The plumber arrived early for the appointment after phoning to confirm. He asked good, direct questions to determine what the problem was, explained the possible solutions, then with my approval proceeded with the least costly course of action. This procedure cleared the clog. He requested a washer tub full of water be pumped through the line to assure the clog was cleared.

They did an excellent job. They did a fine job for a fair price. They got right out and did it. I have had absolutely no problems since.

Serviceman was TOO early, and I had to flag him down to get him to come to the home with the problem. Then, he insisted that the house HAD to have a clean-out... because "That's code." I had to visit the city offices and run down the engineer who had the maps of the city to determine that there was no clean-out or exterior access on our line. After some hot words, and a phone call to his office, he reluctantly performed the service. In the end the serviceman pulled the toilet,augered the drain, and everything began working properly. I've done this type of work by myself before. Pulling a toilet is not that big a deal, nor is running a power auger. I found this company on AL and it said prettry much the opposite of what I experienced. Overall, I was very disappointed because the serviceman's attitude was condescending. I know the house he was in was not in perfect condition, because it belongs to our daughter whose husband has had a debilitating stroke, and she has been half crazy trying to work, visit the care facility where he's been in recovery, and trying to keep her head above water. I doubt that every worker for this company takes this approach to a job... and I also doubt that I will use this company again.

He just came briefly. He was very nice and he was helpful. He also went upstairs and looked at a probably a clog we had. It worked great. I would definitely use him again. He was very nice. It was fine. We're very pleased. The price seemed fair. They were just great. They were right on time.

Dennis called to say he was on way . He was professional, knowledgable, and identified the problem right away. He gave me an quote before doing the service. He fixed the leak, cleaned up the area , and he checked the other facet, and tightened a nut at no charge. I felt very comfortable with L.E. ISLEY because they have a high standard of quality service.

They did a great job. One year later and the toilets are performing flawlessly. And I purchased three toilets for the cost of two as quoted by another Angie's List top rated plumber.

The technician was great, he gave us an original quote which included the cost of the service call. When he realize the price of the repair was going to be more than he quoted he waived the service call fee for us. Would definitely use again.

Great! He quickly diagnosed the problem, told me it could easily be fixed, and then fixed it. I used a coupon I printed off Angie's List, but the work was still very affordable.

It went very well. The technicians were very professional and made sure they checked everything before they left to make sure all faucets were fixed.

I called on a Monday morning. They gave me a verbal estimate over the phone. I made an appointment to have the water heater and thermal expansion tank installed the following morning. On Tuesday morning, the workers called before they arrived. They arrived on time. Two plumbers arrived and they got right to work. They had no problems getting the old water heater out and installing the new one. They got the job done fairly quickly. They cleaned up after themselves. The price matched what they had quoted me on the phone. It is now about one month after they installed the water heater and expansion tank. Thus far I have had no problems, everything is working great. Overall I was pleased with the work that they did. If I need a plumber, I would hire them again.

Called out to replace what we thought was a bad dishwasher supply line connector. The technician replaced the connection and then found that the dishwasher itself was the source of the leak. We discussed it, and we agreed on fair compensation for the service call and diagnostic work. Professional and reasonable in cost.

I’ve used them a lot. I like their honesty. Sometimes I call them and they just tell me over the phone how to fix it to save me money.

Bill called when he was on his way to our house and arrived when he said he would. He asked about our two issues (leaky faucet and bathtub with toys down the drain), then wrote a quote. I agreed to the terms, then he went to work. He fixed the leaky faucet quickly, then went to work on the tub. Unfortunately, when he pulled out the drain, he discovered that there were, indeed, toys down the drain that he didn't have the equipment to retrieve. He readjusted the bill to reflect only his work on the faucet and let me know he would let the schedulers know that we needed a different tech/equipment to fix the tub problem.

Their quality of work was good. We were satisfied with it. They seemed honest and did a good job.

Some visits were good. Some of the folk they sent to us had very poor knowledge about what they were doing. Some things they did improved our situation and others actually made things worse. At the end of the day our problems were not all solved.

Collin was able to troubleshoot my furnace concerns the same day I called and requested service. He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and communicated clearly with me. I am very happy with the level of service I received today from LE Isley company and I look forward to using them exclusively for my HVAC and plumbing needs going forward! As an aside, Collin informed me of their annual service contracts and other servicing options available to me going foward. He was informative, but in now way pressured me to sign up for something I wasn't ready to commit to.

The gentleman sent out was punctual and polite. He replaced the busted pipe, tightened up all the odds and ends and returned water pressure to my shower. He was quick and thorough.

I have used L.E.Isley in the past for all of my plumbing needs and have been quite happy with them. I called the office yesterday morning and left a message indicating what I needed and when I'd like the work to be scheduled. Dawn got back with me promptly with the timeframe I was requesting. As always, Nate came and took care of the problem in his usual professional, pleasant and efficient manner!

I've never had a workman at my house that was so polite. He's very competent. I trust Isley Plumbing.

After a recent gas outage, my tankless water heater stopped working. I contacted Isley Plumbing in Westfield because they are local, and they said they work on tankless water heaters. This was the first time I have used them. The gentleman they sent to my house admitted he knew nothing about the particular brand of water heater I have (Bosch), and couldn't really tell what was wrong. He did test my gas pressure with a basic water-tube type manometer, and said I had 13 column-inches of pressure. That was all he could do, so I paid the bill and he left. He was very kind and easy to work with, and I thought the diagnostic charge was very fair. I would definitely consider using them again if I need plumbing repairs (other than on my tank-less water heater). I had a second plumber (from another company) come out. He said he was very experienced in tank-less water heaters, and seemed very knowledgeable and professional, but he had not worked on my brand before. He too did little more than test the gas pressure at 5.5 column inches with hand-held digital instrument. He told me that was too low for the heater to use (although the ratings plate says 5.0 is the minimum it is rated for). He also guessed that the gas valve might be damaged or plugged and not passing enough gas to ignite. I called the gas company and they dispatched a repairman who tested the pressure at the meter and got the same 5.5 reading. He turned the regulator up to about 8.5 inches just in case. The heater still wouldn't start. After going through three plumbers from two different companies, and doing a lot of analysis, I ended up solving the problem myself. The heater is operational again and seems to be working better than before, possible to the improved gas supply. Note: If anybody buys a tank-less water heater, I recommend you have the gas pressure and your piping sizes checked thoroughly, as low pressure or too-small piping could reduce the performance of your water heater. These heaters need a lot of gas when they run at maximum output.

They attempted a fix, but needed to use a more powerful auger, able to get through 90 degree turns. They came back the next day with the auger...even still meeting resistance. Nate climbed down in the crawl space to discover that our 50+ year old galvanized/black pipe and twisty turns(no code in the 50's or ?) was completely blocked. at the 90s and T at the vent. He replaced the old pipe and we're good as new. Easy to work with, employees very professional and knowledgeable. We've used them in the past and will continue to. Prices on target for work performed.
