It was fine. They did a really good job. They were very nice and professional. They came out when they said they would. We have used them for years.

It turned out fine and they did what I needed them to do . They price was reasonable . When they originally installed the gutter they didn't install it right, but they came back out and fixed it right away.

It was all completed correctly. Roofers made a mess of my siding but David Hazen replaced the siding completely and fixed it, so I have no complaints with them.

David Hazen Group checked out our roof. We were very pleased. They're professional, they'll call if they can't make it. They do a lot of things besides roof, they do gutters and a bunch of other things.

I had a downspout that was too long. I called on a Friday & they stopped by the following morning to take a look. They determined that the downspout just needed to be trimmed a few inches. They did that on the spot & only charged me for a service call. I am happy with their prompt service.

Because of a problem with repair equipment, they had to extend the repairs to a 2nd day and made it up to us by replacing another downspout for free, something I had not asked for. They also went around the house re-securing existing gutters and downspouts, at no additional charge. Great work. Cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend.

He never called or emailed me with the estimate. I hired another handyman

During the hail storm we noticed our gutters started to overflow due to the storm knocking branches, bark, etc. into our gutters. We called David Hazen and he told us he would be out by Friday to clean out our gutters. They came out on Friday and thoroughly cleaned our gutters, reset our gutter screens, and did a fantastic job of cleaning up after themselves. Our pation in the back was covered with debris from the storm and after they cleaned up what they got out of the gutters they also cleaned our patio of all debris. They also did a great job cleaning up after they cleaned the other gutters. We found no mess or evidence that they had been at our house other than the gutters were clean, they did a great job.

The repair and service went well. The employee was communicative and prompt, and I'm pleased with the quality of the repair. The employee finished the work in a little over an hour, and I provided him with a check. The customer service experience after the fact, however, was extremely disappointing. Subsequent to the visit I received numerous text messages on my personal phone from the employee indicating that he was no longer working for the provider, and making accusations about his employer which, if true, would definitely cause me to take my business elsewhere in the future. I contacted David Hazen Group and was able to determine that the employee was in fact no longer employed there, and was eventually able to determine that they had not received my check (I had to reissue payment). Over the past 10 days I've received numerous (very unsolicited) additional texts from the employee with significant accusations about his employer. Overall, it has not been a pleasant experience. I've used David Hazen Group in the past, and have been very pleased with their work. This most recent experience, however, has left me a little bit jaded. That being said, I would use them again. In the spirit of full disclosure, however, Angie's List provides a button only to indicate whether I would personally use them again, not whether I would wholeheartedly recommend them to a friend. Those are completely different questions. At this point, I would hesitate to recommend them to a friend until I've had another positive experience.

They gave an estimate and we agreed. They came and did cleaning and repairs, left no trash behind, and were all pleasant.

They did the roofing first. It went fast. The painting took longer, but the work was done well. I also had an extra pair of shutters installed on the side, which Duane did himself. He took great pains to match my shutter colors to my front door, so the house looks custom. I was pleased with the work done and with Duane's thoroughness in checking every detail. I would certainly use them again for any work I needed done.

The job went well. I have new gutters and no more water in my basement.

The company was quick to come out and give me an estimate and everyone I worked with was courteous. I ended up choosing a different contractor because of a better price.

We were having problems with leaf accumulation in our gutters. As I have gotten older I was not comfortable having to climb a ladder to clean them out. I called three contractors to make recommendations on gutter covers. I found David was very professional and competative, even though he found some additional work that needed to be done, and which I approved. We have now had two fall seasons and two seasons of falling maple seeds and falling leaves, and the gutter covers are working as they should. We are very happy. I strongly recommend him.

One individual came to do the work. He matched the varnish exactly and sanded around all of the detail within the wood. He was meticulous with the prep work. He was timely.

The work was completed but there were a couple of mis-fires on communication between the office, the lead person for the job and the guy that actually did the work. They also invoiced for the job very quickly and before the job was completed. Because of the mis-communication about whether the work was done or not it made me consider a stop payment on the check. Overall, satisfactory but they need to improve their communication process.

After an initial email glitch was resolved, they were very responsive. They were out to provide an estimate quickly, and their estimate was exactly the same as another estimate I had received for the work (and the same as my insurance adjustor had listed). I chose DH Group because they were more responsive than the other company I contacted, and because their rep was very clear and helpful during his visit. They provided two estimates -- one for a standard repair and a higher one in case the damage required also replacing the backing board that the gutter is anchored to. Thankfully the job only required the lower estimate, but it was good to have both up front to avoid surprises (and suspicion). The work was completed sooner than I expected, and everything looks good.

I've been using David Hazen Group for a couple years now for a new roof, new sky lights, new replacement bay window, new complete gutter system as well as for repairing, painting and winterizing all older wood windows on my house. They are currently in process of completing another job of repairing, refinishing and painting my great room ceiling. They have awesome workers. The painter has always been the same guy and very detailed oriented, never cutting corners or hurrying a job. There name is on the product so they make sure it is done right. This company wants you to come back to do business with them and it shows. I do get quotes from other company's for projects and David Hazen Group is always competitive. Highly recommend! The experience was fine; they came in, did it and then cleaned up. They did everything well and got it done quickly.

The leak is fixed so that is a good thing. They were prompt to come out and give an estimate and then to come out and doing the work.

At first I was not overly pleased with the communication of this company. When I initially called, I was told a project manager would call me to schedule. I did not hear from the project manager for a couple of days. He did stop by within the next week to look at the gutter. Instead of emailing, which would have been quicker, I was sent an estimate which I had to sign and send back in. This process seemed to take a long time. About 2 weeks after my initial call, I called again, as we were putting out house on the market and needed the repair done. I was told it was being processed and I would be hearing from the project manager. Almost another week went by before I heard anything. The crew just showed up on day. Once here, the were very friendly, informative and helpful. They hauled away the tree branches they cut down and gave me advice on an unrelated matter. They were very knowledgable and professional. I would use them again.

Very responsive in getting estimate made. Much longer than promised between initial deposit and time actual work done. Promise was a couple weeks, actual was 8 weeks. When homeowner followed up after 4 weeks, he was told they would call before coming. Did so but with very short notice. Meant that homeowner was on pre-scheduled trip and could not supervise work directly. While vast majority of work was done satisfactorily, there were a few fine details that homeowner would have suggested had he been able to be there.
