Awful, awful, awful "customer service"!!! I will never do business here again. There is NO customer service! I have never been treated so rudely. I called her when the room was ready and was given a lot of grief about how the bed had been there awhile waiting for my call ... and it wasn't her fault it hadn't been delivered since I hadn't called. (I didn?t complain that she didn?t call to let me know it was in.) I don't know why she was so defensive as this was never an issue. She complained that she had to deliver and set up the bed for only $10 and would have to find someone to help her!!! She also complained that she would have to close the store while she delivered it. When she finally delivered the bed with the help of a young man, she continued complaining about delivering it! She was in a big hurry to set it up and leave. I was concerned that the bed didn't look like it was set up for a California King and she assured me it was. On her way out the door, she actually threw a "kit" at me for the mattress people to use if the bed wasn't set up right. She refused to install the ?kit?. Sure enough, the California King mattress didn't fit the bed she set up as a Standard King. The mattress people don't set up beds. By then Thanksgiving was just around the corner and the sales lady refused to come back and set up the bed correctly. She kept insisting I could do it myself in ten minutes and she didn't have time to come back before Thanksgiving. I begged her to please stop by after the store closed to fix it since it was so easy and she knew how - I didn?t. I needed it for Thanksgiving. She refused to make any effort to help me. She had Thanksgiving plans! Then she blamed me for her setting it up wrong saying that I couldn't decide if I wanted a California or Standard King!!! What?!! After all the discussion about how tall my son-in-law is!!!? That was never an issue. I ordered a California King. California King bedding was in the room waiting for the bed! I didn't even know there would be an option for setting it up any other way. I just couldn't believe how rude this lady was. My husband is wheelchair bound and I have severe arthritis. We live alone. There was no one to help me fix the bed so it wasn't ready for Thanksgiving. This rude sales lady kept insisting I could do it myself but she would do it after Thanksgiving if I didn't. I never heard from her again. We were having some electrical work done at the time and the electrician finally set it up for me just before Christmas. By this time I never wanted to deal with this awful retailer again and I certainly don't want her in my home again! She still hasn't called to arrange to fix her mistake or even check to see if I was able to fix it. The lack of courtesy and service at Kingsland Furniture more than offset their slightly lower prices compared to other furniture stores. By the time she added insults, stress, and lack of customer service, Kingsland Furniture is extremely over-priced. It?s a wonder they are still in business. I have a lot more furniture to buy but I will never set foot in that store again; I urge you to be extremely cautious if you decide to do so.
