They put in $300 of work to get the machine running and to install a new muffler. I took the mower home and used it once and muffler came off. They picked it up to re fix. After 3 weeks of calling and being told they would call me back numerous times I finally talk to someone and they told me the engine block is cracked and will cost about $1000 to fix. I am blown away by the crappy customer service and disrespect showed to me. This company is disrespectful, incapable of working and diagnosing problems on mowers and not worthy of your business. I'd suggest going anywhere other than this place for your needs.

The Fix had repaired my snow thrower (would not start). I brought the machine home, but it was a couple weeks before I needed to use it with the next snow. The machine again would not start. And, in trying to start it the pull rope broke. I brought it back. They quickly (within a couple days) called to tell me it was ready. Before leaving their parking lot, they insisted that we start it together to make sure it was working. No charge for the re-work, including fix of the pull rope. The machine worked like a champ the remaining times I needed to use it through end of winter.

Great service- completed ahead of schedule! Would definitely use again. I had a coupon for $69 and some other minor repairs were needed and were done for a minimal charge. Estimated time to get the mower back was three weeks, but they completed it in two!

They picked up the blower a couple hours after I called them and told them it was leaking gas. After they repaired it, they delivered it back to my home. Since I wasn't home at the time, they carefully put the blower in the back yard behind the house out of view from the street.

The Fix Repair shop was very quick to pick up my mower which I appreciated. However, they were not forthcoming with an estimate for the time required. When I called back I was told it was in the queue and would be a week before they got to it. I was not pleased, but waited. After 9 days I had heard nothing, I called back and was told they would get to it the next day. I called 2 days later and the story was that it was next in line. I called late the next day to find out it was on the rack right now. They were having difficulty diagnosing the problem, but thought it might be the battery. However, they did not have a replacement battery on hand. I said I would pick up the battery and get a replacement. Got a call 30 minutes later (the first time they EVER called me) to say that they tried my battery in another mower - the battery was fine. They did finally determine the seat switch to be bad and replaced it. They then promptly delivered the mower to my home. So, their pick up service is punctual and works well. However, the shop service cannot be counted on.

All in all it was fair, they were courteous/professional through and through. Though I hope to not need to use this equipment before late 2014, I have no reason for not doing business with this co. again, and will plan to do so. One thing mentioned to me for the original delay was that the company was being sold to new owner and they'd been delayed a bit due to the transition of the accounting, etc. which makes sense. Overall a very good experience.

My snow thrower wouldn't come on even with the electric starter. I emailed Fix Repair shop because I was looking for somewhere close to home. They came to pick it up because it was heavier than I could load. They diagnosed it quickly (needed new carburetor) and called me with the quote. They dropped it back off cleaned up and working great. Thankfully right before the record snowfall started. I'd use them again for my mower.

They fixed my lawnmower. I took it to them and they only had it for a day and it works better than it did before. I like that they were responsive then I called them. When I went over to talk about bringing the lawnmower in, they had me bring it right away. They fixed that the problem and they sharpened my blades too. They did contact me before sharpening the blades and let me know what the diagnosis was and what the price would be. I thought the price was reasonable.

The service counter and technicians were friendly, very professional and prompt. I would recommend the and quot;Fix Itand quot; to anyone needing mower or power tool repair or purchase.

After having a terrible experience with another repair shop I took my mower to be repaired at The Fix. I was pleasantly surprised by their organization, attention to detail, and professional staff. They called with an estimate of repair cost and explained the repair in detail and answered all my questions. The called when the repair was complete and the pickup process was smooth and extremely organized. The mower is running great. I highly recommend this shop!

Called Fix and was able to schedule pickup of all equipment at my home the next day. Work was completed within 4 days on all items which was earlier than promised. They were even willing to use parts I had already purchased and serviced the Snapper and Echo equipment although they are not a dealer for either brand. Upon completion of the work, they called to discuss the status of the snow blower. Due to a blown engine, they advised that repair would likely be cost prohibitive compared to the price of new equipment. When I came to pick up equipment, everything was in good working order, they even showed me the snow blower damage and explained in detail what had happened. Very professional and efficient. Have also purchased a Stihl gas hedge trimmer from The Fix.. will continue to do business with them.

Mark's a true professional. Provides solid estimates and completes what he says will be completed. Also willing to speak frankly about the timeframe in which work can be expected to be completed (and then follows through to meet the timing). His prices seem very reasonable, including his pick up and delivery fees.

He is knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely responsive. Reasonable rates and has good turnaround time on all repairs. But the customer service experience he offers is second to none. You know that feeling you get when you finally feel you've found a great service provider....someone that you can trust?? Well, Mark is exactly that type of guy. I'll be using him for all of my small engine repair needs in the future.
