Zen windows did an excellent job. They were nice and respectful. I chose them after getting several quotes because I felt comfortable with them and they also gave an unbeatable price with a lifetime guarantee. The job that I had was fairly complex since the porch was custom built when my Brookside home was originally built. Each of the 4 windows areas that were placed had varying dimensions so he had to get each piece of glass custom built. The only hang up we had is when the factory did not follow his specifications and sent him four windows of all the same size. It took four weeks for the factory to fix this problem, but once that was done, the work actually went by quickly. The majority of the work was done within a day, when they came back to put the plugs into the windows, they had to do some additional drilling and the jolt of the electric drill ended up breaking two of the glass brows. They quickly reordered the parts and had them replaced free of charge (no hidden charge for the window warranty). I would definitely use them again for any work, and if anyone is interested, I am willing to post pictures of the work they did.

Wonderful to work with. Did not have to sit through a boring sales pitch, and we still managed to get exactly what we wanted. We got the right types of windows that fit into our budget in a very reasonable amount of time. Installation was great, as well! Work was done quickly and professionally.

We are thrilled with our beautiful french door and windows. The custom grid design made everything come together beautifully. The price was amazing too. We actually received a quote for 3 times the amount we paid. Great service too!

I was impressed with John's initial visit. He was punctual and assured me he would be out to oversee the installation process. It is always good to work with the same person from beginning to end of a project. The windows came in and were installed BEFORE I expected. The installers worked hard to finish in a timely manner. They were polite and made sure the area was cleaned as though they were never there. My husband and I were very pleased with the quality of the windows and the professionalism of all involved We would gladly recommend this company to others.

Overall I had a great experience it not almost perfect with John and Zen windows. This being my first house, I have been looking at all types of little project to make the place more comfortable. I called john, setup a time to come meet me at the 7am. That was a great start as working in a office and need to get in John came out early and was a very nice for it being so early. Not only Did John walk me through the products, but also gave me ideas on other things for the house and methods for fixing little things. Needless to say that I went with Zen window, had the measurements taken and the window ordered. I think a little less than two weeks after ordering the window was shipped to John. With the KC weather rain, snow and shine all in one day, I told John that I was in now rush and let his team catch up on other jobs. When it came to install day It was going to stop at 8am, but they got caught up and didnt start til 9:30am. This was really the only thing that they did wrong trhough the process, but as I had to have someone come to the house while they were there I had no idea til later. As they finished they provided a little extra work outside what I paid for to really make it stand and look great. I would suggest using Zen window for all window needs in the future and I will be calling them shortly about a sliding door and maybe siding.

John Sims and crew did a terrific job on the replacement of my patio door and windows. They needed to custom fabricate two of the windows on site which came out perfect. I would highly recommend them. I completely understand why they have the highest rating by Angie's list.

They were very nice and answered all the questions that we ask and the job did not take long. We have told all of our friends about how please we were with them and we intend to call them back to do the rest of the windows in our house. We highly recommend this company ,they are the best.

John Sims was very polite, gave us an estimate and then left and gave us time to decide without pressure. We had some hang ups with a couple windows but they were mistakes from the factory and he was quick to apologize and make it right so we were happy. His install team was polite and timely. As far as his prices, they truly are excellent. The windows look amazing, we love our new sliding patio door and everyone tells us how great they look. They come with a lifetime warranty, even if we accidentally break one, he will replace it for free....for life! Can't beat that! We are very pleased and highly recommend Zen Windows!

The project went excellent. I have had several home improvements done and this one was by the far the best. They were punctional, courteous and completed our project very quickly. They were very responsive and out within a day to meet with us about the windows. The ordering of the windows and scheduling of the project took less than two weeks. They were not over selling and made us feel very comfortable about what we wanted and when it could be done. I would highly recommend this company to have quality windows installed and receive very professional service. They are also cost competitive and feel like you get your monies worth from their product and service.

Replacing my windows with John Sims of Zen Windows was a great experience. John provided me with a straight forward, clear and simple quote on 16 replacement windows. The price was very reasonable and the windows, triple pane, installed are just perfect. John came back a second visit before I decided what to do, at my request to provide additional documentation and answer all my questions about the performance of the windows and what I could expect. The team of installers went way above and beyond with excellent service. They were punctual and professional. In addition, they also installed 2 doors, repaired old existing termite damage, wood rot, added additional insulation. They also rehung all window coverings and when they were finished, it looked fantastic! In addition to doing a great job with the windows, they helped catch my little dog when he escaped out the garage door and as I was planting a tree in the back yard, they helped me stake it up just so! Professional all the way. John and his team of installers helped turn what was a very stressful project for me into a easy pleasant experience. I am so grateful to John and his crew for the work they did getting my windows replaced and my doors replaced.

John Sims came out to my home and reccomended an energy efficient window. He measured the windows and explained the installation process. The windows had to be manufactured. When they were ready, I was contacted to schedule a time for installation. The installation process was timely and smooth. The windows were replaced with almost no "mess". The process was neat and clean. The upper level of the house had siding and the windows were wrapped. Other companies required the wrapping to be replaced. They may have advertised cheaper prices; however, there were many add-ons. I did have an issue with the manufactor sending a different product that was a little different than the product that I ordered; however, the problem was fixed immediately and handled very professionally. The service and quality of the product was exceptional.

They were very professional. Mr. Sims, the owner of this company, stayed on the work site for 2 days to ensure this was all completed properly. What I really liked is that Mr. Sims brought in the experts needed to complete each stage of the project. This included framing experts, siding experts, etc. When they identified termite damage Mr. Sims also recommended a good termite remediation company. Overall, I highly recommend this company to others.

John and the crew go above and beyond with their product and customer service I will use them again and refer them out to everyone I know!

Crew arrived on time, replaced 8 windows, cleaned up after themselves. Did a great job.

John did estimate and measured. Crew came in Friday morning and installed windows net, cleaning job. Cleaned all windows afterward. Chad Huck was crew leader and crew did professional job, left no mess and made point of cleaning glass inside and out after work completed.

John & his crew were on time, very respectful of our home, knowledgeable &great to work with, the whole experience with Zen Windows was wonderful!
