30 in the morning. Scheduled an appointment for the same day between 2:00pm and 3:00pm. Received a phone call at 9:30 am saying that they were ahead of schedule and that they were available to come out now. 10 min later they were fixing my door. The technician was very courteous and upfront about the costs and performed the repair quickly. We will use them again if we have any other problems with our garage doors.

I thought they were very good and they were very accommodating. I would definitely call them again. I appreciated him not being pushy about selling a new door to me. He was honest in letting me know the door wouldn't last a lot longer, but was able to work in my budget.

We received 3 bids for the project, they were not only the cheapest they were installing reliable Liftmaster battery back-up belt drive openers. The install was done within days of accepting the bid and they worked with us to fit the safety sensors on a very old garage. We are very happy with the new openers and the service we received.

I called at about 11:00 and left a message and received a return call within a few minutes. The Garage Door Guy was apparently ahead of schedule so he met me at my house within the hour. My door springs broke and the wooden piece that holds the garage door opener's lift arm was ripped out of the wall, which caused some screws in my old wooden door's hinges to fall out or break. The Garage Door Guy got to my house quickly and went right to work with no hesitation. He replaced all my old plastic hardware with new metal parts. The whole thing took about an hour and a half. The service guy was very friendly and professional and did not try to sell me things I didn't need or want. I heard about The Garage Door Guys from a ValPak coupon I got in the mail, and then checked them out on Angie's List. Even with the coupon the price was a bit more than I first expected, but it seems fair after seeing how much he replaced and how long he was there. I recommend!

The tech arrived on time and promptly started the repairs. App. two hours later I went outside to see how things were going. There is a sheet metal painted trim around the outside of the garage door and the tech had removed a portion of the sheet metal to install the new door. I was very surprised to see all the damage to the metal trim and when I questioned the tech (Chris) he said he needed to remove to replace the door and and would reinstall the metal trim. I ask him about the damage to the trim, painting, etc and he said well the trim was damaged on the left bottom side anyway before he started. I agreed but stated the trim was not bent all the way around, paint knocked off the the metal trim and the damage portion was freshly paint and was not easily noticeable until he did his repairs. I ask for the owners number and Chris got very defensive. He did calm down and upon completion of the job offered me a $100 discount on the bill and gave me a extra garage door opener.
My issue is when they did the inital bid, the removal/damage of the trim should have been discussed and options identified. Also, the tech getting agitated shows a lack of professionalism. I received two bids to repair the trim.....to install new trim would be $975 and to replace with vinyl trim is $475.
