John was awesome to work with-came out to the house and explained the whole process of ordering the windows-had a quote the same day! very easy to work with-available via email and text and responded very fast. Kept me updating with status of windows and install date Installers were on time-very professional-great to work with-notified me of lunch breaks and when they would be back-and starting and ending time for the day! Went over all the windows when they finished to make sure I was happy with everything-which I was-everything was perfect I can't wait to have them back in a few weeks to finish the rest of my windows

Excellent. John was extremely helpful and informative. We had one snag where manufacturer sent wrong size windows but John got it corrected immediately. Communication was excellent.

John was very easy to work with, super honest and explained the install process well. I was looking for the best energy efficiency numbers possible. John was able to meet my request with quality triple pane foam filled replacement windows and still stay within my budget. Installers were fast, efficient, clean and appeared to take pride in their work. Great product, great service, great price.

We used Zen windows on our last house that we owned and had a great experience. We saw a instant savings on our energy bills, and with a growing family it was time for a little more room! We bought a home that needs some wood windows replaced due to wood rot, John came out and we decided on the 7 worst windows this year, George and his crew came 3 weeks later and did a outstanding job on the install and cleanup and made sure our children and pets were safe while they were working. I had no idea how to select windows and/or installers. I got bids from several companies and discovered prices were fairly similar for most of them, about $400-$500 per window. I read several horror stories online, asked friends, and read reviews on Angie's List. I decided to make my choice by selection of salesperson/presentation rather than by window descriptions, which I found VERY confusing. From the beginning I was impressed with the owner, John Sims, calling on me himself. He responded promptly to every request or question while I was making my choice. I knew from our conversations that I could trust him as a person and businessman. No nonsense, no pressure. What better criteria for making what was, for me, a large expenditure. I don't remember him promising anything different or better than the others. I just knew he would keep his word to give me the best windows at the best price in a timely manner. The windows arrived faster than any of the other quotes I had received. The installation was over the top! My windows and the slider are beautiful, they work well, and within two days I noticed the difference in my home's temperature. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND John Sims and Zen Windows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We ordered the windows and John said that it would take a few makes to manufacture. He called me just a few weeks later saying that they had just come in and he had a cancellation, so they could install them one of the two following days if I had availability. I agreed to have someone around the following day. George and Martin showed up exactly when they said that they would and set to work getting the windows replaced. One thing that I will say is that you can get many of the same types of windows from each local company that sells them, but the important thing to shop is the quality of installation. George and Martin do a fantastic job making sure to be careful with existing trim that will remain, but also their ability to get a clean line of caulk when finalizing the install is fantastic.

Very pleased with the install and especially the service. We had one hiccup with a couple of windows and Mr. Sims was out the next day to resolve the issue. He kept in contact so I was informed of the product production and install date range. The process was very smooth and pleasant. I would definitely recommend John Sims and Zen Windows.

The entire process was very easy. Within a day of calling, John came over and quickly provided a competitive estimate. Window installers were very friendly and professional.

John was very knowledgable and gave me some great suggestions when deciding what brand and type of windows to go with. His team showed up right when they said that they would and got the windows done in about 5-6 hours. The work that they did appears to be top notch all the way down to the clean caulking lines around the inside and outside of the windows. They also fixed leaks on two older windows that weren't in my current budget to replace.

Went very well from the start. The quote was short and to the point. Scheduling was quick and easy. The installers were professional and did a great job. They were polite and punctual. A couple windows had to be reordered, but this was thoroughly explained and they were reinstalled immediately once the correct windows came in.

Zen Windows is a quality service with a quality product. They are honest and easy to reach if there are questions or concerns. Many of my windows had wood rotted trim including sills. They replaced the wood rot and even former wood rot replacement that was done incorrectly. They were timely, helpful, generous, efficient, and offered a great window. They even helped me carry an old bed and mattress outside to be disposed. My house is draft free for the first time in years! I am very thankful to have found a company that is not offering pressure and gimmicks, just quality work at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

From day one, I spoke with John Sims, the owner. He is courteous, prompt, professional and friendly. This is a guy who knows his windows! To replace all of our windows, we braced ourselves for a large bill. However, John was incredibly reasonable and we were pleasantly surprised! The installers showed up promptly the day of the install and worked throughout the day to complete the job correctly. They event went as far as making a special trip to the hardware store to purchase the finishing trim for install. John showed up to check in on the progress and see what his team needed. They did a wonderful job and at a very fair price. The damage they found was extensive. And they took the time fix it right before installing the windows. I appreciate their attention to detail and reliability in every part of the job. The crew was very receptive and John was a pleasure to work with.

We had our patio doors and some of our windows in bad condition. Requested and got quotes from many and finally assigned the work to Zen Windows. The primary reason for selecting them was that their quote was good, the products offered were impressive and they also agreed to take care of the wood rots. The only delay was about 4 weeks to get the windows and doors from the manufacturer. Ken Windows personnel came last week and completed all the wood repair and installing the windows/doors. They were very open and considerate to any suggestions with material or the work. The completed work was really professional and of very good quality. They have also cleaned all the mess thoroughly. The management supervision throughout the work is commendable. I will trust and use their service in future also will recommend them to any of my friends.

John and his crew did an excellent job at a competitive price. I would recommend that when doing competitive bids to include John in your process for a comparable quality window and installation.

The whole ZEN team, George and Martin and the President, John Sims provided outstanding services from start to finish. The initial visit and estimate was quick and professional. Email questions and some corrections to the order was answered and handled in a timely manner by John. The window removal and installation by George and Martin was professionally done. They worked from the time they arrived to late in the day. They found and repaired some extensive wood rot which took some additional time but all were repaired to perfection. They did everything that was stated in the estimate and more. All repairs were done at no charge but I had to pay for the supplies which were a little more than I anticipated. All in all, a great experience! I would recommend ZEN windows to those needing replacement windows.

The window ordering and installation went very smoothly and professionally. The wait time for the windows was longer than I wanted, but it was mostly because of the special type of windows we had to order to satisfy the historical regulations. John Sims the owner is a class act. Very knowledgable on windows and the industry in general. He was very competitive on his pricing. I also got a bid from Window World and they never even followed up with me. John was my contact during the entire process so I was happy dealing directly with the owner. All 17 windows installed in one day, cleaned up after themselves and fixed some wood rot for me as well. I have already recommended him to a friend and will continue to do so. When I first call Zen Windows left a message for a return call, within 10 minutes I received a call from John. We set-up an appointment for two days later and John showed up exactly as promised. He gave me his recommendations and sent me a quote the next day. Before we agreed he wanted his installer (George) to come out and measure. George came out the same day. John said it would take approximately 3 - 4 weeks to get the windows and it took 3 weeks. John called and we scheduled a date and time for the install. George and his assistant showed up about 5 minutes before their scheduled time which was great. George said it would take approximately 4 hours to complete the job and it took about 3:45 minutes. The windows look GREAT !!! It's very rare to have contractor call you back and do what they say they are going to do.......if you are needing to install new or replacement windows do not hesitate to use Zen Windows....they are a first class act !!!!
