My experience with Isley was great. They were very professional and polite. I appreciated the fact that they put on booties when they arrived to make sure they didn't track any dirt into my home. Furthermore the work itself has turned out well. They found the faulty pipe, repaired it, and we haven't had any issues since.

Their services are great. I can always depend on them.

They came out and gave us an estimate. They promised that they would come on a particular day and at a particulat time. They stuck to their word and everything still works.

Water heater started leaking. Got 3 different companies to come and diagnose it. ALl said it needed to be replaced. This company gave the best extimate for the same brand of water heater as another company did. Ron was the plumber. Interestingly, I did not meet Ron at all. When he came to diagnose the prob, I was at work and we spoke over the phone. Again, when he came for installation, I was at work. But he was very responsive. He finished the job in 2 hours. I called Doug Isley over the phone and made payment over the phone. Even worked out a 90-day installation plan for the whole payment. Great experience!!

I called them, and they had someone come to the house within a couple of hours. He looked to see if there was an easy fix for the faucet, but there was not. He replaced the whole unit and had to get at the connection in the wall by going through the drywall in the basement. I placed an air return cover over the hole. I had checked one other plumber and they were at least $25 higher.

Had a sump pump go out. Isley went out of their way to make time for my last minute call and provided me with what the problem was and my options. Since the pump was still under warranty (how could one of these fail after only 1 yr of service? Isley didn't install it so I chalk it up to experience), they recommended I get with the company that had installed it one year ago. I did and that is a bit of a different story. Regardless, Isley displayed true professionalism and showed me how much they value their customers. They are well worth the $40 charge because they provided good options and helped me understand the issues. I would recommend them to anyone for plumbing jobs. These folks are fabulous!!!

Garbage disposal is replaced and toilet is not repaired. all in all went smoothly although its costly.

Our basement toilet was draining slowly and would over flow, like it was stopped up. I received a phone call to tell that someone was on their way at 2:15 on a Tuesday. Nate arrived at 3:00 and did not give his name. He tried a plunger and a 6 foot snake which did not take care of the problem. He had nothing longer than a 6 foot snake. He seemed angry, angry that we had a back flush toilet, and angry that he hadn't been told the correct information. He seemed frustrated by the problem and stopped for the day when the plunger and the snake did not take care of the problem. He left and said he would have to come back. On Wednesday, Nate, Dennis and Shan (?) showed up. Thank goodness Dennis was there, because when he arrived he took charge of the situation, pulled the toilet, found no clog in the drain, and diagnosed the problem. The holes in the rim of the toilet were clogged with mineral deposits, which prevented the water jets from working and flushing. They used my chemicals to open the holes. It felt like this is something that should have been checked out before pulling a toilet. Also, if this had been diagnosed before pulling the toilet, it wouldn't have been a bill for $290. I know this is a late report. I just found my notes. These people may not even work at this company anymore.

Chris Rogers gave me an estimate on the phone, and when I said I belonged to Angies List, he gave me $10.00 off of it. We set up an appointment for the 11th. The installer called ahead, and showed up right on time. The installation was more difficult than expected, but the installer handled it professionally.

The serviceman called, as promised, before he arrived. He got right to work and solved our plumbing problems.

Plumber arrived at scheduled time, put plasic covers on shoes and proceded to clean drain. Took about 20 minutes and was able to clean drain without leaving any mess. We have used Isley for 20 years and found them very profeesional and easy to deal with.

Very well. The repair tech was prompt, courteous and professional, and explained everything he did.

I was leaving for work when I heard the loud hissing and ran to the basement to see rusty water spewing from my water heater. I turned off the pilot and the water connection, and waited for plumbers to open for the day. I tried a couple of other vendors on Angie's List, where the phones were answered by voice mail. I called Isley and was answered by a polite and professional human being, who assured me they could replace my water heater that day, and put me on the schedule. They called me in time to get to my house to meet the technician, who was extreemely professional and took pains not to harm my recent remodeling of floors and walls. He finished timely and communicated the details to me. They made it just about as painless as possible, to still charge for services.

I spent $150 on that work. They found the leak right away. They are reasonable and do a good job. My husband likes them. They diagnosed the problem right away and were reasonable. They are lesser than the others but do a good job.

I knew the project would be somewhat tedious by involving two seperate businesses and was not surprised by poor communication as I was required to initiate every point of contact with Isley. We agreed upon an installation time/date. Plumber arrived on-time. I would include his name but he didn't mention it. He removed two toilets and installed the replacements. According to the plumber this would normally have been a two man job but the other man was injured and only able to deliver the toilets, not really help very much transporting them. One toilet, located in the farthest corner of the two story house, was disassembled and carried through the (recently carpeted/light color) house. Had the helper been healthy, the toilet would have been removed in one piece. Unfortunately for us, approximately 30 dark red rusty water drops hit the carpet because the toilet was not properly secured in a plastic bag. The rusty water trail began literally at one end of the house and stopped at the garage entry door a distance of approximately 80 feet! Plumber dabbed spots with a paper towel but many didn't disappear. I have professional carpet spot cleaners and eventually removed all them during a two day period. At least I believe they disappeared since stains have a habit of returning. This was another home project that didn't go as well as it should have due to poor installatiion practices. There was absolutely no reason for the rusty water spots and the plumber reacted with very little concern while he continued walking with the dripping bag down the staircase after my wife told him of the problem. He remained oblivious to his actions. A truly bizarre experience! I am unable/unwilling to recommend this company to anyone.

My three year old electric hot water heater stopped heating. Upon inspection of the thermostats, we discovered a leak and rust in the lower part of the heater. I did not want to use the plumbing service that had installed the heater originally because I was dissatisfied with their price and pushing to sell me more items. So I called Isley (from Angie's List) and they sent someone that same day. The heater was under warranty (although I didn't have a copy as the previous company had not provided me one), they checked with the manufacturer and installed a new heater, charging only for the installation. The plumber kept me informed of the job, cleaned up, and best of all, didn't try to sell me anything else. I was very satisfied with their work.

The repairs were done professionally. The plumber was courteous and knowledgeable. Everything was left neat and works well now.

Wonderful job. The plumber was very courteous, punctual, and skillful. He actually came two separate times. First trip was to replace the sump pump, which had gotten a rock stuck in the impeller, frozen up, and burnt up its motor. Having replaced that pump myself once, I know what a hassle it is, but he made quick work of it, and the price was very reasonable. After that, I called Isley for a second job, and they sent the same plumber, and he did another great job. Our drainage pipe from our sump pump had cracked open due to the house's settling. He replaced the cracked part with a flexible piping that will not have the same problem. Then he un-jammed our garbage disposal, which had been broken since a crystal figurine accidentally fell into it and got chopped up. And finally, he cleared our clogged bathtub drain. For all that work, the price was way less than what I would have expected. I will be using Isley for all my plumbing work in the future, provided they maintain this level of service and value. I was very satisfied and would recommend them.
