Two Sisters Painting

Contact with the provider did not go very well. I left an email and two messages before anyone contacted me. One owner came to my house to get an idea of how much the painters could complete in eight hours. She arrived about two hours later than she said she would. She spend about five minutes with me then she left. I was expecting painters on the following Monday. I received a text message on Sunday night around 9:pm. (after my husband had moved all of the furniture out of the way) stating that the painters would not be available until Tuesday. I received a voicemail on Monday stating no painters would be available all week and I would have to wait until the following week. When I returned her call (to cancel my service), she let me know that another client had rescheduled and the painters would be at my house on Tuesday. She did not call me to let me know about the new arrangement. The painters (Jeff and Adrian) arrived on time and did an excellent job! They were able to paint three rooms (instead of the two which the owner stated). They were professional and clean and our walls look great! I would recommend the two of them to anyone interested in having their home painted. However, the owner needs to improve client relations.

I am not entirely happy with the service. They were here for a number of hours and I paid a little extra because they did go beyond the three hours which was appropriate. I think that they had mentioned that they were ready to paint when they were done but that really wasn't true without them doing extra work. The walls were awfully wet, I think they scraped out the floor molding a little more than I thought that it would be. I wasn't expecting the damage to the floor molding. I would probably have someone else repair the walls. It was old wall paper, my initial problem was it took a little more work, like double glued in the seams and it had been on for a number of years so it did take a while longer to do that and I was prepared for the time. But there was little bit scrapings on the wall which would probably be normal. The floor molding was scrapped up a little bit more than I anticipated and the walls need repair a little bit and I have got someone whose going to finish that and complete painting it.

It went very well. I would recommend their service. The walls look great. They were very professional and did very good work.

I needed to call the provider back for "re-dos" on two things. The provider was very responsive and sent someone over to fix the problems. There were places on the bathroom ceiling where the paint was cracked and peeling: the first painter had not scraped and patched those but just painted over them--so that I still had cracks and peeling. On the window sills, rather than fill the scrapes from the dog's jumping up, the first painter had just painted many layers, which then bubbled and rippled--so the only improvement was that I saw no bare wood, but still had a mess. The second painter worked diligently, and the finished job was fine.

Painter was on time. Did a nice job for a reasonable price. No complaints.

One gentleman showed up on time Monday morning. We went over a few things and then he went to work. The first day he worked on one of the two colors I had chosen which was a darker shade of blue. The blue was going on just two walls. He did a beautiful job! The second day he did everything else, the other two walls in the bedroom AND the bathroom. Over all everything turned out great. No paint on my woodwork or the ceiling. The only thing I found after he had left was overspray on my tub and a little on the sink. It didn't look like he had covered any of the bathroom facilities. It wasn't too bad to me and my husband picked most of it off. We had moved all the furniture to the center of the bedroom so there was at least 3 feet all the way around for him to work. He did cover the carpet as he worked but he did not cover the furniture. I did find a couple small splats of blue paint on the bedskirt. I assumed he must have set his paint pan near it. He was very good! The line at the top of the wall and the ceiling looks perfect. Trim around baseboards looks perfect. Yes, I would use him again.

I had used him for a lot more hours but they gave me a good price. Price was good. The quality was really good. I had them come back and repaint. They were very happy to do that. I would absolutely use them again.

I paid $350 for 2 painters for a day (8 hrs), which is 8hrs minus breaks (which didn't matter cause they got so much done and didn't take long breaks at all), we provided the paint. I went back and forth with the owner a few times discussing their availability and what they thought they could do in a day. After working that out and deciding to go ahead and do it she was able to get painters coming out the next day (super fast), she was very pleasant to work with even if I couldn't always get ahold of her right away, still very helpful and friendly. The painters came on time and worked with my wife, they were very polite and easy for her to work with, put her at east, which not all painters do. They were very clean and careful and got so much done my wife ran out of stuff for them to do. They did a great job cutting in, which is rather difficult, and my wife is fairly particular about clean paint lines. Really, we were thrilled with the quality of work and how much they got done and how easy it was for my wife to work with them and how nice they were. It was a great deal. We ended up having a mix up because the painters didn't know the price was reduced so my wife over paid them, but the owner was super helpful in refunding our money and even offered to drive the check back to me the next day so we could replace it with one the correct amount and not worry about being overcharged. Really a great experience across the board.

Hired them to paint my rental unit prior to my new tenant moving in. They are very professional, punctual, and leave the place very clean. I have used them in the past and would highly recommend them!

Two sisters came out quickly after being contacted and had a quote to me next day. I was able to schedule them for the job a few weeks later. Staff was on time, polite, and friendly. There was an issue with the paint bubbling in spots a few weeks after the job was done, but they were quick to respond and sent someone out to fix it within a matter of days. Wonderful to work with and very meticulous! I will highly recommend them and plan to use them again in the future.

I thank my lucky stars I found Two Sisters on Angie's List. Debra was a sweetheart to work with and was able to squeeze us into her schedule on the days we needed. The painters were professional, lightning fast, trustworthy, and pleasant workers. They did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

I had contacted a couple of other painters and realized that I would have to wait at least a month to have a large bedroom and bathroom repainted. I then read the rave reviews (all deserved!) about Two Sisters Painting and gave them a call. Debra Dudas called me back that evening saying that she had had a cancellation and two painters could be there THE VERY NEXT DAY! Angie and Jim arrived on time and got straight to work. They didn't even flinch when they saw the very unprofessional way I had painted the bathroom a few years ago. They did a beautiful job repairing a crack in the wall. I am delighted with their work and appreciated their attention to detail. I will be calling them again soon!

Every thing went well. Painters were very courteous. Punctual and preformed very professional work. I am planning to hire then again for another property.

Worked with us on a tight schedule, even working on a holiday weekend.

Bob and his partner arrived at 8AM to help us with painting tasks--we requested help with 1 Bedroom, a bathroom ,and a hallway ceiling. Unfortunately they did not have the correct supplies (ladder) to complete the ceiling work; however, with the extra time they helped us prime another room and painted baseboards/trim. We see a few spots that were missed, but overall we are very pleased with their day of work--very friendly, professional, and hard-working. We will definitely use Two Sisters Painting again in the future!

had some initial scheduling issues and the wall colors were so deep that more paint was needed...everything went great and would definitely use these 2 great ladies again.

I recently moved into a new house who's garage was unfinished. While I purchased the service back in December, I wasn't ready for painting until the spring. When I called to schedule the appointment, they made a team available at my request. They painted the whole garage, stairs and door in under eight hours. They were neat and clean and I would use them again,

The wall paper removal did not go as well as I hoped. I know wallpaper removal can be difficult as I have done it myself. After several attempts in my laundry room to get the paper down it was decided to skim coat the walls instead of removal of the wall paper. There was only one consistent person here with the wall paper removal and she stuck with the job in the bathroom and got it done. The hallway and laundry room was attempted by a few others. Eventually the other wall paper was removed or skimmed and the painting was completed. One of the sisters, on inspection of the job came back and corrected some areas that she and I were not happy with and that area was repainted. The upstairs painting was done by a man who was their "painter". He did an excellent job and I was very pleased with the results. Overall, there were a few delays and some phone calls to see when the work would be completed but eventually everything got done to our satisfaction. Be careful if you think $99 wall paper removal for 3 hours will get a small room done... it will not.

GreThe painters, John and Jim and Mike the dry wall man ;did a great job. Shirley and Debra supervised appropriately. Debra did a final inspection to ensure my satisfaction. All these folks were pleasant and polite. I love how everything looks.

It was ok. The gentleman that came out to do the painting was friendly and accommodating. He work very hard and fast but he was not very particular careful about stuff like that. He was a very nice man and he did a lot in the 8 hours we had him. Unfortunately we had to clean up afterwards.

Keep in mind that we moved all the furniture, took everything off the walls (paintings, pictures, light switch and plug plates) and pulled blinds off so all they needed to do was prep and paint. I don't know if the company would have charged more if they would have had to do that work. The painters showed up on time as scheduled for the three days they worked. They were experienced and did a good job. Hardly any retouching needed. I was pleased overall with the work they did. My only gripe was that I got a sense that they only did what they were told to do and going above and beyond is not part of the deal. For instance, there were a few instances where I forgot to take a plate off a plug and rather then remove it, they painted around it. I guess for that price, they do what they do and nothing else. The owner came by when the job was done to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. All in all though a good experience and I am considering using them for an outdoor project.

They are punctual, careful, clean up after themselves, polite, helpful. I will definitely use them whenever I have painting needs.

She removed wallpaper in one of our bedrooms. She was prompt and did a great job removing it.
