We had used them before and had no problems. But the second time we got a plumber we did not care for. He just acted like we had done something wrong to our equipment. He just had a bad attitude and he was not professional at all. We requested a different individual for the next day?s work. The company was very professional and sent somebody else the next day.

Called in the morning for a late afternoon appt. They were able to send a service person at the time I needed. Repair was made and I was happy with the service.

I have only used them for plumbing jobs. The last time I used them, they charged me $80. They were really good. Once, there was a problem with the downstairs bathroom. It was enough to annoy me at night. They found out that it was just the positioning of the hose. The guy told me that the problem could be fixed by cutting 3 inches off the hose. He told me that either I could do the work myself or he could do the work and it would cost me $40. They are really awesome. I would trust them implicitly. I would use them again in the future.

When I called to see if they could do the job, they had someone out the next day. The guy that gave me the estimate was very friendly and was approachable with my many questions. I was at work when they did the job but you would have never known they were there because they cleaned up so well. That night I noticed a small leak and also my shower was spitting out something a little strange. He came back the next day to fix the leak and also installed a new part in my shower head. He only charged us for the part and not the labor. They truly went above and beyond and I would absolutely recommend them to others!

He wasn't trying to sell me anything, he told me not to get a certain water heater. The service man that was here wasn't pushing anything, they are great. He told me he would be out here between 2-5 o'clock and came 20 min to 3 and called 5 min before he came. He explained the whole system to me and told me what it was and told me how to drain it. He was very informative, the guy knows his stuff, he's been around for awhile. I would recommend him.

They were really prompt and did the work in a timely manner.

They were punctual and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. The job went very well.

Great! I called mid-morning and discussed options of repairing existing water heater (14 years old) or installing new. Given the size of our family and that I have two teenage daughters, the customer service advisor suggested we consider upgrading from a 50 gallon to an 80 gallon. He gave me an exact quote for the project and said they could do it yet that same day. After doing some research online, I decided to upgrade to the larger tank size. I called back w/ approval to go ahead and the advisor scheduled the installation for that same day. One plumber arrived promptly at the scheduled time. He worked to drain and disconnect the old water heater. Soon after, a second plumber arrived with the new water heater. They worked together to take out the old and bring in the new. They put down mats/covering on the stairs to protect our carpet. The utility room had an old water softener and salt tank that had been disconnected years ago. I asked if they could remove it for me while they were removing the water heater. They gladly did so. Great experience! Hot water!!!

I found I had no hot water Christmas Eve morning. Guests were here from out of state as well as out of the country. Fearful that I would have to go through the holidays icalled Elgin Water for a referral. I had used Elgin in the past so I trusted them completely. They recommended isley plumbing. I called and they could send a technician out that afternoon. Very pleased I said yes. The technician came, on time. He found the water heater needed the "reset" button pushed. He gave me several different scenarios on why I might need a new water heater (heater's age is 7 years). My complaint comes as he charged me $91.00 for resetting the water heater. I was quoted a $49.00 trip charge and their website even quotes that there will be no surprises when it comes to costs. This was a surprise. I paid the technician the money -$20.00 for being a member of Angie's List. I was so taken by this amount I called the company 12/27/2010 to talk about the price. I was told the person I needed to talk too was out for the holidays so I was to leave a voice mail message, i did. I have yet to receive a call back as the person operating the phones promised. I still have a water heater that needs the reset button pushed daily. This is very scary for me as this has never been an issue in the past.

I called L.E. Isley & Sons with an issue of a clogged kitchen drain. After trying to unclog it ourselves with no results, I called the morning of Jan. 10, 2011, around 9 am, and requested to have someone come out and clean the drain; with hopes that they would say that they could find time that same day. After taking all of my information, I was asked if the following day would be okay. I said that I was really hoping today would work as we have been unable to use the kitchen sink for a few days and with having 3 kids it was proving to be difficult not being able to use the sink. I was asked if I could hold on as she would check to see if it would be possible with the schedules already lined up for the day. Shortly, I was told that they could be there between 10 am & noon that morning. Asked for them to call me before showing. Less than an hour after my initial call with L.E. Isley, I received another phone call saying that someone was on there way. Nate & another gentleman showed up. They were quick & courteous during their work with an easy conversation during the entire time they were there. After snaking the draining, Nate filled up the sink to make sure that there it was draining properly. During this time, he noticed that there was some hard water build-up on my sink faucet aerator (I believe is what it is called) and went out to his van and came back in with a new one. At no cost to me, he replaced it for me while the sink was draining. I was pleased with the entire process, from the first phone call to watching them pull out of my driveway. Nate & the other gentleman were professional and respectful. I would definitely request to have them come back if we need their service in the future!

Asked for an estimate because of problems with leakage in a shower in the basement. Plumber came out and found that the ejection pump was unplugged. He plugged it back in and stayed for 30-45 minutes while we ran the shower and flushed the toilet to make sure that was the cause of the problem, which it was. Very clean and polite.

Our 7-year-old hot water heater started to leak at the bottom -- a telltale sign that it needed to be replaced. We called another plumbing company (Benjamin Franklin since it is part of our bundled service contract), but Benjamin Franklin would not give us an estimate over the phone. The following day, we were having 2nd thoughts about Benjamin Franklin (whom we'd had a not so great experience with before), so we called L.E. Isley first thing in the morning. Years ago, when we rented, we'd used L.E. Isley. Isley rejiggered its schedule to fit us in later that day, gave us a quote on the hot water heater and labor over the phone and discounted us as a first-time customer. The plumber arrived a half hour early and finished the job in less time than we anticipated. We were thrilled and will switch from Benjamin Franklin to Isley for all our future plumbing needs.

2 visits were required. The first time, they took photos and took them back to the shop to discuss how best to repair the leak. It was difficult to get to, and was at the junction of several pipe branches. They came back a couple of days later with a plan, and completed the repair. This is our second time using this company, and we have been very pleased.

They always do excellent work and this was no exception.

Jason is so patient and friendly. He even took time to show me how to make repairs. The owner has gone above and beyond. I have had so many plumbing problems over the years, and I just think the world of this company.

Toilet started leaking sometime after 3:00 am - woke up at 4:30 with a floor flooded. Checked Angie's list and checked out plumbers. Contacted L.E.Isley shortly after 8:00 a.m. They were very helpful, answered all my questions including giving a rough estimate over the phone. Gave a 3 hour window that the service representative would arrive. Received a call from Dennis a short time later and set a more exact time slot. He asked a few questions, made some suggestions as to the type of toilet for replacement and arrived on time with the necessary material. He gave me a cost of the repair, was very pleasant, went about his work and finished in a short about of time. I will definitely contact this company the next time I have plumbing problems and will gladly recommend them to friends.

I called on Thurs 10-21-10 to request an estimate on a water heater and gas line for a dryer. I was able to get the water heater estimate over the phone ($880.00) and made an appt for the gas line estimate for the following Wed 10-27-10 between 2-2:30. When no one showed for my appt time on that day, I called at 3pm to inquire about the delay. I was told that the estimator "just forgot" (with a slight chuckle). Although they offered to come out right then or the next day, I declined because I don't want to give my business to a company that "just forgets". I had taken off of work to make this appointment. Evidentally, their customers time is not valuable to them.

We called Isley Plumbing and Jason came out and found it was an internal problem with the faucet. He had the materials in his truck and was able to rebuild the faucet right away. The cost of the visit was less than if we had needed to replace the entire unit. We were very pleased with the service.

I called L E Isley & Sons Inc based on Angie's List. They came out to clean my sink. It was a big disappointment. While they were cleaning the sink, they broke it. Now, they are charging to repair it. The guy that broke it denied that he broke it. I called the company and the guy the sent out the fix it, didn't have the part, so another guy had to come out. I don't know if they are going to fix it or get the part. Right now, we can't remove it. I have never had anything like this in my experience. When I spoke on the phone with the man from the company he was nice, but when the guys came out, they seemed like they weren't interested in what they were going to do. They came out and call on time. The price was decent. I had a coupon. This is going on three days. I don't want them to come out everyday, I just want the work fixed.

We contacted the company after getting a rather high extimate from a highly ranked company on Angie's List. Isley gave us the lowest estimate, and was also very careful in reviewing (over the phone) the inputs into its estimate. We felt confident that they were giving an accurate and well-thought out estimate. That, in addition to the low estimate, led us to select them from among the 3 companies we had approached. Our heater had started leaking on Monday, we discussed the job with them on Tuesday (after getting a very high estimate from another company), and were able to agree to a mutually agreeable time on the Thursday. By the Wednesday afternoon, water was gushing out of the top of the heater, so we had had to turn off the main. Their representative arrived on time (actually earlier than they had estimated), and completed the job in a couple hours. Everything was in working order by the time they left, and we were able to have hot showers within half an hour. They also showed us how each of the parts worked, and how to take care of the annual or semi-annual flushing of the tank. Everything seems to be working well so far . . . .

Shaun came out and from start to finish he was knowledgeable , professional, and able to explain the operation in terms I counld understand. I saved $20.00 with my Angie's list coupon. I was exceptionally pleased with Shaun and the company. I will use them again and refer others to them!!!

It went ok. My only problem was that when he was here I had him fix a faucet that cost me and additional 125.00 for 5 minutes when he was already here for the water heater. The water heater was done well and priced right.

They were timely and their estimate was less than others we had gotten. We ordered our plumbing fixtures through another company, and Isley did the work.
