We had two exterior doors replaced and ended up with three exterior doors with different keys. The three doors were the same brand but the two new doors are more secure with three dead bolts each. Called Tinder and explained that I wanted one key for all the exterior doors. Received a next day appointment. Technician arrived at scheduled time. He was clean, professional and efficient. We have a door from the house to the garage that is also keyed. The technician discussed option and cost for having this door use the same key as the exterior doors. The work was done quickly and we received the Angies List discount. Very happy with the work.

I called the company to inquire about scheduling an appointment to have a few exterior door locks replaced, and had to leave a message. Someone returned my call within a few hours and after listening to my request suggested I actually only needed to re-key the locks and not replace them. This was a significantly cheaper approach and achieved the same end result I needed. I really appreciated the representative educating me on all available options and not trying to just push the more expensive option. I scheduled an appointment for a few days later. Wes arrived on time and was very professional. He thoroughly listened to my needs and asked clarifying questions to ensure he understood exactly what I wanted. He not only re-keyed the three doors I had originally requested, but he also painted one of the locks to better match the existing hardware! While he was there I showed him two storm door handles with locks that were sticking and he promptly fixed those as well. I am quite pleased with Wes and Tinder Locksmiths and will most definitely call them again and recommend them to others!

The locksmith showed up on time, the work was done very quickly and he was able to replace all fo the guts to the locks so that we just had one key. Even he was a little amazed but in my opinion this company went the extra mile to get us what we origionaly asked for. No one thought it was possible but this guy made it happen. Great job.

They came on time and immediately began to look at the door. For the first time in twenty years we were told that the entire mechanism could be replaced. In the past, someone has always just semi-fixed it. They also, suggested the new mechanism since the door is always locked from the inside, which can be a fire escape hazard. The lock was replaced, the door oiled and balanced, etc. For the first time in 20 years the knob actually works and the door shuts using its own weight. It is wonderful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I needed all of my locks re-keyed, so I contacted Tinder. The had someone at my house just a couple hours later. Jay came in, asked to see the doors and went to work. A short while later he was done, having re-keyed all the locks, made the number of keys I requested and told me that he had lubed the locks for easier use.

The service went well overall. I was locked out of a room which had my purse, keys, and everything that I would have needed to go anywhere or pay anyone. My husband reminded me that the previous owners had not left the key to the room, and I had made some failed attempts to gain entry. I looked on Angies List to find a locksmith and found this company. The receptionist was very pleasant as I explained my situation. She immediately took my information and promised that I would receive a call back. I received a call a few minutes later from Wes who was on his way. He was professional and had a good sense of humor regarding my situation. I had access to my stuff within an hour of calling Tinder. I appreciated the fact that the response was quick and appropriate for my immediate need. It was nice to continue on with my day without being stranded for hours or having to wait until another day for service. Thanks so much!

This was our first Angie's List contact and nervously anticipated the results. We were contacted within 24 hours and they easily accommodated an appointment date and time that worked best with us. Wes arrived with a professional yet personable demeanor and, in no time at all, managed to fix our front door lock that had been broken for ages. He even helped "walk us through" its successful operation (its an older lock/door). The price was very fair and he processed our Angie's coupon and credit card transaction there on the spot. This experience could not have been more perfect!

Pretty much everybody that I've used is looked up on Angie's List. I've been very happy with them. They were very prompt and did a good job. I thought he was fairly priced.

A month prior to this service I had them come out and put a deadbolt lock on a 1954 entry door that never had one. That experience went so well that when I needed to have all my locks rekeyed I called them again. This second experience with them went just as smoothly and well as the first. They were polite and professional on the phone setting up the appointment. The technician who did the work was professional, respectful and very thorough in his work. He checked all locks to be sure they worked without problem both before and after rekeying them. The cost was very reasonable. I will call on them again should I need any lock work done in future. I won't hesitate to give their name out to friends and family if any have a need for locksmith services.

Called Tinder Locksmith Service the day after a break in. They came out that day and added double deadbolts to all our exterior doors. They asked what color and type of locks I wanted and when I told them it was an older house, the craftsman brought out bronzed dead bolts that looked great. He was professional and courteous and helped make a day that was already stressful less so. He did a excellent job and cleaned up after himself.

Jay was very professional and did an excellent job. He showed up 15 minutes early and was fully prepared with his equipment. We had some difficulty with the locks that we provided him and he was very patient as we ran to the store to exchange the faulty hardware. We were misquoted over the phone as to the price of the service call ($20), but when asked about this Jay immediately changed the invoice with no further questions asked. Will most definitely call them in the future!

I went with them because of the good ratings in Angieslist. I thought that their price was reasonable and they were there within hours of me calling them.

The receptionist was friendly, but said that they wouldn't be able to come for four hours. The weather was terrible outside, so I went with another company that was able to arrive promptly.

The locksmith arrived promptly and spent 70 minutes fixing the three doors. He was very informative about each of the various problems and their solutions. Now all three of my doors work easily and I have a better set of keys to pass to friends and family. Should have done this years ago. I highly recommend Tinder Locksmith!!

We very extremely pleased and satisfied with the service of this company. They were friendly and responsive on the phone. They came exactly when I needed to schedule them. They were able to make the replacement at what I felt was a very reasonable cost. They were quick and efficient and I would highly recommend! We would definitely use them again!

Went great except I had a problem two days later. He returned and refixed it at no charge. He did not try to charge me for a new lock whichI wanted to avoid. He took a lot of time to explain why the door was not working properly so I could know what was happening. Very nice repair person named Jay.

I had used their services in the past too. When the locksmith was just starting out, he came by my house and tried to get the key out of my car but he couldn?t even after trying for half an hour. So he didn?t charge me anything. That?s why I just continued to use his services. My overall experience for the last job wasn?t quite as good as the experiences in the past. I will use his services forever.

Very well. I was worried that even though they are located close to me that they wouldn't send anyone out since it was very late. I called them (and several other emergency providers) and they were the only company that could come out. Great service, had me in the house within 5 minutes.

I called Tinder Co about a problem with my main entry door. The door knob plus slides came off while trying to open the front door. I tried to replace it but getting the latching parts to fit was a little out of my area of expertise. I called Tinder after seeing them on Angie's. The person who took the call was very professional and said they would send someone out. Bob Scott came out, sized up the problem and told me the knob was stripped, got a new one from his van and installed it along with all the parts that go with it. I showed him a problem I was having with another lock and he explained to me how to fix it myself. Very pleasant experience all in all.
