I used the deal about a month after I purchased it. There were additional costs. There were additional cost for additional feet. It was another sixty four dollars for the additional footage. I have not had a chance to contact them yet. They did the service. I would not use them in the future.

It is very difficult to communicate with them. They do not let you know when they will come for the job. They came without notice (might be too short notice) and they wrapped up in 15 min. I do not think it was not worth calling them for service.

Fast and professional. Good job. Awaiting visit to generate est. on new work.

Great---they did it when they said they would and did a great job. Very reasonable and great work.

Since I can't climb a ladder to check the work, I assume it was well done. This was arranged through our neighborhood. I am not sure about the date and cost as I did not keep receipt.

I sent email requests, via the Angie's List link, for quotes to two suppliers. Only Hazen responded. I was surprised by the quote and hadn't heard of the type of guards. I asked for references. They sent me a handful, plenty. I drove by one. Looked okay. I hate getting out on the edge of our second story roof. It's not steep, I'm just really not fond of heights. However, to make a $2000 decision I'll get on the roof. I found that I only have problems with our current guards in two places - two 4 Ft sections. To delay that expense I'll get up there with my ladder and fix them, wobbly knees, pounding heart and all. I was contacted twice after they sent the references. in the second contact, a phone call, I told the woman, (professional and helpful) that the cost had inspired me to look more deeply into it and it was within my abilities to fix it.

They didn't give an estimate and I can't get back to them. I gave them enough time to get back with me. It's kind of frustrating because I need the work done.

Every aspect of the painting work went smoothly. Tony did a terrific job on a beautiful day.

Called and left two messages before being contacted by a woman in their organization. She was very pleasant and said that a chimney repair person (mason) would be calling to set an appointment. Its been several days and not a call from anyone. Since then I have had 2 contractors out and gotten estimates. I did select a service provider and have the work scheduled. Not impressed with the communication and follow up with this company.

Fabulous. Not only did they do great work on everything, they were responsive, answered questions and explained everything. Helped me trouble shoot problems, and were always available when I had a problem (not related to their work but to additional things I had to add on during severe storms and water issues). Their workers were friendly and professional- and they got the job done in a timely manner even with all the rain we have had this year. Very satisfied/strongly recommend!

On the 27th of July I called and left a voicemail for someone to give me a call. On the 28th I still had not heard anything from the company so I made another call. This time reaching a woman named Kelly I asked her when someone would be returning my call so that we could set up an appointment to get a quote on the job I need completed. She then proceeded to inform me that it can take up to 10 days to get a return call.I then called another company leaving a voicemail, and got a return call 15 minutes later. I do not feel waiting for a return call for 10 days is reasonable.

I contacted this firm in early June to get an estimate for a roof repair; I had some water leaking into the corner of my kitchen. Initially I got a fairly prompt response, though I did have to call back twice to actually get somebody to my house. They initially surveyed the problem and concluded they needed to come back and perform extensive water testing to determine the source of the leak. The return visit was delayed due to the wet weather...they stated they needed the roof to be dry to do the testing. When they finally returned about 3-4 weeks later (after multiple calls by myself), they decided they did not need to do water testing at all. Instead they reccomended replacing an entire section of my roof. And gave me an informal quote for $4500. Infuriating. I asked them to send me a formal quote via email and they agreed to do within about 3 business days. They never did so. One week later I employed another contractor; the repair was completed in 3 days for one third of the above cost. I contacted the firm and told them that, in the future, if they were too busy to accept work, then they should do the courtesy of informing potential clients of this fact. Nobody likes their time wasted. To their credit, they admitted they did a poor job handling my request. I would never use this company again and would discourage anybody from contacting them.

Awful service, missed appointments for estimate and then refused to refund the money.

It was fine. It worked out well. They did what they were supposed to do at a reasonable price. So I was happy with them.

In response to the provider's remark, I MOST DEFINITELY told them that I had urgent needs to clean my gutters, as the heavy rain was causing water to run over my gutters that needed cleaning. I told them that the primary need was cleaning and secondary need was repairing. Perhaps whoever wrote this response should go back and read the call notes, if any were taken, as I am 100% certain. The excess rain going to my foundation, instead of away from my house, caused my basement to flood three weeks after I bought this deal. Had they told me that it would have been a month or later for service, I would have cancelled at once. There is no excuse for poor communication, especially when we pay up front with a deal and when providers know that they will be reviewed by people that join Angie's List in order to choose good providers and keep them accountable. After the poor service I was given, it is completely offensive to come back here and see that they have put the blame on me. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

After purchasing the work for "roof maintenance, gutter cleaning and repair" on June 28 it has been a journey. After conversing via email I kept being told they were backed up.I was told that they would get to me the following week. That was July 1. On July 13 I followed up again to ask about work to be done. I was told (after 10 min of investigation) that the work order was closed and work performed on July 2. Why was I not informed? Why was there no follow up? Because you already paid". I thought this was odd. I was told a tennis ball was found in gutter and that solved problem. This was not possible. One issue was a gutter corner on front of house was leaking the other issue was water flowing between gutter and hous in back of house.so Imagain called. Haven sent people out and said they cleaned the gutters but admitted they were pretty clean.This is because I NEVER ASKED TO HAVE GUTTERS CLEANED!! So they are now standing in driveway and inform me that they don't do roof repair or can they fix corner of gutter.......but THAT IS WHAT DEAL SAID YOU DO! So I am now paying $249 dollars to have one gutter corner mitre fixed. They guys at my house said that would cost $125. They also admitted this was not the house where they found the tennis ball!!! I want a refund.

Very well, the previous provider has done a very poor job leaving mortar smeared all over the place. David Hazen came out, cleaned a lot of it up and replaced it. It looks much nicer.

Very pleased with all aspects - the office seems to be well run and they quoted the work quickly. Received a written quote that clearly explained the job (2 other contractors I had just gave a figure) - Appreciate the good communication and responsiveness from their foreman, Jason. I was prepared to wait several weeks, but was amazed they were able to get the job done in just a few days after approval. I'm pleased with how the work looks and the drains were done as promised and seem to be working correctly.

I purchased a "deal" for gutter cleaning from this company on June 5, 2015. The email stated I would be contacted no later than the following Tuesday. I was never contacted to let me know when they were coming to do the job. On Monday June 22, 2105 I heard someone walking on my roof. I went outside and they were cleaning one of the front gutters. I received no phone call that they were there or that they were coming and no one rang the doorbell to let me know they would be doing the work. When I went outside to see what was going on they just stated they were there to clean the gutters. I went back inside and when I went out a half and hour later they were already gone. I knew there was no way they could have done our whole house in that amount of time because we have a 2 story home with a walk out basement. When my husband got home he checked the gutters on the back and they had not touched anything on the back of the house. We called the company and they said they would get a crew out as soon as possible. On Thursday June 25, 2015 I came home to find that there was gutter crud all over my windows, my patio furniture and the deck on the back of the house. Proof that they did not clean the gutters on the back of the house the first time because if they did I would not have come home to a mess. We once again called to complain. They wanted to come out and try to rectify the situation but after spending all of Saturday morning cleaning up their mess we will not be having them come back to our house. When I hire a company to do a job I expect them to make my life easier and not harder by fixing their mistakes.

Service went well. Did a good job cleaning the gutters and inspecting.

He showed up early and completed great work. I am very happy with the result.

I took advantage of a Angie's list special . I am so glad I did . The workers were friendly, professional and quick. They let me know what they were doing and why. I am lucky the gutters were not as bad as I thought, but glad they have been cleaned. I would use this company again.

We found the estimate from the David Hazen Group to be clear and more explicit than some of the others, and indeed, the price we paid was very close to the estimate. The carpenter and painter both seemed to do good work. We are satisfied with the result.

Tony performed all of the painting. He was on time, worked very professionally, and performed very high quality work. We were most pleased as his work was way beyond expectations.

The painters were the best part of the David Hazen group experience.
