The removal and installation went well. Noticed a couple things after they left . . . (1) To us the temp was set way too hot, even though the tech showed me where the dial was set and that this was a normal non-scalding temp setting. I must have had to turn the temp control knob a quarter turn counterclockwise to lower it over the next few days. (2) The water in general (hot and cold) did not soften after the installation. I found that the water softener was left unplugged. It's ok now but this is a step that the tech should not have overlooked. This is not directed toward the vendor, but I was pretty amazed and shocked at the markup that vendors charge for installing a water heater. 1/2 the cost of our service call was the retail cost of the heater itself, which means that $500 went to the installation cost, which was over just a 2-hr period. I've used Isley for other services and they are very dependable and good to work with. There were a couple of slip-ups with this particular call, but nothing we couldn't handle. We'll continue to call Isley.

Left a message on their phone at 10 PM Monday night and they called promptly the next morning and set up a time for the service tech to come. We were told if any of the techs finished early they would come right away to get our problem solved. Shaun fixed our problem in no time and explained what he did and what had probably caused the problem. As always, great service!

I had work done twice on my garbage disposal. I called their office and the office lady was wonderful and very helpful. Said they could have someone out in an hour. Found out I had a pipe clogged and no problem with my garbage disposal. They worked very hard and used the snake to clear it out. They worked 2-3 hours and were determined to get it fixed. They were wonderful!

We've used Isley a few times in the past 2 months. They've always been very helpful, punctual, and are fairly priced. In both cases I appreciate the honesty of the 2 different repairmen. Darrell was here today and was very helpful.

Ordered parts and fixed faucet . Punctual and clean.did a good job.

I need to replace a leaking spigot and install a new one with existing water lines which are completely accessible in the unfinished basement. His estimate was $285 and $435. I pointed out that my neighbor had her inaccessible spigot replaced for only $213 and the plumber had to cut the ceiling and patched it back on in the basement. He said, "I don't care." I respectfully thanked his time, declined his proposal and paid for his trip. I called another A rate company on Angie's list and they proposed for $320 to do both.

I would rate them as an A on everything. They had 2 plumbers come out and they finished the job very quickly. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. The price was reasonable as well. The response time was very quick.

Andy arrived within the time block given. He evaluated and made an adjustment in our water softener for it to function at its maximum effectiveness. He answered all of my questions and provided an estimate of its life expectancy.

I've been using them for ten years and have never had an issue. The come out quick are always on time and are very nice.

Could not adjust the temperature of the shower; they replaced the control valve. Now works just fine. He was quick and the bathroom was left the same as before he came. He also looked at the 2 outdoor faucets which leak and/or spray from the faucet. He said he would verify if parts were available. He called back and stated the parts were no longer available and gave us an estimate for replacement.

I really liked them. They came in, assessed the situation, and got it fixed within an hour. I thought they were easy to deal with and I no problems with them.

Andy showed up early, went down into the crawl space and diagnosed the issue. He explained how "curb boxes" and "meter pits" worked and told me exactly what my options were. This review is specifically about the initial Isley visit where I learned exactly what I needed to do in order to shut off the water. Andy was very helpful and saved me a lot of money and time by steering me in the right direction. Isley will be installing the shut off valve as soon as Citizens Water identifies how to shut off the water to my house.

IMO the cost was excessive considering it was 1 hour's work and the float switch was $60 online from the manufacturer.

Ok the 1st time; he had to return a different day (different person), both professional & courteous. Work was a bit pricey

I was in a mess. We were expecting company, I was preparing dinner, and my kitchen drain backed up. It was 3:00 PM. I called Isley with my tale of woe. I had used them before and was always pleased. She said that their schedule was full but she would contact the dispatcher to see if someone could come after they were finished with their calls. By 4:15 PM two men came and efficiently had my drain running and the mess cleaned up in 45 min. I asked if they had a new disposal and they had one on the truck. Mine was quite old and I felt was not working properly. They were so polite and helpful. They even put up with my nosey dogs who had to get in on the repair!

The office promptly replied to my request for service and was able to schedule an appointment the next day. I received a quote from the technician that arrived for a new garbage disposal for $501.29. The rep stated that he always recommended one "level" up from the current model which I have had without issue for 7 years. I was surprised by the price and said I needed to think about it. I found the exact same product that was recommended at Home Depot for $84 dollars and am hiring someone else to install it. There is NO WAY this job was a $500 dollar job and I feel like I was completely being taken advantage of. This is why I do my homework both from the retail/manufacturer for products and Angie's list for Services! I won't ever use this provider again. When I called the office to complain the rep quoted a price in the 300 dollar range and said she "didn't know why" the other quote was so high. Service providers are supposed to recommend the best possible outcome for their client if they expect repeat service. I would have used them again instead they received $25 for a service call.

I called them to setup time for them to come look at my garbage disposal wasn't working.He came in flip the switch on the wall,It wouldn't turn on he said I need a new garbage disposal,he couldn't fix it,so he took out the old one put in a new one.Only took him 30 min

I had a hose a bibb in the front of my home that leaked and sprayed water all over the front of the house, and whinned under pressure at the lower water pressure points with my hose. After having a few other plumbers come out to take a look at it, none of which knew how to fix this particular area, I called and spoke to Doug and he was very knowledgeable about this type of unit. To be sure he sent out the correct parts, he had me take a picture of the faucet and text it to him. As a result, he sent Rik out to replace this unit. Rik called before he arrived to let me know about what time he would be at my home, and he really was there as promised. Rik was honest and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done, and thouroughly explained the entire process of this replacement to me. He answered all my questions, was extremely careful with my home and furniture, and did a fabulous job replacing the unit. Not only that, he also discovered that my main water shut off value, is not working properly, so he installed a lever shut off in the area where the exterior hose bibb pipe came into my home, so I had an easy & correct water shut off value in case of water issues later. Rik installed an access panel that blends in with my finished ceiling. He showed me how to work everything, was thorough with his clean up. I will be calling on these people to replace the main water shut off valve in the next few weeks. I appreciated their professionalism, and their expert knowledge of their business. Technician arrived on time, was polite, assessed and advised. situation could only be diagnosed with a teardown. Upon tear down, old pump still operational. Given labor invested in tear down, was asked if we wanted a new sump pump. Given labor invested, we said OK, as long as it solves the problem. New pump installed, same issue persists, now diagnosed to be a drainage venting problem. Technician did stay on task and devise a temporary solution, but fixing root cause will still require repair, and the new sump pump did not get us any closer to it. While new pump is indeed value, it was also an expensive $500 diagnosis

Wonderful service. Called in the am, and he was there in the pm. Called 1/2 hour prior so I could meet them. Quick & efficient work.

The plumber was very professional, knowledgeable and punctual. He kept me involved in the process of finding and fixing the leak. He also gave me a discount for being contacted through Angie's list. I appreciated that he wore shoe covers to protect my carpet.

We recently had our dryer checked by Isley. They are great. We used them two weeks ago. It was reasonably priced and the quality of the work was good. The price was fair. We had a sock stuck in our vent and they just charged us for the call. They were honest.
