After 3 attempts for over a week this "A" rated painting company has not responded at all. Not an "I'm busy, I'll get back to you" or "we aren't taking any more jobs right now". No response whatsoever.

Michael is a perfectionist who treats your work as if he were doing it for his home. He has a great eye for details. Our decorator had chosen a paint for the trim that didn't exactly match the doors and Michael painted the trim around one of the doors to show how it wouldn't work. He then took the door off and had the paint matched to the door. He reprinted the trim and didn't charge us extra for his efforts. In doing the woodworking he was very frugal in purchasing materials (while keeping high quality). We were so pleased with to he quality of his work he have hired him to do some future work for us. Even though the price rating was only rated and quot;goodand quot; you definitely get excellent quality for your money. I will only use Michael in the future.

Michael is an experienced and knowledgable painter as well as a professional and trustworthy person. He was punctual and communicative throughout the process. Overall, working with Michael was a very good experience.

We've worked with MC Painting and Design during several remodeling jobs in our home. During the most recent experience, Michael removed wallpaper from a foyer and stairway prior to painting it. He not only is a skilled painter but he also takes great care in prepping each area, as needed. This surface was not prepared properly by the previous owner, so Michael spent hours very carefully removing the wallpaper and residual paste from the area. After each work session, the area was perfectly clean with all supplies put away. He also painted the guest bath during this project and worked closely with us to choose colors and view samples before applying the Venetian plaster. Michael's work is excellent. When we decided to paint our dining room, we were very undecided about what color to choose. We thought that a faux finish might be interesting and Michael suggested that we consider a deep red leather look. At the onset and at each step in the process, he cautioned us -- wisely, as it turned out -- not to be concerned about how each layer looked -- it was the final result that was important. He was right... we tried to ignore the blue tape (smile) and eventually saw a beautiful, rich-looking finished look. Although his estimates were higher than other painters, we really liked the results, would use him again, and recommended him to friends.

It took about 5 or 6 weeks for him to start because he had another big job in progress. If you are in a hurry, it could be a problem. Probably need to notify him ahead of time that you have a job coming up. He usually works alone in residential situations.

I TRIED TO RE-STAIN MY FRONT DOOR MYSELF. WHEN I WAS FINISHED I THOUGHT IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER. I MESSED THE DOOR UP VERY BADLY. A LOT OF PAINTERS WOULD NOT FIX THE DOOR FOR ME BECAUSE I MADE SUCH A MESS OF IT, BUT MICHAEL RESTORED THE DOOR FOR ME. HE WORKED EXTREMELY HARD AND HE SAVED ME FROM HAVING TO REPLACE THE DOOR.

GREAT TO WORK WITH. CLEAN UP WAS GREAT, VERY TRUSTWORTHY.

ONE MAN OPERATION, WHICH MEANS IT MAY TAKE A BIT LONGER, BUT ENSURES PERSONAL SERVICE and EXCELLENT RESULTS FROM A MAN WHO TREATS EACH PROJECT AS THOUGH IT WERE HIS OWN HOME. NOT THE LEAST EXPENSIVE, BUT I FEEL YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR FROM THIS PAINTER, CAPABLE OF FAUX FINISHES, EXCELLENT WITH COLOR.
