Sue, the owner, came to our house and gave us an estimate for bi-weekly cleaning. She gave us one price for cleaning the whole house and a price to clean just the main floor. We agreed to average the price. The initial cleaning was great - her staff was attentive and cleaned well except for one problem - they did not make beds which we later found out was a service performed "upon request". Okay, no problem. We contacted the company 4 days before our second scheduled cleaning to let her know we would be out of town and we did not want our house sitter to have to deal with the cleaning crew and asked to reschedule. Sue stated that she would have to charge more than the agreed upon price because she would have to start from all over since it would be a month between cleanings. We understood her point of view and decided we would NOT cancel the second cleaning, but instead have it cleaned as per the initial agreement. We then asked Sue to make sure the beds were made this time, she agreed that they would be done. Ten minutes later after agreeing, she called back and said that our agreement wasn't going to work out and that even though the beds would take 10-15 minutes to make she would be losing money on our house. In other words, she realized that her bid to clean our house was too low. Instead of just asking us to renegotiate the amount we paid, she decided "it wasn't going to work". We do not mind paying money for great service and this company provides GREAT service. We have not complaints about the quality of work. However, we were turned off by the lack of professionalism displayed by this owner.

My husband and I both work and don't want to spend weekend time cleaning! I joined Angie's List recently, specifically to find housekeepers and chose Sue Bee based on other reviews here. We've had 3 other cleaners off and on, during the last 5 years and we agree that Sue Bee's staff are the best we have found. Although the cost is a bit more than previous cleaners, the quality is well worth it! First visit was 3 hours by two experienced cleaners, best $180 I've spent in a year!! They moved furniture, cleaned light fixtures and tops of shelves, etc. in addition to general cleaning. Last visit two women came for 2 hours. One was obviously still in training and the senior staff member was checking her work constantly. They did a great job with baseboards and other details, which helps the house look extra clean. They arrived a couple of minutes early and worked constantly - no chatting and wasting time like some others we have hired in the past. Sue Bee's can tailor the cleaning and time spent to your needs. I will be recommending them to friends at work.

The crew worked continuously (in other words, they didn't and quot;padand quot; the hourly charge by moving slowly). One of the ladies actually got the
sticky hair spray oversrpay off the tile floor in my bathroom, scrubbing on her hands and knees, using Bon Ami. They charge $30 per hour per person, so if you use them, be sure to ask how many people they will send over and get fairly detailed about what you want done so you don't get any surprises. I usually clean my own house because I'm very picky, but recently had knee replacement surgery and couldn't clean the place myself. I've used this service twice now and they are very thorough, and even meet my very picky standards.

Sue herself came to get her crew started. I was looking for a cleaning service where the owner was involved hands-on and that's what I got. They were very prompt, communicated prior to the visit and did a great job. The entire house was cleaned very well and they did the extra things I requested for the "spring cleaning" also. They put in more hours than they estimated and did not charge me for the extra hours, which was really nice. All in all a great experience.

Sue was very responsive to my phone call and she visited my home and met with me personally. She told me what to expect, how much time it would take and how much it would cost. She was very helpful and asked me to make sure and let her know if there was anything her Service could do better or in addition to what they were providing. Sue also came with the cleaning personnel on my first and second housecleaning and she came back after they were done to make sure the services were peformed as promised. Sue's crew are good down-to-earth people who make your home (and pets) and your satisfaction their priority.

I am very please with Sue Bee's services - makes my life so much easier and lets me enjoy my free time rather than cleaning!
