I called and he said the crew would come out and I wouldn't even know they had been here. That's exactly what happened. I went to the mailbox and I had an invoice. I didn't even know they had been here so I assume all was clean.

They do fine work and they are very nice and we will use them again.

I think their price is fair. I would like it if it was even cheaper, but I think it is a fair price. I think he does a good job. He is able to come out pretty quickly when I call him.

Very pleasant experience. The individual who provided the estimate performed a thorough review of our gutters and roof, taking multiple pictures that he showed me after coming off the roof. We discussed variety of different options. We made a decision and within a few days the team came out to complete the repair.

The experience was good. They were honest and upfront. They gave us some good suggestions. We liked them.

They were responsive and estimated in advance what the cost would be. When they finished their costs were within their estimate so we would use them again.

The contractor told me they could come out to the house without me present to estimate. They came out but then called to say I needed to be present...I never hear back from them after that.

They were very thorough and every detail that you want them to explore, they do. Their workmanship was superior. Everything they promised, they delivered, and more. They even helped with insurance, as well.

They did an excellent job once they started. Initially had a hard time getting them to return my calls and setting up an appointment time. The quality of work was excellent and they hauled away all the trash. Boards were removed from the deck to do the grading and re-installed perfectly. Based on the workers performance, I would use them again.

They cleaned the gutters while I was away. They did a good job because I couldn't even tell they had been there.

I received an accurate estimate over the phone. The work was done while I was at work and a bill was left at my door. If it weren't for the bill I wouldn't have known they were there...there was no mess. My gutters now work great.

Excellent. Told us when they were coming, what needed to be done in advance and then showed up on time and completed their work - leaving no trace that they had ever been there. The connections are complete and secure and the ground around where they worked was smoothed out and left clean.

He came out and replaced all the gutters. He was very professional and had a crew chief and workers. I was pleased. However, the pricing was in middle. I would use their services again, if needed.

Overall, we were very happy with their service.

I have been using his service for at least three or four years. I am very happy with the result. He is prompt and comes out when he says he will come. He will contact you if there is ever a condition that would change the time. For example, if the there were weather conditions that would interrupt his work. I have never had to call him to schedule the next appointment becuase he is very proactive about it.

I have used him for that work every fall for the last several years. He regularly checks back each year to see if he could put us his schedule. He contacts us to find out when we could see him. He has definitely done a fine job.

I paid about $175 for them to come by and check my roof, which is what I wanted them to do and also to clean my gutters. They are on Angie’s list and there was a special offer. They seemed to be proficient in what they were doing. They came by and I talked to them. The guy called me ahead of time and he did everything I asked him to do. My overall experience with them was satisfactory. The price was as per the coupon. I suppose the price was reasonable. That’s why I went ahead with it. I would probably use their services again.

I solicited three quotes for the job. David Hazen fell right in the middle price wise. The highest price option was far too high pressure. Their quote was double what #2 (Hazen) was quoting and they sent multiple unsolicited people to the house after the original solicited call to basically try and convince us that everyone else was going to do a poor job with poor materials. It was all fear, uncertainty and doubt. The lowest quote came to our home when we weren't there, didn't really ask us what we wanted other than my call to say that we wanted everything redone, stuffed a folder in our door when they were done and never called us back. With the Hazen Group, one of their project managers (not a sales person), Brian, arranged a time to meet me at our home and did a quick measurement while discussing what we wanted done. He responded with a quote that was around what we were expecting for the job and was completely low pressure and easy to deal with. I expressed that we had self installed harder board siding and I had only seen aluminum soffit in combination before. I'm a particular person and was concerned that from what I had seen of vinyl products that it would end up looking too flimsy (this was partly the result of quote #1 showing us a high-end vinyl solution that they assured us no one else had to offer). Brian arranged another meeting and came to our home to demonstrate the available materials. Low and behold, one of the options that he showed us was the same more rigid vinyl soffiting from quote #1 and it was available for not much more than the original quote considering all the work we needed done. Not only that, but they used the same high quality screw-in gutter hangers, as opposed to nails, that quote #1 also claimed was exclusive to their install. If this wasn't enough, I think Brian keyed in to my perfectionist nature and mentioned that they had an installer who was a bit on the slower side compared to others, but did incredibly meticulous work. He suggested that he would be a good match to our job. I was sold. Boyd and his crew showed up on time and were extremely friendly and courteous. Their work was exactly as advertised. They took a little more time than most I assume. I've never had anyone else do this sort of work so I could not compare, nor did I really care. Quality was my #1 concern and it was top notch. Compared to some of the other homes in my neighborhood who have had similar work done in the past few years, our home looked incredible when complete. At one point, Boyd and I were discussing how he should handle any cedar fascia he encountered that was somewhat rotted or broken up. I told him to use his professional opinion as a guide and that this is a home that I planned on living in for 30+ years. He responded to say that he would treat it as if it was his own. He did, and he didn't overcharge me for it either. At my house, we are a do-it-yourself kind of people. I've always been reluctant to hire out any work done due to quality concerns and a fear of being gouged in the pocket book. I am so glad that we hired David Hazen Group to do this project. The entire process from beginning to end was a good experience. We have future roofing and chimney restoration work on our list of things to get done over the next few years and I won't hesitate to give them a call for that work.

Work performed as quoted. Some additional wood trim repair added at reasonable cost. Good experience; cleaned up after themselves.
