Zen Windows was a really good company to work with. Their prices were reasonable and the installers did a fabulous job. The windows look great and function very well. They were professional, courteous, and overall very easy to work with. The owner even stopped by during the first installation to make sure everything was going well. I would highly recommend them.

Mr. Sims came to our home and spoke with us about what our needs were and how he could help us. Following this, his builder, Mr. Lopez came to take measurements and inspect the areas that we were concerned with regarding water intrusion and wood rot. Fabrication of our new patio doors and windows completed ahead of the entry doors, so those were installed first. They also repaired wood rot on four of our window frames. They also re-installed the existing windows correctly (some of the previous installations were improper). A week later, our new entry doors arrived, which was a week sooner than projected. All installations were fast, clean and professional. There were some bumps along the way, but Mr. Sims and Mr. Lopez corrected them right away. At no time did I ever feel that I was going to be left with a project I was unhappy with. I have had a great experience with Zen Windows. I would highly recommend them to others!

It was a good experience. They were quick. They had good products and service. Their was confusion initially but they worked so hard on their customer service to ensure that I got good service.

John Sims and his crew arrived about 8:30 and worked until everything was installed, about 6:30 or 7:00 New Years eve. They were thorough, professional and not only cleaned up nicely and hauled away everything, they also hauled off old window frames and storms that were not part of the project. The door we had purchased from Lowes did not have a bottom sweep long enough to reach the front door stoop and one of the windows had a broken sash. John has order a new sash and will install it and a new storm door sweep asap. John was easy to work with and communicated every part of the process to assure complete understanding and was on the job site to supervise his guys. We have had previous experience with contractors that was trying, to say the least, but John provided a smooth, professional, totally satisfying experience at an extremely reasonable cost. The windows are good quality, everything was done as discussed and we would use John again for any other windows we decide to replace.

John returned calls and emails timely and kept me informed as to delivery date. He apologized for a delay in production and when the windows were delivered, they installed all of the windows in one day. He even hauled off the remains of three storm doors that we had someone else install.

The crew arrived a little past 8 am and they were ready to go. The crew's experience and efficiency were greatly appreciated. Total time to remove and replace 9 windows was approximately 2.5-3 hrs and they installed the day before Thanksgiving. WOW! The windows look fabulous!!

His crew are 4 real American Men!! AWSOME!! It took his Crew 2 days to install 22 Windows and one patio door. The guys where polite and respectful. I even felt comfortable to leave my house for a few hours while they where installing the windows. They cleaned up their mess when the job was finished. I have had to call john for little things, excpeted things, since the windows where installed. He remembers me right away and is alwasys quick respond to my request. We needed to replace our windows this Fall and selected Zen Windows to do the work. From the time we met owner John Sims, we knew that we were in luck. From the initial meeting, with his brief no high pressure sells, product sample, and very reasonable prices, we knew he was reliable and we would be getting expert service and great quality windows. The installation began as scheduled and was completed in a timely manner. All the men were respectful, courteous and family friendly (no foul language). I work a lot of hours and he worked with my schedule and met me at times that fit my schedule, not his. I really appreciated that. I was referred to him by work associate that had Zen Windows replace windows in his home 2 years ago, and he has been happy that he used Zen. I originally used Zen last year for windows upstairs and front of house. I called him back and he replaced windows on back side of house. Now I have called him a third time and having him replace bay window and basement windows. I could not afford to do it all at once, so dividing it up helped my budget. The windows open/close with one hand & easy to clean. They have 2 installers, Chad and George. I do fine woodworking and am pretty picky about details. They both did excellent work. I highly recommend Zen Windows without reservation.

From the initial visit/estimate with John through the final installation steps the job went very well. Our house is 31 years old and had old wooden casement windows. John and Chad measured the windows and doors and ordered them based on those measurements. When the windows and doors came the factory had made a mistake on two of the bedroom windows. As it turned out, we were able to utilize the windows ordered and they were better than what we hoped. Once the job was complete the difference was amazing. The new windows and doors make the house quieter as well as warmer/cooler. As soon as the job was finished we immediately noticed the air conditioner not working as hard or coming on as often. We anticipate there will be a huge difference this winter in the warmth of the house. The installation crew was very conscientious and professional They were on time and explained what they were doing. As with any remodel job there were challenges along the way but John and his crew worked through the challenges and delivered a very good quality product in a professional manner. I highly recommend Zen Windows.

John, the owner, promptly returned my initial phone call within the same date I reached out to him. He was flexible in scheduling the estimate appointment within our schedule request. We received the price quote within 24 hours of him visiting our house and assessing our needs. We proceeded with the project after receiving the quote. The window we ordered took 2 weeks to arrive into inventory, and the installation was done within 2-3 days after that. His team worked hard. They uncovered more damage than initially thought, but gave us an updated assessment every step along the way. The final cost was higher than estimate but it was clear what caused the additional cost, as John was transparent throughout our process. When everything was done, John came by that same day to do his quality assurance and to ensure we were satisfied with the final product and installation. Honesty, integrity and hard work describe John and his team. Strongly recommend!

John Sims is great business owner and I really enjoyed working with him. He didn't pressure me at all and he was very attentive to my needs. He didn't request many money up front. He allowed me too wait until everything was installled and inspected before paying. Due to backorders (John sent me emails from the factory to keep me informed) my windows arrived a bit later than we had expected. John came to my home to apologize and gave us a gift certificate to take the family to dinner as compensation. He also offered to have his team install my screen door for free. We're very happy with our new windows and I would definitely hire Zen windows again. The price was fair, the produce was good, the installation team was professional, and John Sims was a pleasure to work with.

The team from Zen Windows arrived promptly at 8 am. They went right to work and were extremely efficient. I had a lot of windows to replace, and it was a day-long project. The only break they took was for lunch. The guys on the crew were all friendly and professional and more than willing to answer questions. They were also very patient with my dogs and their occasional curiosity through the day. There was one minor snag when an electric line was cut in a place they didn't anticipate and I was unaware of. They fixed it with no hesitation and it ended up barely being a hiccup in the project. John (the owner) came out twice during the day to check on progress and answer any questions I might have. When the project was complete, the entire property was completely free of debris. The clean-up was fantastic. Best of all, the windows are gorgeous and they all work perfectly. It completely changes the look and feel of my house for the better. I alerted John a few days after the windows were installed that I noticed 2 of the windows only had half screens instead of full ones. He immediately ordered the full screens and will be out to replace them as soon as they are in. That's great customer service! These were incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable people to work with, and I highly recommend them!

Enjoyed working with this contractor. Very professional. Two new casement windows (size 30"x72") were added as part of a basement finish. Pricing for custom build and installation was lower than quotes we received from two local retailers. Contractor was easy to schedule appointments with and arrived on time; even made an unscheduled trip out to drop off color samples. Order was approved June 13th and windows were installed on July 23rd?5 1/2 weeks?that long turnaround time was disconcerting but we weren't in a particular hurry. Maybe an A- overall because of that extended wait time?just something buyers should be aware of. Window openings were already framed into the wall so all the installation crew needed to do was cut away the siding and one stud. Installation took less than 2 hours. They added caulking, flashing and painted wood trim to match the house. All we had to do was test them at the end. Both windows roll in and out great, lock/seal just fine and look nice. Glad we added them.

The ordering process and installation went very smoothly. The crew arrived early this morning to install the three windows and completed the job around 1:30. We appreciated the professionalism of John and his crew. They were very easy to work with.

This was a great company. They came out gave me a free estimate with no pressure. When I decided to have the work done they gave me an install date and showed up on time. The crew was very skilled and had our job completed in 1 day, they kept my home clean and when they left you wouldn't know they were here except for the beautiful windows they installed. All of the windows were replaced and the wood rot repaired to our satisfaction. John Simms was incredible to work with! Quick to respond to any questions we had, always punctual and his handling of this entire job surpassed our expectations. Nothing goes as smoothly as planned, and when concerns arose they were addressed quickly. One small part was not shipped by the manufacturer and it's late arrival delayed completion of the project. John is all about customer service and worked closely with us in accomodating our difficult schedule, as well as answering questions. We are very pleased with the service and the workmanship with Zen windows and would highly recommend them to other customers.

John was great to work with. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. There ended up being problems with the order and John took responsibility for his part in it, and made it right without me even asking him to. He seems like a very honest and trustworthy guy. I'll definitely be using Zen Windows again for future window needs.
