Green Team Window Cleaning

I bought a coupon last fall planning to use it for spring window cleaning. I called and they were able to come the next day. They were very personable and gave me an estimate before starting work. They did a great job and I will use them again.

We had a few problems scheduling due to the weather. He honored the Angie's List coupon even though it was past the expiration date, as the reason for the delay was the weather. Overall I was very satisfied.

Overall it went well. However, they didn't place the gutter guards back on the gutters very well.

They're very punctual, professional, and were very careful of my furniture, floors, etc.

They were great! They were very professional, on time, & returned phone calls. They did a good job - the windows were sparkly clean. They cleaned up as they went along, so things were put back as they were used or moved. They were steady workers - got in & out. The screens were not washed however & I would've hoped they would've done those as well. They also did charge a high price per pane for french windows. However it was a good experience overall.

Chris arrived on time in cold weather and reviewed the entire house, inside and out, to give me the final cost. It was good, so he began outside. He removed screens and reinstalled them. He also removed heavy wrought iron storm door security guards and reinstalled them. I have cleaned the windows myself and hired a different company to do them. They have never looked so good! He even removed paint that has been on the windows for years and stains that I thought were etched into the glass. Chris did a fantastic job, much beyond my expectations. I did not believe my windows would ever look so good; they almost look they are open. He was polite, friendly, professional and answered all of my questions. He even put on 'booties' over his shoes when he came inside. No one could have done a better job. I will recommend him and use him again.

The service went fine overall. They were thorough; we have a large window over the entry way that has a wood frame that needs to be removed in order to clean the window, which they did. They did a good job!

Excellent experience. Chris was great to work with and he and Brian did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone and we will use them again. They had a tough job given our very old windows, but they were careful and patient and the results were great.

This is a good company that did a good job. I was attracted to them by an Angie's $75 entire house window cleaning offer. There was an additional $42 charge for my average-size split-level house, so I felt a bit baited-and-switched by the experience. Regardless, the total price was fair. They were a little slow to contact me after I purchased the $75 deal; this was not a problem for me because I wasn't immediately prepared have the work done.

My suggestion is this. When you are talking about something as simple as washing windows, it is not a task with lots of ins and outs. I think you would find more people willing to review if you kept it simple. If people want to elaborate they will. I filled in a grade for price, although I don't know if it was a good price or not. I think in general I would not purchase a" good deal" again. It is easier to judge from a simple estimate rather than purchasing a set amount that may or maynot have much meaning in the final analysis.

When I contacted them for their services they were very prompt in setting up a workable date. They did an excelllent job of cleaning the windows and the screens. They were very professional. I would definetly use their services again.

Great! So great that I have made a second appt for them to finish the rest of the house. I just can't believe how great the windows look and how nice Chris and his team are. I could not be more pleased (especially considering my windows are over 50 years old!

I purchased a "Big Deal" for $150 worth of window cleaning for $75. Chris explained how they charged for windows. Since I have old windows with french panes, screens and storm windows, I decided which ones that I wanted to have cleaned. They arrived on time and and did a great job.

We took a chance on these guys using a deal listed on Angie's List. We knew our gutters were clogged and were having some water coming into our upstairs windows during heavy rainfall. They called to arrange the appointment promptly and were very polite over the phone. We are very satisfied with the quality of the services. They came and completed the work while we were not home but we noticed the difference immediately. The gutters were cleaned and empty and looked almost brand new. Since that point, we have had no leaking through our windows. We plan to use this company again when we need our gutters cleaned in the future.

Chris and Brian arrived on time and went about their work quickly, as there was a time constraint. I left them to do the job mostly, but Chris, who was set up inside with his easel (a true window washing artiste), was an excellent multitasker, cleaning, conversing, and giving helpful tips at the same time. They did an excellent job and were gone when I needed them to be.

Took two months to complete requested service because Green Team was too busy. On the day of our appointment I called an hour after the scheduled time and they said they would be at my home in 30 minutes. They arrived about an hour and a half late.

The service was a great value. He even took a picture of some flashing on the roof that he said I should look at getting repaired. I would definitely consider using the service again as I have a two story house. He was pretty booked up so I had to book about a month out. Next year, I'll try to schedule right before Thanksgiving as my trees should have lost all of their leaves by then.

You would be foolish if you didn't take advantage of their services.

I thorough enjoyed speaking with Chris and crew when they came to clean my home windows. They were all very professional and did an exceptional job cleaning my windows, some of which were very tricky indeed to reach. The were only two things that temper what would have been a MOST OUTSTANDING review. One, and this couldn't be avoided so it doesn't really count, is that I had originally purchased a Big Deal from Angie's list in order to have the windows cleaned on another house that I had up for sale and I wanted it to look its best for the showings. The day of the appointment at that house was the day of the cold/snow/rain/ice/horrible weather storm and all appointments had to be rescheduled. The earliest date available was 3-4 weeks away (which I guess is good from the standpoint that the Green Team was in high demand) so it didn't happen in time for my house sale. On the other hand, I had Chris do my home windows and I couldn't be happier to actually see my backyard again! Two, we had one little accident where Chris was precariously perched in order to reach a high window, and despite my suggestion to use a ladder, he found another way to get up there and ended up slipping and knocking down some bookshelves. Other than a little c**** out of a votive candle holder, no harm was done and he was not injured. He certainly felt bad, and I couldn't be mad after he replaced the shelf and gave me a coupon for future use. He was so friendly and got my windows so clean...well I know we all have 'those days'. I will definitely use the Green Team again for window cleaning, and am anxious to see how they do on gutters too!

I purchased gutter cleaning from this company via an Angieslist Big deal. The price was great. The service was great. Communication was probably the best I've seen and we use a lot of contractors. I purchased the big deal last fall, took a few weeks to make the call to schedule an appointment, and the earliest they had was at the beginning of January. No big deal since I know that companies book up faster with the offering of a Big Deal and we weren't in any rush. Anyway, on the day of service, they communicated that they would be running a little late (no problem...glad they called). I was at work but my dad was waiting for their arrival. They cleaned my gutters and even texted me a before and after picture which I appreciate since it would easy to scam given the difficult access to 2 story gutters. My dad told me later that they also hosed out the gutters when they were done (which he was really impressed with). They cleaned up the compost from the gutters with minimal mess left over. I would recommend Green Team to anyone, however, we may not use them again if we can find someone else more local only because of their mileage charge (we live in the country). But having said that, we wouldn't hesitate to call them again. These guys are great and can be trusted!! Thanks Green Team!!

Chris , the owner, and his helper, Brian, arrived promptly on the designated morning and immediately began assessing the scope of the job. I had purchased a coupon last fall good for 20 windows, which discounted the work; but I also had a few extra windows and I wanted all of my screens cleaned, as well. The total amount paid (as shown above) includes the cost of the original coupon plus the additional $36.00 I agreed to pay for two additional windows and 12 screens, a cost I considered most reasonable. I was given that final, on-site estimate--as well as the opportunity to accept or reject it--before they started their work; and the additional money agreed to was all I was asked to pay upon completion. The work progressed quickly and uneventfully. The men wore booties to protect my carpet from soil when working inside and arrived with ladders and all other equipment needed to reach the windows on the second floor when working outdoors. I failed to keep track of their time here, but they seemed very efficient and were done with the entire job and on their way to an afternoon appointment within a couple of hours, at most. I actually stood these guys up once on a nice, sunny day with winter temperatures in the high fifties because I was distracted by a previously scheduled physical therapy appointment. It took us two attempts and a couple of weeks to reschedule successfully. When we were finally able to hit upon a mutually convenient day and time, the weather was cold and blustery. I felt truly guilty about the conditions under which the young men were working, but Chris and Brian never complained. Would I hire the Green Team again? Absolutely. Furthermore, I learned while they were here that they also do seasonal lighting. Now I know whom to call next November to give me a head start on holiday preparations!!
