Sweet Dreams Residential Cleaning

First of all, I tried to contact them through their website with no response. Then I called and left a message with no response. I had actually bought a living social deal that I wanted to redeem, maybe that's the reason why but I'm not sure why someone would agree to offer those services if they weren't prepared to honor them. At any rate, I contacted LS and told them I wanted my money back because the merchant was non-responsive. Somehow they got another phone number that someone actually picked up. I ended up scheduling the cleaning and the 2 ladies were here for 2 hours. Not a lot got done except very basic vacuuming, wiping down counters and mirrors, etc. I've had several different cleaners in the past but they were BY FAR the worst I've ever had. They moved very slowly which isn't a big deal as long as the house gets clean. My house isn't very big, less than 1500 sq ft and I'm very tidy so it's not like they had to work around a bunch of clutter or anything. At the end I gave them the voucher and she tells me "Oh, you have to pay the sales tax, it's $18" I just looked at her for a minute in bewilderment. I knew it said I had to pay taxes but $18 is AT LEAST double the amount of tax I should be paying on $106 bill. I didn't feel like it was worth squabbling over so I just paid it. I just had a very bad impression of them and the service was terrible. I'd never use them again. I'd recommend staying away.
