Within 2 minutes of driving away after the repair, my dashboard lit up: ABS brakes, airbag, 4x4, etc. I then had to take the car back a second time before the diagnostic codes went away. I think they probably do good basic work; but I wouldn't take my European car back for major repairs.

I disliked the communication, I had to call them for updates and to know when I would get my car back. They had my car for over a week which I thought was a bit long.

PFM Zionsville did a comprehensive diagnosis and determined that I had a leak in a brake line related to the ABS.  They did the repair for $400 ($2,700 LESS than Lexus's estimate!).  As a result, I have now taken several of my vehicles to PFM Zionsville for service.  They have my complete confidence, and they are open until midnight through the week which is of great convenience.

I left my car there because they said it would take 45 minutes. I walked over to La Fitness for about an hour to hour and a half. I returned and my car had just been taken back. It took over two and a half hours. HORRIBLE !
The only thing I had done was the oil change. As I was leaving I asked about the wipers and they said "Oh, umm...let me check.". They were not replaced, they asked if I wanted them to take the car back and install them. I refused to wait any longer.
Response from PFM Car & Truck Care Center
"This review was from a service two years prior. After reviewing I found that we did a Winterize service, 60,000 mile maintenance and an oil change. The wiper blades were replaced. All of these services would have taken more than 45 minutes. I am not sure of the conversation but apparently we did not communicate with the customer the time required to do the work he requested. It is impossible to tell as memories are not clear after nearly two years. I do apologize that he was not please with the service he received."

Everything went very well. The work was performed as requested, and the wiper blades are still in use. This was an Angie's List big deal.

I called the Carmel store to discuss the repair to my generator in our Motorhome.  The gentleman I spoke to said they do repair work to generators.  I let him know that I believed the starter had gone out over the weekend, but it also was very difficult to start prior to that and had a very unpleasant odor from the exhaust.  I also explained to him that the park lights were working intermittently. They did call me to let me know that the starter indeed did need to be replaced and before he could do any other diagnosis work to the generator, this would need to be repaired.  He gave me the cost of the repairs which I approved.  He also told me the light switch was bad and needed to be replaced which was causing the park lights to not work correctly.  I again approved that repair.  Two days later, a different person called me to let me know that all repairs were completed.  I asked him if the generator was working to which he said they replaced the starter and cleaned the carburetor and all was in order.  I came and picked up the Motorhome.  Two days later, we were leaving to take a trip with the Motorhome.  We did start the generator, which was still difficult to start.  About a half hour into our trip, we noticed much smoke coming from the generator exhaust.  Moments later it stopped and could not be restarted.  Upon arriving at our destination, I noticed oil had sprayed on the back of the MH.  I opened the bay and found oil all over the generator as well.  I checked the level of the oil and found it to be overfilled.  I also found a tool that had been left inside the bay by the technician.  Additionally, a plastic grommet that the door prop fits into had also been broken.   I called PFM Carmel that day to let them know what had happened and that I would like them to look at it on Monday.  They agreed.  Upon arriving on Monday, I discussed these items with the same person I originally talked to.  The mechanic that did the repairs was also standing there, so I also discussed it with him.  They insisted that they ran the generator many times before letting me know it was fixed.  I asked them if the put a "load" on the generator.  They replied that they didn't know how to get the load on it and therefore they didn't do that.  (They certainly could have called me, or talked to someone else in the company!).  I was told they have a certified Onan Generator mechanic at the Zionsville location.  I asked if that person could look at the generator.  This was done.  I was called back and told that there is a $280 diagnostic charge to let me know that the problem with the generator is it needs a new carburetor.  The charge for that is about $500.  He said that is what caused the problems that I was having.  He also recommended a new muffler.  Again, I authorized the charges but was clear that I wanted to discuss this with the owner as I believe that I should not be charged for the diagnostic work.  The owner did call me.  He said that I was never charged for anything at the Carmel store except for the starter.  Therefore, the diagnostic charge is reasonable.  He did acknowledge that I was inconvenienced.  He did not acknowledge the fact that his mechanic broke a piece on my vehicle.  He offered a "loyalty credit" of $50.  The work was completed and I did pick up the Motorhome at the Zionsville location.  Even after all of that, when I picked up the car, they had not locked the generator bay door, nor the hood door!  Very sloppy.  I would not recommend working with them.
Response from PFM Car & Truck Care Center
"I am am sorry that the we did not meet the owner's expectations. The generator would not start or even crank over due to a burnt out starter. We replaced the starter on the generator, it started and ran off and or throughout the day after the starter replacement. The unit appeared to be operating correctly and the vehicle was returned to the customer. The customer brought the generator back because it was not running properly. The carburetor on the generator engine was bad. We replaced the carburetor. The customer was concerned that he was charged twice for diagnostics. After reviewing the invoices I assured him that he was not. It was my understanding at that time he understood and agreed with me. I gave him an adjustment of $50 for his trouble. I thought that he was good with our efforts to make the situation right for him, unfortunately after reading his review it does not appear to be the case. Unfortunately the second problem did not manifest itself while we testing it or we would have made both repairs at the same time. We make every effort to do all the repairs necessary the first time, we strive to always have satisfied customers."

Everyone at PFM was very professional and courteous. My wife and I bought 2 Big Deal coupons to have our cars checked out for the winter season. We have continued to use their services for routine oil changes and check ups.

I was overseas.  The drivers door window on my daughter's car quit working.  I coached her on calling the repair shop and getting a phone estimate.  She went there and they fixed it promptly, did it correctly and didn't take advantage of her.  Made me a relieved dad while I was 7000 miles away.

This company was professional and did a good job winterizing my vehicle.  They have a comfortable waiting area with wi-fi.  I would use this company again in the future.

Nothing exceptional. They were professional and got me in for work in a timely manner. They wanted to sign me up for as a frequent member.  I would have wanted more verbal communication regarding the mechanical condition / issue with my vehicle.  If you are considering using this company, I would recommend them.
Response from PFM Car & Truck Care Center
"I think the customer has confused us with someone else. He has never been to this location, we did a winterize at a different store 13 months earlier and he paid $19.95 for the Angie's List Deal not $45.00. Also he said he was asked to join a frequent member program, we do not have any such program."
