Called for estimate on work. Took a few weeks before they were able to come out however that is due to their full schedule. They got me on the schedule for approx 4 weeks later. Crew came out and they were efficient and professional. Replaced wood trim with better quality than what I had. Caulked as required, I asked the crew if they would paint same day. He said no that caulk needed to completely dry in order for paint to last. They came back 2 days later and painted. After each day I was impressed at quality of work but they cleaned up completely. There were no wood trimmings, sawdust, no trash! First time I have not had to clean up after a work crew. Thanks for a great job!

They did a very good job. There were a few things that needed to be corrected, and I called them and they came back the next day to fix it. Then we had a heavy rain that revealed some more problems, but they came right out and corrected everything.

Quote was thorough and professional, but at end of day, liked another company better. Time will tell if I made the correct choice.

Duane came out and was truly professional. estimates were fair which the insurance company agreed to after he worked with them. work was done on time and looks great. a couple of screens were accidently cut by falling shingles but he promptly repaired all of them. The work was really nice and the workers were very professional and polite. I will call them back for some masonry repairs I need done in the future.

Went great. They were out first thing and fixed all the repairs. Sent my invoice ASAP and they were GREAT to work with. Will definitely use them again.

They were great. They were real busy because of some bad weather recently but they fit it in as it was a smaller job. They came out for the estimate puncually, and were there a couple days later to complete the work. The office staff (Tammy) was excellent and they always stayed in comtact throughout the process. The guys cleaned up after they left as well. I would highly recommend them for this type of work.

Duane, can out to meet with me and my neighbor for major work needed on our duplex. He was on time and gave us a detailed written quote 4 days after our initial visit. It was competetively priced and due to the fact they could do all the work and that meant only dealing with one person, we chose David Hazen. Duane came out and did a thourough walk through one more time detailing what exactly his guys would do and about the timing of it all. We did much work and so all work had to be done in order, to ensure quality. Duane called/text me 5 time throughout the work to ensure we were up to date on the work and asked if we had any issues. we did have questions/concerns on some mortar work in two areas as well as an issue with the gutter repair. After eash case, Duane's guys returned and addressed our issues within 1 or 2 days. They went above and beyond in repairing window screens and 10 window sills that were in OK shape. Duane said he didnt want to to all the work to get the place look so good and have those ok looking sills, so they just did them. Upon conclusion of the work, we did a 20 min walk through of all the work and he pointed out everything they did and made sure we knew if anything occurrs they would be back out to fix it, if it was do to their work. overall, we were very pleased. Duane did a great job of having to manage between me and my neighbor. I would recommend David Hazen for any small or large jobs you have for your home. Very competetive in price and great work.

I submitted the estimate request online. I wasn't sure if it had gone through, but then I got the actual estimate within a week, which was great. It was a reasonable estimate, but I decided to use another company who was also doing some other housing repairs for us.

It was outstanding! They found a lot of problems with the soffits and gutter boards and the men from David Hazen Group LLC were excellent carpenters. They put on the new gutters for us, which was done beautifully. They also primed and painted the new boards, which was included in the price cost. They then painted the whole house with no extra charge; which saved us a lot of money. They were just phenomenal and their cleanup was immaculate. They picked up every screw, piece of wood and just did an outstanding job! They were also very careful of our landscaping. I wished Angie's List would let me give them an A+!

After the adjustor visit we contacted two firms to get an estimate of the damage. Both companies were reputable and well rated but David is local and they had performed work for us previously. Mr. Ward was prompt and very accommodating in scheduling the work which was extensive and involved various crews. We asked them to work around a family gathering which they did. Each part of the job was completed when it was scheduled. Each crew was polite and quick to inform us of any "bumps in the road they encountered." While landscaping suffered some minor damage, they were very careful to keep it to a minimum. Each clean up was quite satisfactory. There was a small issue about the gutter guard installation but it was quickly addressed. All in all, it was a big job well done in a timely and professional fashion. We would not hesitate to call David Hazen Group again.

I think overall they were a pretty good company, the guy who came out to install the windows was excellent but price wise, they were certainly competitive. I didn't necessary go with the lowest bidder but I did compete their prices so they were kind of reasonable, they were very courteous but it took a while to start on time. They informed me that the reason why they were having difficulty in starting the job on time was because they had another job that was running late. But they were always keeping me informed, which didn't really bother me when it came for the time to install the windows. The quality of their work was fantastic.

I had waited since May to get the work underway. After two delays, the workers showed up as scheduled. One crew did the wood replacement and sealing. They told me another would come the next day to paint after the seal had dried. Tony showed up exactly as promised and completed the job. The quality of work and the overall experience with Hazen Group was well worth the wait. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks!

After two delays, the work crew showed up as scheduled to replace copper awning. The workers were truly perfectionists in completing this job. The crew worked diligently to insure the completed project was superior to what was there before. It looks awesome and they cleaned up all debris from the installation. It was well worth the wait to have this quality of work. I would use them again for any home project in the future.

While The David Hazen Group is not the least expensive company to go with, we trust them completely. This time, because so many homes were damaged and had internal leaks, we had to wait our turn--something we do not regret. We can always wait for the best! They arrived the day and time they were expected, they did not waste time and got right to work. One of the greatest assets for the Hazen Group is their crew, these men are not sub-contractors, they work specifically for Hazen. They can anticipate each other's moves and they work as a team. Supervisors are always there or checking-in multiple times each day they were on site. They removed the old shingles and tar paper and cleaned up as they progressed--they constantly checked for debris--roofing can be messy. The new roof went on smoothly and looks fantastic, as we expected. Duane is a great supervisor for Hazen, he kept us informed, worked with our insurance company, and made a big investment in our property easier. He knows the construction industry! We will definitely use The Hazen Group again and we proudly and confidently recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

They provided a quote in a timely manner and worked with me as I sorted through what I needed to do. The schedule was out a couple of weeks, which was just fine in this case, as it coincided with my schedule. We did the color choices by mail and e-mail. Tammy at the office is nice and my calls were returned in good time. They kept me informed when the schedule moved and notified me when it was firmed up. On the day scheduled, the crew arrived on time and got to work immediately. The job site manager walked me around the house and went over the requirements. He also checked all of the fascia and went over recommended repairs that were outside of the scope of the original quote. He was conscientious, and quality driven. The job was done in a good time, and with outstanding quality and a few extras. It was a great experience and have this company on my list to use again.

Seemed kind of expensive but I didn't put a lot of time researching other prices. Hasn't continued to leak so that's what I was looking for ultimately.

1. Had to call a few times about when they were to start even though contract indicated 7-1 start (subject to weather) . Weather was not issue-- another job being completed caused delay in starting. 2. Had to call a few additional times about mason coming and work to be done. My error was not insisting all details were in contract because Duane Ward (contract writer who estimated job) complained about "ALL" the work AND that he did not quote for that much work. $1150 was cost of masonry work and less than one bag of cement was used, it took less than 11 hours to do, and overall time was 2 weeks to complete. 3. I then had to call to get work sealed and Duane complained about the cost to do all the masonry and that the contract only covered sealing the 20 sq ft of repair on the east side of the garage. He quoted $750 to do the whole thing-- no thanks! 4. Team that installed siding did outstanding job. Duane did an outstanding job on selecting the replacement siding at it matches perfectly. Installers did not remove old fan insulation as it was in excellent condition. They did add additional 1/4" fanfold insulation before installing siding. No financial adjustment was given for not removing existing insulation. 5. Fascia was installed over existing (contract called for removal of old). I agreed to this change but not financial adjustment was given. Quality of new installation was outstanding! 6. I remove the wrap on 3 windows on west side of house first floor. i asked Duane during estimating about removing 3 sets of wood shutters that were built into the stone siding. He indicated that he preferred this over doing it after Hazen Group did work. When the mason showed up he had a fit and called Duane because there was no wood installed to hold the cement that was needed to be placed around the windows. Duane came on site and was also upset with the problem and made a point of it not being in the contract. he did acknowledge our prior conversation and his siding team put up scraps of wood and the mason did repair the sides of the 3 windows. The work was done with NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!. 7. The mason did a poor job or clean up and left the water running. The siding/wrap team did an excellent clean up job. 8. The mason did little or no communication and left me and my wife with the feeling that he did not want to be there and that he didn't want the work! In contract, the siding/wrap team did a good job of communicating. 9. David Hazen Group did complete all work and did give the 10% discount as advertized.

I did the work myself so I didn’t use them. They were okay and I had no problems. They came out when they said they would.

Very professional; and head painter was very warm and friendly. He also came back to un-stick a window that accidentally was painted shut. And he did this in a timely manner. Trim work looks great, and the painters were very neat thruout the project.

This water problem has been a problem since we have owned the house for 30 years. Others have tried to fix it. It gets better for awhile and then the same leaks occur. This company did some "creative carpentry" to reconfigure where the 3 valleys come together. Some thought went into the problem (how often does that happen?). They changed their original plans to something better. In addition, they replaced some trim, ice shield, & flashing. No one had even addressed the problem like they did. Over all we are quite pleased. We have rain since & no leaks.

Their price is a little higher compare to the company that we had selected; I would give them a grade of "A" even though we've not selected them because we felt like that we can get the service that we needed at the lower price; their quote was not that much out of line and they were professional. What I dislike to them is that they showed up without a definite appointment time instead of hearing from them.

David's team came to the door to inform me that they would be working on the roof, so that I wouldn't be surprised by the noise. They proceded to clean the gutters and remove the debris from any patio areas. They did a thorough job and we were very pleased.

I had an excellent experience. Their prices were fair.
