Chad came out the same day I called even though it was not an emergency. He was very personable and efficient. Beforehand, he described the procedure perfectly and gave me the estimate. He finished the job quickly. I will always recommend Andy's Pipe Dream. Love the name and logo.

They responded quickly especially since it was the week of Thanksgiving. The service technician was very courteous and helped us get this completed before the holiday.

The job was done very timely and professionally! Chad explained everything in detail, provided us an itemized bill of all the work in advance and completed the job per his commitment. We were very impressed with the quality and neatness of his work.

I called on Monday about a leaking toilet. I quickly received a return call from Andy. They could have come that afternoon but I wasn't available and made an appointment for the next day. Chad called to keep me informed about the timing of his arrival. He assessed the leak and gave me options on how to fix it and quickly replaced the parts. Chad was professional, friendly and informative.

It went incredible. Intergrity is the first word that comes to mind. He showed up on time, Chad is terrific. He's very thorough, neat and courteous. We have been using them for years and I would absolutely recommend them to other people.

Replaced main water service shutoff valve and added extra ball valve to quickly shut off water. Also reworked a PVC pipe that was blocking humidifier access. Adjusted lavatory pop-up so water would drain better. Chad was prompt, friendly, explained work to be done and did work quickly and efficiently.

Called first thing in the morning have someone come out. Water was not coming out of any faucets. They gave me the time frame of 9-11 that morning. I was quiet pleased, since I thought it could take days for someone to show up. This was during the last cold snap when pipes were freezing, and bursting, left and right. I get a call about 8:40 that same morning saying they are on the way. Left work and met them. Gave me the pricing if the pipes were frozen, but couldn't give me pricing if they had burst, since he wouldn't know until they saw the damage. Crossed my fingers, and off he went into my frozen tundra of a crawl space. Came back a few minutes later with the good news! No burst pipes, just frozen. Took him about 30 minutes to unfreeze them. He did come in and out a few times in the process to turn on faucets. Easy peasy thank goodness. I was overall very pleased with the service. Would definitely recommend them to others. My only gripe is the fact that my floors were filthy after he left. They need to use the blue booties that most companies use when coming into your house. Takes just a couple of seconds to slip on over their shoes. Would have saved me from cleaning my kitchen floors, family room hardwoods, hallway hardwoods, & bathroom floors.

He was very quick and professional. Our original plan was only the faucet. However, it was clear that the disposal was completely worn out, and he suggested alternatives, including the one they sold. We chose another from Lowe's which was less expensive, and still a very good disposal.| This was our second experience with this plumber.

Great job - very proficient and efficient. He was pleasant and professional and had us back to functional in no time flat. Very impressed and will continue to use this company and to recommend to others!

I called Thursday and received a follow up later the same day to set up an appointment, chad came out on Friday. He called to let me know he had finished his first appt. and to confirm I was home. He was professional and very helpful.

They were quick to get back to me to schedule the work, and were able to work around my schedule and still find a time to perform the work within a few days. My impression was that they would have made it work if I had needed them sooner, but I told them that there was no rush. Chad arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He starts by looking at the work to be done and quickly writing up a short quote on the various jobs. Once I decided what I wanted done, he got to work. He worked quickly - I was surprised at how quickly everything was completed. In my opinion, Chad displays the perfect mix of friendliness and professionalism... very friendly and pleasant without losing sight of the job to be done. Here is the best part - he seems to truly want what is best for the customer rather than to simply maximize their bill. I am very skeptical of service providers, so I do not write this lightly. This comes to light when there are alternatives to the way something might be done. I will provide an example... for the toilet rebuild, we could have done a more minor (and less expensive) repair. Only after I asked, did he discuss a more complete rebuild. He did not push the higher priced job... if he pushed at all, it was to the more minor repair. Another example... MGE said I should replace the gas nozzle in in my fireplace if I ever wanted to start using it. When I asked Chad about this, he said that he could replace the nozzle, but that it might be better to just let chimney experts inspect and work on the fireplace as a whole. I realize that at least some will read this and think that I just fell for the old soft sell (I wouldn't blame you), but this opinion was initially formed last summer. I used Andy's for a job but I did not write a review because it was a small job and I knew I would be having them back to do the work listed above in this review. I had a gas line in the basement that went through the basement wall to the outside (above ground), then underground to an old grill that was no longer functional. There was a line leak in the basement. I wanted Chad to cut-and-cap the line outside of the house (since the grill was no longer functional), but repair the leak in case I wanted to use it in the future. He explained that it would save me money to just cut-and-cap the line prior to the leak, and that it would be very inexpensive to extend the line outside again if I ever did decide to replace the grill. As it turned out, I used the hole that the old gas line went through to run a 220 line out of the basement, so I would have had to remove the repaired line, anyway... thus Chad saved me even more money. In regards to the pricing, I gave a B rather than an A simply because I am guessing that you could find someone a little cheaper, but I'm not sure about this. For the quick scheduling, quick work, general service, and 24-hour emergency availability, I have absolutely no complaints about the prices.

While we were out of town, we had both water pipes leading to our half bath break. Luckily we had someone at the house who was able to turn off the water. We picked this company based on the large number of positive reviews on angie's list. When we called to schedule, they were upfront and honest with the price. Even recommended to us to wait until the next day to save money (instead of paying all the overtime charges that would have occurred having them come at 9pm). Chad arrived the next day, during the time he said he would! He was very professional, informative, and did not even seem to notice the chaos of us just getting back in town minutes before him! He shared information about how to help keep the pipes from freezing again. Chad also answered questions and wrote a quote about other plumbing concerns we wanted done. We will use them again!

Very prompt callback when making the original appointment. Only waited 1 day for (non emergency) service during what was likely a very busy time for them given the bitterly cold weather (and subsequent burst pipe emergencies). Polite, courteous, efficient, professional service. He gave an immediate crystal-clear price quote. The cost was fair for a high-quality, professional service. The work was finished quickly and efficiently. He didn't just rush out the door to the next job, but rather he checked the replaced valve several times for leaks before leaving. It was a good thing, too, because another slow leak was discovered in the adjacent hose (on both ends, even, so it was very likely an actual part failure and not just an attempt to boost the bill.) He discovered a problem with a failing hose pressure regulator valve during the service. He clearly described the issue and the effects it would have if left unfixed without pressuring us to pay for the work to be done immediately by him. (We will be calling back for this additional work, soon, though.) I have a PhD in mechanical engineering, so I understand the concepts well, but I do *not* enjoy plumbing. Andy's Pipe Dream will be my go-to service providers for any plumbing needs I have in the future.

Called Andy's Pipe Dream twice in three days (once during off hours) to get assistance with frozen pipes and then a water heater pilot problem. Andy's Pipe Dream returned my calls promptly and provided some quick fixes over the phone that eliminated the need for a service call. While no services were provided this time I'll be calling again the next time I need any kind of plumbing help. They were very helpful!

We had just arrived home from a four day holiday vacation. On Sunday at 10:30pm we had a pipe burst in our basement due to the cold. We called Andy's Pipe Dream, as we had used them in the past, and they had Chad our service person to our home within a half hour. The repair took only another 20 minutes. Andy's Pipe Dream is seriously one of the best service company's we have ever used.

I had a great experience with Andy's Pipe Dream. Based on Angie's List reviews, I emailed on New Year's Day about a clog that I thought I had in the kitchen sink and some other work I needed done. With it being a holiday, I figured that it would be at least the 2nd before I heard from anyone, but to my surprise, Andy called me that evening and we set up a convenient appointment time frame. He asked where I had heard of them and when I said Angie's List, he told me of the discounts he offered members. He was very helpful in answering my questions about garbage disposals and whether I should purchase one or get one from him. I didn't feel pressured either way and ultimately decided to research and get one myself. When Chad showed up, he was courteous and comfortable. He explained the breakdown of the cost estimate. I know plumbing service seems expensive to the layman, but even so, I was surprised by the cost for the basket replacement, but Chad explained why in a non-defensive way (unlike what you sometimes see from businesses). I agreed to the services and Chad got to work. In the process we discovered that there wasn't a clog, but that probably the backup was due to my poor plumbing skills (my words, not his), and after double checking to be sure said I wouldn't need the auguring that he had thought, saving me that cost. Also, as he worked, he recommended that I might in the future want to reconfigure an existing drain joint that could cause some problems, but never did I feel he was pressuring. I found Chad to be friendly, trustworthy, and patient and would be happy for him to do work for me in the future. I highly recommend Andy's Pipe Dream for plumbing needs.

Our home was built in 1937, and I would guess that the shower in the master bathroom is all original. About 10 years ago, one of the faucet stems broke and it was quite a chore to find a plumber who could even identify the faucet. (Graham Plumbing in Raytown, Mo., rode to the rescue that time, but that's another story.) A while back, the shower started to leak inside the wall. It got bad enough that a soft spot developed in the kitchen ceiling. My wife and I discussed this at length. Our other upstairs bath had been updated with a Moen single-handle shower faucet before we bought this house back in 1999, so we assumed that the only fix that was going to be available to us was ripping out the wall and installing something equivalent to the Moen. In addition to the plumbing work, that would entail patching our plaster walls and repairing the bathroom tile. Years ago, I'd had that job bid at $2,000. I was fully expecting a bid of $3,000 to repair my new problem. Even though I was ready to spend a lot of money on this repair, Chad wanted to go the conservative route. He found the parts he needed to do the job at the Plumber's Friend and got the leak stopped, spending more time at my house than he had probably anticipated. Because I do a lot of (simple) home repairs myself, I don't hire a lot of people to work at my house. So I'm pretty particular when someone does show up to do repairs, and I always try to spend time with them to get an idea of who they are and how they view the task at hand. Chad is a professional and someone I would trust to do much bigger and more involved jobs. My only regret: I had a coupon from Angie's List and forgot to use it.

Set up an appointment with Chad Jurgensen (Andys Pipe Dream) for the 26th at 8am, which he was here at that time. He quickly assesed the problem and did the replacement and repair job in less than an hour. I would recommend using him again for any of our plumbing needs. He did an great job, very pleasant and professional.

he was polite and efficient. I just moved and needed to fix a few things in the home. Andys was great about looking at all my issues and seeing what needed to be fixed, quoting and doing some of the work now and scheduled some in the future. awesome!

There was an issue with a truck failure which delayed their arrival at our house later then desired, but was no fault of serviceman. He could not have been nicer or more professional. Great guy.!! Owner was more then apologetic about truck issue and stayed with us on timeline of arrival and worked with us to make sure they would come that day as it was only day available to us that week. Options for problem were laid out in concise manner and job was done in an expedient and professional manner. When we are ready to fix other plumbing problem we will use them again.

I called Andy' s Pipe Dream company before 8AM. Andy answered the phone and said he would send Chad out by 1PM. Chad called me back at around 8:30AM and said that he could be at my house by 9:30 due to a cancellation. Chad was there by 9:30Am and had all of the work completed by 11:30AM! Chad did a great job. He was very professionall and cleaned up after his repairs!.

We are remodeling our kitchen and needed a gas line ran for our new gas stove. Chad looked the situation over and gave us a few different options on how to run the line, including associated costs. With his input we selected the best option for us. He ran the line and we were very satisifed. Chad also answered a few general plumbing questions I had and even gave me a quote on a couple of tasks. He is very knowledgable. Andy's Pipe Dream will be getting my business in the future. . . . and I will ask for Chad.
