We moved in in May of 2013. We signed a 6 month lease. From the beginning there were maintenance issues. There was a knocking in the wall (which we were assuming was a plumbing problem) that was never fixed. We reported this "wall knocking" AT LEAST once a month by computer maintenance requests, in person at the leasing office and we even provided a DVD with video of the random knocking and the issue was never addressed and never fixed. The issue kept all of us up at night, woke us and our children up from sound sleep on a daily basis. The furnace and return air intake were located in the living room/dining area. The air intake was so loud it made watching TV and relaxing impossible without adjusting the volume of the TV constantly and again disturbing the sleep of us and our children. We lived in a downstairs 3 bedroom unit. Our upstairs neighbors we a nightmare. A screaming 2 year old child that was awake at all hours of the day and night, running back and forth through the apartment until sometimes 3 or 4am having kicking screaming tantrums that kept us awake all night. The child was left out on the upstairs balcony which was used as a makeshift playpen, constantly throwing toys, clothes, shoes, household items including remotes, toothbrushes and many other random objects over the balcony. The child also was spilling juice and food on our patio, making it impossible to sit on our patio without having food and juice raining down on us, and I constantly had to clean it up. The upstairs neighbors frequently had domestic disputes and we heard every bit of it, they were reported several times by me and some of our other neighbors that lived in the same building. They allow people to have pets at this complex, and the pet waste problem is out of control. My kids stepped in dog feces while walking to the bus stop twice, because there was dog waste ON THE SIDEWALK at least 3 out of the 5 days of the week, and dog feces in the grass making it difficult for us to let the kids run around in the grass while we were outside playing. There were kids that lived in the complex that used the breezeways for their personal "hangouts" and constantly made excessive noise and left food waste like whole pieces of pizza, melted oatmeal cream pies and crusts to sandwiches littered all over the breezways, and we tracked them in the apartment on many separate occasions. Other tenants in the complex would leave bags of garbage right outside of the dumpster out of common laziness, and at one time I even saw a broken garbage bag of soiled kitty litter laying on the ground right by the dumpster. We ended up moving out on October 2013 one month before our lease was up, we kept the apartment and fufilled the lease until November 2013 to avoid any penalties. Our experience there was a complete nightmare and I would NEVER recommend anyone to move here.
