SC Masonry ours a great company that was on time they did the work like I wanted it done show me what needs to be done and did everything that they told me they was going to do and did it right no more problems I will hire them in the future

An appointment was scheduled the day after I contacted them. The technician arrived on time and resolved the issue within minutes. I will hire them the next time I have an issue with my fireplace/chimney.

SC masonary was on time for their appointment Tim explain why the chase cover was bad screws got put in for five different spots all over the top of the chimney so I need to be replaced he also gave me a good price I am going to have them come back out after they install the chase cover give me another estimate on some other work

What a nightmare! If you have plenty of patience, do not mind a 3 day job lasting 7 weeks and love to have people show up at your house unannounced, this is the company for you. The 3 day job started on 10/1/2019. I was told that a crew would be sent to my house but only Larry showed up. I did not even know he was coming that day. No call from the company to let me know when the work would begin. He worked on my house for 8 days, ran out of material and the work was not completed. My driveway was blocked during these 8 days because that is where he setup shop. The top for my chimney was delayed so he said he would return when the top was ready and complete the job. I never saw Larry again. 10/12 Received a call at 8:22am from someone who calls himself TW, L Woodson on the caller ID. He told me that he was coming to my house to collect the final payment on the work that had been done on my house. I told him the metal work was not completed and the top had not been replaced on my chimney. He told me that I needed to read my contract and that he would be at my house today to collect the money. I hung up on him and called Shane. Shane listened but offered no apology for the rude call from TW. I have no idea who this person is. 10/17 Met with Brian by appointment to show him the problems with the metal work on my house. He assured me the problems would be fixed to my satisfaction. 10/22 Martin shows up around 9:00 to install the top on my chimney. No one called to let me know he was coming so I had no idea who he was. I did not answer my door so he just hung around until I finally opened the door to find out who he was. He installed the chimney top. 10/23 Martin shows up again, no appointment, to put the missing metal on the wood above my garage. I asked him if he would be fixing the other problems and he said he was only supposed to install the missing metal. 10/29 TW, aka L Woodson, leaves a voicemail message requesting the final payment on the work. I have no idea who this man is. 10/31 TW, aka L Woodson, leaves another voicemail message requesting final payment. Then he shows up at my house, leaves a note on the door and takes a picture of the note that he left. 11/1 Shane shows up at my house at 3:21 without calling ahead to let me know. I had just had surgery on 10/29 and was sleeping. I put on my house coat and house shoes and walked around the house to show him the problems. To make a very long an agonizing story an little shorter, three guys that said they work for Tim showed up to complete the job and used the wrong material on my house. Then Steve and Steve who work for John showed up with the correct material but had no idea how to do the job. 11/18 John had a 1:00 appointment to come and fix the problems that the Steves created. He showed up at 1:30, worked until he ran out of materials and made an appointment to return on 11/21 at 9am. 11/20 John showed up, unannounced, to finish the work instead of keeping his appointment for 11/21. I sent Shane an email to tell him once again that I would not tolerate anyone showing up at my house without an appointment. He proceeded to tell me that the work was done and John would be at my house between 1 and 2 tomorrow to collect final payment. I told him that I would not tolerate anyone showing up at my house again and requested that he send me a bill. He said that do not send bills and John would be coming to my house. About an hour later he came to his senses and let me know what the final bill was via email. John called me the following day to tell me the address to send the check. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am so glad the nightmare of dealing with them is finally over.
