After calling the week prior, Isley gave me a 4-hour window to be at my house. Luckily, my wife was able to work from home that day, as we had cabinets being installed the same day. The guys came in, got a description of what was needed and put together a quote. The quote was about $150 more than I expected, as the material prices were highly marked up. My wife's impression of the guys was less than good, as they seemed high on themselves and in a push to get the job. They were nice enough to wait 10 minutes for me to get home and barely wanted to review the prices in the quote, pushing me to make a decision on the final total. After agreeing to have the work done, the two employees were less than cordial working with me and each other, often using foul language during their toil. I'm no saint, but I expect much better behavior from a contractor. After giving the impression that they were put out by having to work on an old house with closed walls, they finished the work and left the site clean. The resulting work does look fine, but they didn't bother to do much other than glop some clear silicone over the old hole through the wall where the gas line used to run. (I'll be returning to that site to put in some polyurethane foam to insulated the hole.) This was the third time that I've used Isley, and while the first two times were A or B experiences, this one was not. The employees seem to be pushy towards my wife and me, as well as each other.

Company representatives were polite on the phone and in person. They were able to schedule the service call around my needs. The service tech quickly assessed the problem, provided an written cost estimate and comlpleted the replacement of my primary sump pump. The work was completed quickly and the area was left as clean or better than it was prior to the job.

After having an Isley representative come to our condo and walk through it with me, noting all the needed repairs enumerated by our home inspection service (done prior to our purchasing the condo), Isley sent to us within 3 days an estimate for all repairs . We signed the contract and the plumbers arrived on time on the agreed-upon day with all materials needed to do multiple repairs. They repaired a whirlpool faucet, replaced a tub drain in two bath tubs, replaced an outside spigot and burst pipe in the crawl space which led to that faucet, repaired another outside spigot, reset a toilet, and capped off a leaking copper pipe which was not yet connected to a dishwasher. They worked hard, completed all the repairs, and we were very pleased with the results. We will use them again, for sure.

They are professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of their work is good and I have satisfied with their service.

They come promptly. You don't have to wait on them. They are very courteous and knowledgeable. They take care of the problem very quickly. They're just really a great company. We use them quite a bit.

I contacted Isley via email the evening of the 14th and had a functioning kitchen faucet by the morning of the 15th. I was at work at the time the job was done and was under the impression (from the person who contacted me in the morning) that they would call me with an estimate. I got a call, however the job was already completed. Except for this minor communication problem their work was excellent.

They always come right away and I tend to get the same repair person every time. That is helpful because he knows what he had done the previous time that he was here. They are available on the phone as well. I spoke to their service manager a week ago because we were having water in our yard from something that we couldn?t determine - it could have been the irrigation system that they had dug or my husband had dug - and he helped me out with that over the phone.

I used to work for L E Isley & Sons. I was previously employed with them for 27 years. With them, I know that I?ve got somebody who I can trust. They work well on my well pumps.

They came out when they said they would come. They did a great job and it was priced comparatively.

They were very responsive when I called. They were even able to make an appointment for that same day. They called before they left to come out to my home. The guy who came out seemed to be very knowledgeable and friendly. I had another problem pop up the following day and he was willing to come right back out and repair that as well.

They came out and did what I asked them to do. They stuck to the price that they originally estimated.

They were very professional and knowledgeable about our problem. Their response time was super and their price was competitive with others we looked into. We will call on them again if we have more plumbing problems.

Great! Plumbers called an hour before scheduled appointment and asked to come early! Quickly assessed the issue and resolved to a course of action. Confirmed that the line was clear and flowing by watching water emerge in municipal storm/runoff pit. Replaced an existing elbow with a tee to allow installation of a clean-out for future work. Work was quick. Workers were pleasant. Will use again.

He was very good, efficient, and the price was comparable. We would use them again.

They were able to come on a Saturday about noon and had the job done by 1pm. I am pleased with the work.

Besides being 45 minutes late the service was great. I called yesterday afternoon and they had someone out this morning. He was there about an hour to evaluate the problems, he gave me a price estimate on the spot and got to work. He also took a look at our back up sump pump and showed me how to check in and maintain it.

They were able to take care of the problem. They did an outstanding job at 1/3 price of other companies.

Experience went very well beginning with the gal who answered the phone..she provided a synopsis of how they worked and made an appointment for us. She was very pleasant and knowledgable on the phone.Our service person, Nate, called ahead, quoted the job, and fixed the faucet on the spot. Nate was professional and completed the job...no playing around. Everything happened according to the information we had been given on the phone.

Our tub and bathroom sink started draining slowly. After several attempts to fix it myself (plunging, removing and cleaning the trap, snaking, etc.), we finally researched Angie's List and decided to call Isley and Sons. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. We called at noon and Dave the plumber was at our door before four, as promised. Dave was personable, knowledgeable and competent. After hearing about the trouble we had and my futile do-it-yourself remedies, Dave correctly accessed that the drain leading to the basement was clogged. He was done clearing the drain in less than an hour and the water flows perfectly in the sink and the tub. My wife no longer hates me and I have stopped brushing my teeth in the bathtub. Life is good. The quoted price was $155 and with Angie's List coupon, we paid $140.

They let me use my Angie's List coupon even on the service call to diagnose the problem. They had no knowledge of whether I would use them to do the job or not. Their price was much more reasonable than the other estimate I got. Thank you.

We needed someone to go into the crawl space to check on pipes. Nate and his assistant arrived to check the pipes and give us an estimate. They were right on time and very friendly. We did indeed have a leak and they explained the situation to me in detail and described what they would need to do. They fixed it in under an hour and to our complete satisfaction.

I REALIZED THE SILCOCK DID NOT WORK SO I CALLED ISLEY ON ABOUT TUES. 5/6 AND REQUESTED A PLUMBER FOR FRI 5/9 AFTERNOON. I WAS GIVEN A MAX. ESTIMATE IF THE UNIT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE PLUMBER ARRIVED AS REQUESTED, LOOKED AT THE PROBLEM AND INFORMED ME THAT THE UNIT COULD BE REBUILT AT LESS THAN HALF THE COST OF REPLACEMENT. HE COMPLETED THE JOB AND TESTED EVERYTHING BEFORE HEF LEFT.

They were very courteous, cleaned up after the work was completed, and the price was reasonable.
