The Cleaning Break is a professional home cleaning company, operating in northeast Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Geist area, Fortville, and Noblesville. All of the employees are fully bonded and insured. All employees undergo backgrounde checks. The employees are full-time, and The Cleaning Break pays their taxes, social security, and other payroll fees. Employees are trained in cleaning methods with DVDs and quizzes. In addition, the team leader guides new employees through their learning experience. Homes also undergo random inspections to maintain the level of quality. The Cleaning Break wants to establish a relationship with its customers and maintain flexibility and personalization for the customers' needs. Pricing is most appropriately performed through an in-home estimate, placing the potential customer under absolutely no obligation. Description of Work: I used this company for 4 cleanings. After I pointed out concerns each time, they seemed to fall on deaf ears. Once I cancelled, the owner complained about his staff in emails. Complete lack of professionalism.

Response from The Cleaning Break
As the owner I was apparently more committed to quality than my workers. I do not disagree with the member's statements. The previous errors were discussed with the workers, who did not carry out my directions. This is very discouraging to be ignored by your own workers, and this is one of the reasons for my closing. The Cleaning Break is under new ownership with new employees. Give the new owner a chance. Thank you

The deep clean was done OK with only a few spots missed. The subsequent cleaning service was oversll poor. I continued to point out issues that were not addressed. Over the holiday they were late arriving. I called the owner who was not concerned. He had one of the cleaning staff call me who was extremely unprofessional. He then sent me an "ugly" email. I no longer use the service. A collegue of mine used the service felt the same issues and no longer uses them. This would not be a firm that meets the high quality of other Angie's list service providers.
Description of Work: The Cleaning Break is a cleaning service. They did a deep clean of my home and then routine cleaning every other week.

As the owner/operator of the company, I will keep my response short. While I would like to address her points individually, there is no reason. Customers also have responsibilities, something the Member does not appreciate. To be clear, she said she no longer uses my company's services. This is because MY COMPANY fired HER as a client. Put another way, MY COMPANY told HER we would no longer return. Yes, I guess this would be an ugly email in her mind, being dismissed. This was on December 23rd, her last clean. My workers are very good and clean well, even when we are met with spaghetti sauce apparently deliberately splattered all over the cabinets, not a few bubbles from the sauce pot. I support my workers, and they do not need to put up with abuse from customers, quite frankly. New customers can make up their own minds as to our cleaning. I am responsive to customers requests on cleaning and timing. Had the Member needed my workers there at a different time, she could have notified me as to her specific time requirements. She did not do this. Member, let's all move on. I discharged you approximately 7 weeks ago. I am sure someone was willing to take our place. Thank you for allowing me to address her issues.

The Cleaning Break has cleaned my home several times over the past several months. Each time the team is at my home, they are courteous, friendly & professional, and they do a great job cleaning my 2-story home. I am currently on the 1x/month cleaning rotation.
