THE BELLE'S CLEANING SERVICE

I cannot stress enough how much we like Maria and her company. We have been using her for years in two different houses and have used her for so long that we honestly consider her a friend of the family. Whenever she arrives she wants to see the kids and hold the babies and always asks about our family. The dog also loves her. (I think the dog treats may have something to do with it.) An interesting story: Several years ago we lived in an older house when we started using her. At one point while cleaning the shower the soap dish fell off of the wall. Her husband came over to see about the repair and it was discovered that the whole shower would have to be retiled. As thanks for the referrals we had given her they did the entire job for the cost of materials! We were honestly shocked.

Maria is a very nice and courteous lady. She brought with her a lady that would be doing some of the cleaning. I thought Maria had the issues well in hand, but the worker she brought with her could not communicate at all in English, and everything that Maria and I spoke of was translated into Spanish for the worker. They were both very nice ladies, but I just felt I would not be able to adequately communicate with workers in my home who were not able to converse well in English. My goal this year is to brush up on the Spanish I learned way back a zillion years ago in high school and college. But, for now, especially while I am in my organizational phase for my needs for cleaning, the language barrier is an issue, so I opted not to hire them.
