They offered a competitive price. We chose pex piping over copper, which helped keep the price down. They came out on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. They were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They're a family company who runs it the old-fashioned way. They know what they're doing and know what they're up again.

I have used them for many years. They did their best to minimize the amount we had to spend. There was an alternative approach which they feared they may have to use which would cost 3 times as much but they managed to do it at a lower price. Every time they came they gave great service. I would use them again in the future.

They came over to find out what was wrong with our heater flu. We had a strange smell and substance coming from it. Come to find out a squirrel had gotten stuck inside. They removed the dead squirrel that got stuck in our heater flu. They were very good and replaced our heater flu. Everything is running good now.

He was very open to looking into the second problem though it had not been previously reported, and he was able to correct it in short order. He even provided information on an Easy Water sysem, along with a quote, at my request.

They took great care of me; I thought the prices were very reasonable and I would definitely call them again; it is hard to find a good plumber. Over the weekend we found water on the kitchen floor that appeared to come from under the dishwasher, although the dishwasher was running and seemed to be working properly. To be safe I stopped the dishwasher and drained it. Since we were not positive about the origin of the water, we called Isley when they opened at 7:30 am Monday. We got the voice mail and chose the option of leaving a message. No one had called back a half hour or so later, so I called again and stayed on the line. The receptionist asked me to describe the problem, and then scheduled a plumber to come to our home around noon. The plumber telephoned prior to arriving, and double checked the problem with me. He said that in all likelihood it was the dishwasher that was the problem. He said he'd have to charge if he came out even if it turned out to be the dishwasher. I decided to contact a dishwasher repair service first, on his advice. He turned out to be right! I really appreciate his consideration - and expertise.

We have had wonderful experiences with them. They give you a window of when they are going to be there and if they are running late they will let you know. The actual service guy gives you a call as he is inbound to you and gives you an idea of about how much longer it is going to be. They are very neat. They come in looking good. They take really good care of cleaning up after themselves. They are reasonably priced. They are good people. We have used them for years and years.

They arrived on time and the plumber efficiently replaced the failed sump pump and suggested a back up system that was installed a week later. The float/switch arrangement on the primary pump later failed, but Isley returned the next day and replaced the part at no cost.

I called Isley's first thing Monday morning after a weekend without hot water due to the tank having rusted and emptied the previous Saturday. It was a holiday weekend and many businesses were taking Monday off so I wasn't sure if Isley's would be open. They were, thankfully, and Andy arrived soon after my call, replaced the tank, and was on his way a little after noon. He was professional and knowledgeable, used a tarp and foot covers, and graciously answered questions that I had saved up for whenever I would have a plumber in the house. That helped me in deciding to schedule another visit for later this week to address our problem of hammering pipes, which had recently worsened. We were very pleased with the speedy outcome of our water heater replacement.

We were very impresssed with the service and professionalism of Andy. He explained the options we had, and we determined to get a new faucet. He found one nearby and got it quickly and came back in about thirty minutes to replace the old facuet. An excellent experience overall.

We had used Isley previously with good results, so I contacted them to replace a sump pump that was starting to act up. I had purchased a new sump pump comparable to our original one, so I merely needed them to switch out pumps. I was not at home when the technician arrived, but he completed the work in well under one hour according to our adult son, who was at home while the work was being done. The charge was $240, which seemed rather high for this particular job but we had not asked for a quote prior to the work being performed. We subsequently had some problems with the new pump, requiring a return visit. Isley was very good about a follow-up visit, but the problem was that the original technician had taken the box and packaging materials from our new pump as well as the old pump without asking. I had to contact Isley to see if they could return the box and packaging materials so that I could make an exchange. After several days and several phone calls they located same, but informed me that I would have to come to their facilities to pick it up.While I do not have any problems with their plumbing expertise, I felt that it was poor customer service to require me to drive to Westfiled to retrieve the box and packaging materials for the pump I had purchased.

I called after the heating company came to give an estimate to install a humidifier on the furnace. With new construction, there wasn't copper piping. The person on the phone was understanding and helpful and offered to set up an appointment the next day, but I delayed until after Thanksgiving. The technician called before leaving that morning. After looking at the situation, he suggested another way to accomplish the goal which was cheaper and faster. I had him check with the furnace people, and they agreed. The plumber quoted me a price and then installed the 1/4 turn shut off valve. He was fast, couteous and professional. I really appreciated his informing me of the easier, cheaper way to get the job done. With the $20 discount for being a member of Angie's List, the cost was morew than reasonable. I will use Isley's again. I like to use family owned and operated businesses.

The serviceman figured out how far he could move out the pipes from the exterior wall so they would still come up in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. He cut the pipes and moved them. He replaced turn-off valves under the sink and secured pipes in the crawl space away from that outside wall. He also secured the outside spigot. That evening we realized there was a lack of water pressure on the hot water and a slight leak where the hot water pipe connected to the pipe to the dishwasher. When we called Isley the next morning, they were very nice and asked how soon we needed it fixed. We chose to wait until after the weekend. Then we discovered that the copper pipe to the dishwasher which goes through another cabinet, now blocked most of the bottom shelf in a large "C" shape so it was very difficult to put anything in there without that hot pipe touching it. The serviceman who came out early Monday morning shortened this pipe so we could reclaim our cabinet space, and in so doing also fixed the leak when he reconnected it to the new hot water turn-off. He also blew out the hot water line to check the pressure and found and solved that problem as well. We are very happy with the end product and Isley's service. We have hired them before and will use their services again.

The company was very responsive to my needs. I called on a Tuesday morning and explained my problem. The gentleman who answered the phone looked through the schedule and apologized that they were booked for the day but could get out first thing Wednesday morning. I didn't mind as I wasn't expecting them to be able to get out on the same day that I called. He gave me a quote of around $200 for the service. Wednesday morning the serviceman arrived when expected and set to work right away. He had a little trouble with roots in my line and needed to call for a larger machine to clean the drain, but stated it would be at no extra cost to me. Great! In the end he was able to get the line clear using the tools he had with him but it was great to know that they weren't going to charge me extra for having to go get a different machine. The work completed and I was very happy with the service. Will be using the company again in a few months when I plan to install a new hot water heater.

They came the same day that we called them. The were very professional and did a great job!

They came out the same day. which was nice.The worker Sean, was very nice and polite. He quickly resolved the problem. They were clean and efficient. They were forthcoming with information and answered my questions. They even honored my coupon, though I had not printed it out.

We've used them for years. They always come when they say they will. They've always done a good job.

The drain on my ancient basement sink, into which the washer drains, clogged up. They came within 90 minutes of when I called, even though it wasn't an emergency. Because of the age of the pipe and its advanced state of corrosion, it wasn't clear that it could be fixed without replacing the concrete sink and the whole arrangement. Nate managed to get it apart, cleaned out the clog and put on a new drain which is working fine. I had been told by other plumbers in the past that this couldn't be done so was pleased to have this solution.
