My husband took the latch off and tried to fix it but was unable. He looked at Angie's list online and found Tinder Company. It said it had walk in service. He took the latch into the shop and they fixed in about 20 minutes. The lady who waited on him runs the place. She was able to fix the latch using the face plate from the original lock. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We would definitly use Tinder Company again.

We had a problem at the office. My wife called the locksmith. They told us how to fix it ourselves. I thought that was very kind of them. They did not charge us anything. They just told us to lubricate the lock and that is what we did. Once we did that, things worked pretty well. They were helpful and were not concerned about coming out on a service call where they would have charged us and told us the same thing. They were very responsive. They did not put us off. They told us what to do immediately. I think they were exceedingly professional. We will use them in the future.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. Technician (Doug O'Rear) was accomodating to my short notice on schedule change (I was half an hour late). He showed up on time and looked very professional. He worked quick and he was very knowledgeable. Rekeyed 7 cylinders in an hour (he was also able to rekey the ones I don't have the original keys for). He also fixed the catchplates on the doorjambs that were causing some sticking issues.

They're a company that's been around for a number of years. They had prompt service. the only thing was that it was a little bit pricey, but I guess for a specialty item like that, it's where is should be. They were available at the time I needed them out here so that was good. They seem to be knowledgeable and friendly.

I called to report that we were unable to unlock/lock our front door from the outside. They were able to schedule Sean to diagnose and fix the problem the same day. He gave me some welcome tips for keeping our locks functioning better and looked at an old lock in the door to see whether we could replace it and put it on the same key. He was pleasant, professional and tidy. I would use the company again and recommend them to others.

Things went exceptionally well. The guy was very professional. He was early, and he went above and beyond the call. He talked to us about our security system, and when he was rekeying the back door he made a few suggestions about security, like installing a motion detector light.

They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. It was a pleasant experience in that you just kind of go in with this old lock and say what can you do to replace this. They said to give them 48 hours and they would have the new lock put in and they did. I would absolutely use them again.

Their price was higher than what they represented it to be. I didn't think his work was especially neat. He didn't clean anything up. He made an assumption that I did not want something that I did.

We moved into a new home and wanted all the locks changed/updated. Tinder Co.'s representative, Bob, came to our home, inspected all locks and handles to be replaced, took measurements, and within a week e-mailed to us an estimate. We signed and faxed it back to them. They ordered all materials and, when they finally came in, notified us via e-mail and telephone and set up an installation date. Bob and his apprentice arrived on time with all the new materials, removed all old ones, and installed the new ones. About 2 weeks after the installation, we noticed that two of the door handles were not straight. After calling Tinder and explaining the problem, Bob returned the next day and, after profusely apologizing, fixed everything. We are very pleased with the products and work provided by Tinder Co. and would use them again if needed.

I had just recently had a new front door installed and there were a few adjustments that still needed to be made. I called them up and the president of the company came out that same Saturday to help me out. They did not even charge me for the work. I was very impressed with them.

I needed to have all locks changed on a home that was recently vacated. I went to the office and received good advice on what type of deadbolt to select depending on location to a window and for external application. I had planned a day of vacation later in the week hoping I could get the locks changed on that day, but an emergency came up and I ended up changing the installation date two more times. Tinder's does all the key work for our local church and that's alot of doors, locks and keys. We trust them to do good work at our house, too. We would definitely call them again. They keep their appointments right on time and solve the problem the first time.
