Patrick's Painting

We selected Patrick after getting his and another proposal from another very reputable outfit. Both were within a few hundred dollars of each other for very comparable specifications. Ultimately, Patrick won because, frankly, he was more responsive to my wife's questions than the other bidder. Patrick took his time explaining everything, had a very professional approach to selling his services, and we felt really confident in selecting him. He also dropped by a house in our neighborhood to ask for their paint colors because we wanted to match that house. Saved us the trouble of having to do the same. The job itself was done remarkably well. We have a 20 year old, 6000 sq foot, two-story home with a walk-out basement, which means it is really 3 stories in many places. It has got a stucco and stone facade with wood trim. On the other 3 sides, we have LP Smartside, which is basically a coated OSB product. Smartside holds up well to water UNLESS there are any imperfections, nail holes, etc. that let water in (true of any wood based product). We had some rot, but mostly on trim pieces. We had a soffit and an upper-floor sill plate (about a 4 foot section below a window seat) that had to be replaced. They power washed everything, caulked ALL OVER (our house looked like it had chicken pox because they caulked all the nail heads and any other imperfections). Then they sprayed and (I think) backrolled. Patrick recommended Sherwin WIlliams Duration, which is what we used. It looks SO much better than what I have seen before, frankly. It leaves a really nice color and texture on the home. A little more expensive, but I think it will be worth it. Frankly, you spend so much having the job done, do not skimp on the quality of paint! It is a big house and the job started on a Monday and they finished painting most everything Thursday evening. They worked long days to get the job done, largely because we all expected rain. On Friday, they did some touch up, clean up, etc. and were done by the early afternoon. So 4.5 days, basically. They cleaned up very well and we have not notice any overspray or paint spills. Juan was the crew leader and he was great. He spoke English very well and was easy to work with when needed. We had a couple of times where we needed to clarify where we wanted different colors to go, and whether or not we wanted them to replace certain boards (we always did). Patrick crew replaced a few boards, including the sill plate, that were not included in his proposal with a minimal extra charge. It was well worth it. Patrick also responded very quickly to texts and phone calls. There were not many, but we had to talk a few times regarding where they were applying the trim color vs. body vs. accent, stuff like that. I highly recommend looking at the job each evening when the crew is done in case there has been a miscommunication. Our only complaint is that the crew often leaned their ladders against our window panes. And they would climb up with them this way. None of our windows broke, but it just did not feel right. We told Patrick and he was surprised and said they should not do that, and he was going to talk to Juan about it.

Patrick is a true professional and takes pride in his work. Ours was a very large project for him, including using products he wasn't familiar with. The scope of the project included stucco & wood rot repair, caulking everything, painting the exterior of the house, the pergola & lime washing the mfg. rock. Every detail was addressed. He left no stones unturned! His crew of Lisandro, Dennis, Victor & Jennifer were incredibly professional & very hard workers. We enjoyed having them here. We will have Patrick's Painting for all future paint jobs, interior & exterior. We have owned many homes over the past 42 years and this was by far the best and easiest company we've ever had. I can't say enough good things!

I hired Patrickâ s Painting to paint the exterior of our house. Patrick is the best business owner Iâ ve ever hired for any job for any house Iâ ve owned in 25 years. He set up an appointment to meet right away after I left him a message to call. He and his assistant came to discuss the project at hand, the exterior, and also went through the house for our next project on the interior for later this year. On review of the exterior, all wood rot replacement was discussed, all my concerns about the poor previous prep done for our last exterior painting job from a previous painter were discussed. The price was very close to what we paid the last time we had the house painted and it wasnâ t done well before. Patrick was an excellent communicator, emailing every day to update me on the progress of the paint job. I was out of town for the whole process due to timing of my work, but all updates assured me things were in good hands. His crew was amazing and took great care to do the job right and well. Last summer I walked by a home several times in my neighborhood that Patrick was painting. I noticed the care his crew was taking in protecting plants, the quality of the painting, and then talked to the homeowner who raved about Patrickâ s attention to detail and accessibility. I immediately wanted to talk to him about painting my house, which also would need a significant amount of prep work (wood rot and removing the horrid Masonite siding). In any event, This project was completed today. And, I am very pleased with the end result. My house looks better than it did when it was brand new in 1992! Patrick stopped by each and every day to see how things were going. He went above and beyond to insure every detail or need was resolved. His crew was hard working and respectful. Because I needed so much done to resolve the exterior issues, the project took a bit longer. I was glad there was no rush and that care was taken to insure the project met my expectations. Patrick has an abundance of patience, communicates well, offers choices, and understands the importance of first and last impressions. Talk to him â you have nothing to lose and so much to gain!

Patrick was awesome and so was his team. Got the job done in Only 3 days, excluding the days of rain, Took their time and did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of the day and setting up in the morning. I have never seen so much Calking in my life, these guys caulk everything!!! Communicated well during the process and did not have one problem during the project. Plus the finish product looks Incredible. I have a NEW house!!! I would recommend Patrick to anyone that is looking to Paint their house and I have!!!! Not bad from an OU sooner!!!!!!! 5 stars!!!!!!

Patrick is one of the rare trade individuals who does and excellent job of communicating. From his initial quote to the final walk through he listened and stayed true to his word on delivering a professional outcome. With that said his crew was hard working, professional and got the job on time. This applies to both the exterior and interior painting that we had done. Of course there was a bit more dry rot than expected, this too was handled in a timely and professional manner. I am very pleased with my finished product and would strongly recommend Patrick's Painting for peace of mind in knowing that you are getting a professional job at a very fair price.

Hire Patrick's Painting! We had significant wood rot that he fixed in addition to painting our house. His team did great work, he always kept us informed about the job, and was quick to respond. When there was a problem with the supply of our replacement siding, he called everywhere and ended up driving all the way to Springfield to pick up the only available supply. Patrick and his team did a fabulous job! The quality of their work is exceptional and I love how how my house looks now. Patrick is an excellent communicator and kept me up to date on their progress and the timing of the project. Additionally his crew kept the yard area very clean and put everything that had to be moved back in place after the work was complete.

We've owned three homes, but somehow never had one painted before. I was a little nervous to get bids and deal with painters, but I found Patrick's Painting online and read all the great reviews, so I asked for an estimate and he responded quickly. He came out and gave me my bid and we signed with him shortly after. This was in the winter, so we just needed to wait for the weather to improve. You know how sometimes someone being easy to work with is just as important as quality or price? We've all had a service provider who was cheap or good but was a real pain in the butt, right? Patrick is the trifecta of awesome in this regard. I can't emphasize enough the high-quality work Patrick and his team did, and the price was really reasonable. But the main compliment I have to give him is that he is SO EASY to work with. On time. Communicative. Friendly. Respectful and kind to his crew. Patient when my kids kept running in and out of the house while he tried to take "after" photos. :-) If you need your house painted, don't waste a single minute getting Patrick out to give you a quote.
