I called and was able to get an appt. the same day I made the phone call. The person who answered the phone, Judy, was so pleasant and helpful, answering all my questions. The technician, Nate, arrived on time as promised. He was extremely knowledgeable regarding what needed to be done, put the correct shut off valves on both the hot and the cold water faucets that were in the wall, where the washer hooks into. The new valves were the ones he recommended and he showed me how to turn them. He did not try to sell me any other improvements to that area, even though I thought I needed more work done. He reassured me everything was fine and to code. He was so careful moving the extremely heavy front load washer, careful not to tear my vinyl and left my laundry clean and tidy. I really appreciated the service I received.

We have a Whirlpool hot water heater that we had purchased from Lowes and that my husband had installed. It began to develop large "blisters" in the outer casing, and I was pretty sure it needed to be replaced. It still had 4 years left on the warranty though so I called Whirlpool to see how to go about replacing it. I was told I needed to have a certified plumber call them and verify. I called around to see who had the cheapest trip charge since I figured they would be able to tell immediately that it was defective and was hoping I could avoid any additional work charges. Isley's said it would cost $25 to send a plumber to my home. If he could get in right away on the phone, there probably wouldn't be any additional charge, but if it took a while they might have to charge me the additional fee. I was fine with that arrangement as that seemed fair enough. When the plumber came, he knew immediately that the water heater was defective and began to explain that there would be an additional diagnostic fee on top of the visit. I explained that the scheduler said it would depend on how long it took to make the phone call. I immediately began dialing the Whirlpool service center, and the plumber took my phone from my hands and turned off the speaker so no one else could hear how the call was transpiring. I had called this number several times and was very familiar with the system, when what buttons needed to be pushed when, and he didn't appear to be pushing any buttons to get to the right place. Then he claimed the call had been dropped. He started to dial the number again but was not used to my phone and I ended up putting it back on speaker mode and then re-dialing the number. When it was time to select the right option, he didn't do anything so I intervened to do so. Then he took the phone off of speaker and took it into another room. Then he seemed to be on hold for a really long time, which had not been my experience in calling this number in the past. I can't really prove anything but the whole interchange left me feeling taken advantage of so that he could make sure he got his extra diagnostic charge. I didn't appreciate his repeatedly taking my phone and turning it off of speaker. In the end, he did get me set up with a return authorization number and a clear understanding of what the procedure was although he had the guy repeat it several times more than we needed to hear. I gave him a "FAIR" rating for quality since ultimately, he did what I needed him to do, but I will never call on these guys again. I am very disappointed as I was looking for a new "go-to" plumber and this company advertised themselves as such.

Great, I am a multi-repeat customer of Isley and they always do a great job. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional techs. They are on time, and get the job done quickly and thoroughly. Pricing is certainly fair and work is performed in a timely manner. I never have second thoughts about calling them for all of my plumbing needs in my 1970 house.

I called mid morning on a weekday and was able to schedule someone to come out the same day. I appreciated an email letting me know when the plumber would be on his way, complete with his picture. He was professional and listened to my explanation of the problem and he made sure both the kitchen and basement sinks were draining before he cleaned up.

In the last month I've used them twice. Punctual, professional, and gets it done right the first time. A little pricey - but you get what you pay for.

Requested quote to install a new utility sink. Cost $25 for someone to come onsite and he wasn't familiar with pricing to install the sink. Several weeks later I received a quote after calling several times. It was too high so ended up using another provider.

They showed up on time and were efficient getting the job done.

The technician Shawn did a great job, was punctual, professional, and I felt confident of his work. Will call again for future plumming issues.

This is our second time using Isley and they were once again great to work with. We had a toilet overflow and then noticed water dripping into the ceiling of the downstairs below the toilet. The plumber diagnosed the issue and provided a quote to fix it by re-setting the toilet and replacing a few parts. Since the unit was old and builder grade, we chose to get a new one and have the plumber install it. They came the same day I initially called and scheduled the follow up work the very next morning. Once again they were right on time and in and out in a jiffy. They took the old toilet with them and cleaned up great. Highly recommend if you need a reliable plumber.

Very well. Gave me several options before any repairs were made. Cleaned up everything and did excellent work. Also gave me an estimate for future work that will be scheduled next month.

Very professional, friendly, and expert. I was told by a previous plumber that the sink leak and shower head could not be fixed since they are old fixtures, but Isley did it! Our house is over 75 years old and Isley has taken care of our plumbing needs for the past 35 years. They always send a technician who is most proficient in the area needing repair. They are super responsive. The woman who answers the telephone is great. They have a one-year warranty on the work they do. All-in-all, I trust them to do a good job quickly at a fair price.

I have never had to wait more than two or three rings before I get an answer to a call to Isley, one of the many reasons I like this company. The woman who answered the phone set up an appointment for the next morning. I specifically asked for Nate, who did a great job of clearing the line about three years ago. (My sewer line has had to be cleared of roots every two to three years, but functions well between cleanings.) Nate arrived promptly at 10 am (I had been given a window between 10 and 1) and then called another Isley employee to help carry the large piece of equipment needed for the cleaning down my basement stairs. (I don't have an outside cleanout, which would make the job easier.) Nate spent almost an hour working on the line until it was clear and then did the foam application. Nate has a lot of experience with sewer line problems and can detect more serious issues and give advice about them. I will definitely call him back in a couple of years for a "preventive" cleaning, which is probably better than waiting for the line to clog. I have used Isley for all my plumbing repairs for about nine years and have a lot of confidence in the skills and professionalism of its employees.

They came out an for about an hour's worth of work, they wanted to charge us over $300. The price was far too high for us, so the plumber called the office and told us that he could come down $100. When I saw the bill, I noticed a service charge of $25. I asked that this be removed because we were paying him for the service. We were given a senior discount of only $5. We will not use them again.

The plumber offered a number of options (could buy a faucet myself, he could get one, etc.). I asked him to get the faucet, he installed it, cleaned up, and everything is great. I think Isley's prices may be a little on the high side, but they are always on time, explain what they are doing and why, and have always performed great service, offer options when its appropriate, and have always been honest. I've had offers from other plumbing companies, but I like to reward great service with loyalty.

The gentleman from Isley Plumbing came out and fixed the leaking bathroom faucet that had been put in my another provider. He also found numerous things that were done incorrectly that caused us to have a leak when using the new faucet. He also assessed the dampness that was under the second bathroom sink. He then replace our turn off/on valves and replaced the old faucet in that bathroom. Before all work was done, I received a written cost sheet to approve of. I know that the cost was not cheap. That being said, the last person who came out and cost us less ended up not doing things correctly. Therefore, we had to pay for this provider to correct all those issues. I would use this company and this provider again- and have used them in the past for other plumbing issues. Again, the prices were not super low, but for this type of work, I found them to be good. I feel that you end up with the quality of what you pay for. Therefore I think that they did a very good job!!!!!

I had a leak at the base of my kitchen faucet, so I called a "handyman". That was a mistake. Before he was half way into my kitchen, he said that I needed a new faucet. He hadn't even looked at it, yet! When I said that I liked the faucet that I had, he told me that I would have to buy a rebuild kit somewhere and he would do the work, but wouldn't warrant that the faucet wouldn't leak, anyway! So, I called Isley. Rik Hilty came out, look at the faucet and told me all I needed was a new o-ring. He installed it and now the faucet works fine. He was on-time, friendly, helpful and very professional. I will certainly use Isley the next time I have a plumbing need.

Jacob and his crew did an excellent job. We remodeled our kitchen--new granite countertops, cooktop, sink, faucets, etc. We had purchased new Wolf cooktops (30" gas; 15" induction) and a downdraft vent/blower from HH Gregg and found that we needed someone to install the units that was Wolf certified (extends the warranty by one year) and, basically, knew what they were doing. We found L.E. Isley through a referral from a Wolf authorized repair shop. We had also found another certified installer on the Wolf website. The other installer was slow to provide a quote for services, did not have any reviews on Angie's List (whereas, Isley has many positive reviews), and quoted us more than twice Isley's price. Jacob and Daniel came out to do the installation after the granite installers had cut the opening for the cooktop. Unfortunately, the opening was too large. The granite installers returned to figure out a solution; Jacob spent time on the phone with them helping them design a solution. Once in place, Jacob returned the following week to complete the install. Everything went smoothly and they did a great job. Although two trips were required and Jacob provided over-the-phone assistance to the granite installers, Isley did not charge us more than the original quote (much to our surprise). We will definitely use L.E. Isley again in the future and highly recommend them.

Rik arrived sooner than expected and got right to work.We found my Faucette stems were quite old and needed re seated.Rik was able to accomplish this and complete the repair. I learned much from the visit and Isley will be called to complete add'l projects that are pending.

I emailed Isley on a Sunday evening to request a service appointment for issues with our toilet. The office called me the next morning and had a technician at my home before noon on Monday. Rik, our technician, had done work for us in the past. He is punctual, pleasant, and professional. Rik explained several options to us that represented a variations of costs. He answered all our questions. The work was performed efficiently and all was cleaned up before Rik left. I will definitely call Isley again for our next plumbing issue.

Our water heater went out and we had a water emergency situation. We called Isley and in a very short time they sent a technician out. Larry was very nice,courteous, and knowledgeable. He installed a new water heater for us and handled the situation very well. Isley sure has some good quality people working for them, and we do appreciate the honesty and service we received today from Larry Brown. Isley has handeled our plumbing needs for almost 40 years. Everything went great. They were able work me into the schedule the same day even though it wasn't an emergency. The plumbers, Jake L. and Shaun, were professional and thorough. I could tell Shaun really knows his stuff (just as an example, he had the exact water hardness for our area memorized!). He recommended a repair to the gas line that made sense and was more economical than replacing the entire line. He also offered some friendly advice on a couple other plumbing issues.

I was able to schedule an appointment with Isley the same day I called about problems with my water heater. Even better, they called back and Dave was able to come to my home earlier than I could originally schedule. I thought the heater had a leak (turns out it did not) and the water never got really hot. Dave inspected it and noted that the thermostat was failing although it would still work for awhile. I decided to replace the unit since it was over 13 years old and bought the 4 year extension for a 10 year warranty. He was able to bring in a new unit that fit into my space and install it that same day. Dave explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions. He also helped me clear a path in the garage so the water heaters could be exchanged and cleaned up after the work leaving the area neater than it was before. I now have hotter water on the low setting than I did using the highest setting on my old unit. I will definitely have Isley back when I have additional plumbing questions or problems.

Prompt. Called ahead to see if they could come a little early even. Work done quickly by a friendly and competent plumber. He explained the issues and took quick action to fix them after telling me the cost. I've used Isley before and have always been impressed with their service. I'd definitely recommend them.

I called frantic first thing on a Monday morning, after a weekend of rain and a sump pump that had failed. Our basement did not flood due to a water back up system we had, but with the amount of water flowing in our pump, I knew it would not be able to keep up for very long. I had also used my back yard hose and when I went to turn it off, it would only turn so far and would not shut the water completely off. I am a repeat customer and they took excellent care of me. They came out same day I called, even showed up earlier than expected and replaced the sump pump with a nice quality unit. Shawn made sure to secure all the lines running into the pit so it would not get hung up and cause it to perhaps not work in the future. He took the frost free unit apart and discovered it was blocked with rust, flushed the unit, and repaired it and put it back together again. He could have charged me for an entire new unit, but this speaks to the honesty and integrity of this company. I was so grateful for what they did, their price extremely reasonable, and they have top notch contractors who know their plumbing. Outstanding customer service. I was so comfortable with knowing they were coming out to take care of our water issues. I knew it would get done right. Thanks you so much.

Last week, my new dishwasher couldn't be installed because of problems turning off the water. Isley sent men over early the next morning. They opened the water meter pit (which had been jammed), replaced the valves under the sink with a better design, and cleaned up the sink cabinet after themselves. The plumber and his helper were expert, friendly, and brisk. I've used this company in the past and will happily do so in the future.
