Signed contract July 1, 2013 with work to begin approximately October 31st, 2013. The estimate was $4,124.00. Damaged windows were removed the middle of September. The work was to be completed within approximately 14 days from October 31.Weather and holiday were un avoidable delays so that the job was complete December 3. Final cost was 4,867.94 which is close to the estimate considering necessary sill replacement which could not be seen when estimate was made. Brenden Fitzgerald, owner of Monon Sash, was exceptional to work with. He returned e-mail and phone calls within minutes answering all my questions. Brenden and the carpenter showed up exactly when they said they would and worked quickly and efficiently. There was no disruption in the house dispite having 10' of wall removed to be repaired. The opening was secured perfectly with plywood panels. The work site was left as clean inside and outside as it was before they did the work. The carpentry workmenship is excellent and match the old windows almost exactly - a hard thing to match 103 year old windows that were custom built in the begining. If you had a rating higher than A I would give it to this company. I found this company through a neighhood news paper instead of your listings for window repairs. I had 5 other companies look at the project from your listings and none wanted to do what I needed and with the terrible problems I had with a roofing company that was getting A on your listings I decided to go another route. This company should be listed for people with older homes.
