They were not legitimate. They didn't help us at all. They used the church's credit card number and did not turn up after that. They were punctual at first, but after they got the credit card number, we didn't hear from them anymore.
Description of Work: The appliance repair company looked at the stove, took it apart, and left without repairing it.

The office told me a service call cost only $45 but failed to mention it was $45 for each appliance examined. The technician told his office they should make the upfront charges clearer in the future. The service charges were both waived as I chose to have the work completed (as I am on crutches). I believe the charges, however, are structured on the assumption that only one appliance is being fixed on any call; so when 2 or more are fixed, the company is raking in something like a windfall profit. I understand this is apparently common practice in the industry. The tech, very nice guy, was understanding of my lament on paying $388 for less than an hour's work, but of course could not or would not do anything.
Description of Work: Replaced evaporator motor (fan) on the refrigerator for $188, parts and labor and replaced dishwasher's water valve for $172, plus taxes. Altogether it took about 55 minutes. The refrigerator repair simply entailed removing a panel from the inside back wall of the freezer, noting the fan was not moving, unplugging the fan and replacing it. The dishwasher repair entailed removing the kick-plate on the front of the machine, shutting off the house water supply, unscrewing the valve and replacing it.

It started out ok. They were nice on the phone, though they were slower than they said they would be (said 10 to 12 they'd be there, showed up at 3). In any case, the guy showed up to repair it finally, started looking at and replaced the part (took five minutes, one part). He then tells me it's $324, which is absolutely ridiculous. Well then I thought, perhaps this was an expensive part--luckily, he left the bag. So I looked it up, $19.99 online--total ripoff. I would never use them again.
Description of Work: Came out and replaced a minor part on our fridge.
