The representative spent time explaining everything he did (and we had five different things!), and also told us how to maintain the things he did fix in order to minimize future maintenance issues. It is really hard to find good tradesmen these days and with that backdrop we can recommend L E ISLEY & SONS INC. without reservation.

The overall experience was very positive. The plumber was able to come on the very same day that I called. The work was done efficiently, and I believe effectively. Whereas the back up pump would not previously have been able to drain the well in an emergency, it now will be able to do this.

We have used them many times before. Their price is always reasonable. They come when they say they are going to.

Nate was personable, professional, and competent. He explained the problem and showed me why the problem occured. I could not have been more pleased with the service and costs involved.

Nate was on time, very polite and very efficient. He didn't waste time talking but got right down to the matter at hand, used the power auger and cut and spliced (?) the pipe to fix the leak under the sink. The work was done very neatly without any mess. The company was very accommodating to my time needs since I had to run my kids to and from school and needed the work done between those times. They were ready to send someone out when I called. The person on the phone was easy to talk to and we are extremely pleased with the work. We will be recommending this company to friends and will definitely return to them for any future plumbing needs.

THE PLUMBER THAT CAME TO OUR HOUSE WAS ON TIME. HE WAS VERY NICE, VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING.

Had a good experience. Called about 12:30 PM and he arrived at about 3:30 PM. Opened the pipe, a nice guy. Don't know about the price. It seemed fair and we did get an Angie's List discount. Would have been $135.

Work was done quickly, on time, and with good quality. Workers were willing to explain everything and answer all questions. When I received the bill, it was based on the "worst case", $300 more than the actual time spent. A second bill arrived with an extra 30 minutes still added because proper time was not kept. When I called to correct this problem, Beth Isley made me feel like I was trying to steal from them and although she agreed to the correct number of hours, she hung up on me without properly ending the call.

This is the first time we used Isley and I would definitely use them again. We got one other quote and it was 35% higher than Isley. We called on a Saturday morning with a leaky water heater. I expected it to be Monday or Tuesday before they could schedule the work, but they came out the same day. It took two men and one of them was there for over two hours. They hauled the old water heater out of the basement and left the area clean. They were polite and professional. The new water heater is working just fine.

Isley was prompt, professional and efficient. Very good work.

Mike the plumber was outstanding. He was on time, very polite, & made every effort to complete the job in the most efficient & cost effective way.

They came on time and with short notice, as I was leaving town. They didn't push a very expensive top of the line garbage disposal, but one that was good value for money and would perform over time.

We've worked with them for about 50 years and we've always been pleased. They come when we ask and we've never had any problems. We'll continue to use them.

Original call was not returned after speaking with someone who promised to call back. Second call was more productive. The repairman was on-time, and extremely polite. He explained to us in ''non-plumber'' terms what had caused the damage, and to prevent this from happening again in the future. We're 1st-time homeowners, and greatly appreciated the time he took to educate us. Price was fair, and parts were kept right on the truck. Will easily call this company again if we need them!

The workman who showed up actually advised AGAINST replacement of the existing faucet and was able to repair (for a much lower total cost). Was also willing to conduct a minor toilet repair without a separate appointment. Wonderful experience.

They turn the hot water heat on high when they first install it and they had not told her to turn it down. So that is important to inform people they need to do that later. They were fine. Today they came and I had some sprayers that needed unclogged. They detached the drain in the sink and told me what to do to prevent future problems. They gave me some good tips and I would definitely use them again.

There was water between the furnace and water heater in the garage. The gentleman checked and said there wasn't any problem with the appliances. He asked if he could check the attic. He went up and said he thought it was the flashing around the chimney because the insulation was wet. He then asked if he could borrow a ladder to check the roof and proceeded to get on the roof to verify it was the flashing around the chimney. He then recommended a few companies that could fix the problem and he only charged me $25.

On time, very polite and did not replace anything that did not need repair even though I thought they might. Did not need to cut hole in wall to replace tub drain though I thought he would have to. Thoughtful approach to plumbing!
