Lee's Complete Drain Service LLC

Ive been using Gary for nearly 20 years. He never lets me down. When he comes to clean the drain I seem to always need something else. Last time he cleaned my drain and fixed my garage door opener. This time he also installed a range hood making sure the fan and light worked. He was kind enough to agree to meet a competitors price for the drain cleaning . I dont know what I would have done without him all these years, and recommend him highly.

Very well! Got a call the day before to verify our appointment and a call about 30 minutes before he arrived. Finished the work quickly and cleaned up after himself. So nice to have those drains clear!

It went well. Lee was able to unclog the drain on the day I called. He charged what he said he would. The work was done in a few hours for unclogging the drain, and then about 5 hours the next day to break up the concrete and repair the line. He knew what he was doing, was thorough - running the cable all the way out to the street and 40 feet beyond, and cleaning up every bit of dirt in the basement the next day after digging out the pipe to repair it.

Lee showed up right away. He was very knowledgeable and gave sound advice on how to avoid the problem in the future. We will definitely continue to use Lee!

I called and left a message. My call was returned quickly. I said that my basement had flooded, and my sump pump had stopped working. I was trying to see if something was clogging it, so I poked a mop handle into the well and disconnected the float. The pump would work if I manually turned it off and on. I didn't leave it on without being there. When I talked to Lee, he said that he was at a job but would call on his way here. He did. When he arrived, he looked at my water heater first. It's less than 2 years old, and the wire from the electronic sparker was disconnected. He fixed that and got it lit. (Thank you for a hot shower!)
He checked the sump pump. He said he could reattach the float, but the pump itself was only working part of the time. He explained how it worked and where all this water was coming from. He gave me a replacement cost and could do it right then. I said yes.
I have lived here less than 2 years so I have no idea how old that pump was, and this is the first house I've ever lived in with a sump pump. I had him do the job. He had one with him. (With all the flooding the past month, I'm sure I wasn't his first call.) He did it quickly, and I had to chuckle when he asked if I had a broom to sweep up the "crumbs" on the floor where he had sawed the connector pipe. (The basement is still full of flood-soaked things and is a mess.)
He was very professional, fast, answered all my questions, explained things I didn't know, and when he left I felt like I not only had hot water and a potentially dry basement, but a lot more knowledge about my house.

All drains were extremely slow. Didn't know if they were frozen or just clogged. Gary showed up within 24 hrs of call. Due to the age of the house and add ons' over the years, it was difficult to determine where the clog was. Gary stuck with it and after several different ways of attacking the problem was able to find the problem. Great guy and excellent service.

No more sewer backup in house or yard.  Bathtub still draining fine and we put a mesh liner in the tub drain, per Lee's suggestion.  Also, the area to the side of the house that is routinely wet is drier, obviously, because water is going into the sewer line as required.  (This was water only, not from toilets but from washers, etc.)  Disposal and dishwasher working great! We have used many plumbers and found Lee on the closed Irvington neighbors group page.  Lee said that he gets a great many clients from recommendations made on that page but I also told him, as I do, all providers that I am an Angies List member and all providers are happy I tell them and often give me discounts because of this membership.  Lee was professional in all ways, explained all his findings every step of the way, provided all options that he could think of and, having experienced the insidiousness of unencumbered water running through a house, we believe his prices to be perfectly fair and appropriate.  He is a busy man who makes sure to get you in and keep you informed when he is running late.  He prioritizes plumbing needs appropriately from emergencies to things we can put off and, as I said, is a hard worker.  We will use him again and I have recommended him to others.

He did an excellent job. He was extremely professional and he knew exactly what he was doing. He added a clean out tube so anytime the drains get clogged it will be very easy to clear them.

On the recommendation of my regular plumber (who doesn't clear drains) I called Lee's Complete Drain Service for a kitchen drain that stopped running. I expected to schedule an appointment but instead he said "I'm close to you now, I'll be right over." Within an hour after I called, he drove over, took apart the drain, reamed the line out several times and got it running smoothly. The clog turned out to be somewhere under the concrete basement floor. His electric snake was able to travel from my sink all the way through the pipe under the basement floor without having to access any other traps. Nice friendly person, excellent service.

I contacted Lee's Complete Drain Service to give us an estimate for replacement of 2 spigots.  Gary took down our information, and due to a cancelation, was about to come out the same day.  We were very pleased with his professionalism, and we felt the estimate was a very reasonable price so the work was scheduled only a few days out.  The day of service, Gary called prior to arrival, and was a few minutes earlier than his scheduled arrival.  The work was completed quickly, Gary and Charlie left no mess behind.  We are exceptionally pleased with the service overall, and would highly recommend Lee's to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.

This review is long, long overdue because I am a property manager and have used Lee's Complete Drain several times in the last year.  He has around 35 years of experience and knows how to fix old plumbing, which is especially a relief because I live and manage in the Meridian Kessler area (not too far from Broad Ripple) and even if he has to go get parts or order them and come back a second time, his rates seem more than reasonable to me.  He's a very patient man and takes time to explain what's wrong and if there is anything preventative that can be done to ward off future problems, he gives a recommendation.  I would rate him A++++++.  Would not ever consider using anyone else.

Husband tried to get to clog but couldn't over Memorial weekend so we called first thing Tues morning and he come out within an hour, snakeded the drain and explained garbage disposals don't like fried cabbage or any cabbage for that matter.  He checked the other drains of the line and was finished in an hour.  Very personable while still professional - well worth the money for the quick turnaround and great job done.

We had a great experience with Lee's. Our basement flooded after a 5 inch rainfall due to root blockage from a tree in our front yard. I found Lee's in Angie's List. He came within 2 hours of my call and spend 3 hours removing a major blockage. We live in an 80+ year old house in the Broad Ripple area with the original sewer line. Rather than giving up and suggesting that we replace the sever line, as most of my neighbors have, he persevered until he got through to the main sewer line. I would estimate he saved me $8,000 over the cost of a new line. After learning my lesson this time, I will have the company clean my line proactively every 2 years from now on.

Used my washer, then went outside to get ready to mow and noticed the cap had blown off my main drain and there was water, paper etc. under my shrubs in front.  I had Lee's Drain Cleaning here on Aug. 10.  I called Mr. Lee and told him what had happened.  Luckily he wasn't far and came right over.  He cleaned the drain again with a larger cutter and said he didn't get many roots, and he said it was possible something else had stopped it up.  Since I had a 6 month warranty, he didn't charge me. While he was here I asked him to give me quotes on a couple other projects.  He stands behind his work which is a comfort.

Called Mr. Lee early evening. When I used my washer, my toilets lost all their water and I could hear the pipes gurgling in both bathrooms.  That usually means my main drain is clogged with roots.  He called back and I told him I wasn't an emergency, and tomorrow would be fine.  I did tell him I had a coupon from Angies list from a competitor for $79 and asked if he wanted to do it for that or if he'd prefer I call them.  I always use him , and assured him I'd call him next time, so he wouldn't lose me as a client.  He said he would come for his competitor's coupon price.  He came the next afternoon and cleaned the drain.and gave me a 6 mo. warranty, which is important to me.  I would highly recommend Mr. Lee for any project he feels qualified to do.

Overall Lee is a great guy who seems cheerful and experienced, and I recommend him to anyone. Though he was hired by our realty company and we had no say in who was utilized, I would certainly give him a call if I had a plumbing or drain issue in my own home, if I owned one. I always look for service providers that have a good personality, and Lee fits the bill.

Called Mr. Lee  the evening of  December.23rd.    My washer was draining, and I had a front lawn full of water.  I wasn't really an emergency,  so we agreed he'd come the next morning.  He called  to make sure I still needed him and arrived within a half hour and promptly went to work cleaning out the main drain.  He got out a lot of tree roots.  He had me run  water thru the lines to make sure they were open and warranty'd  it for 6 months.    

I used  Mr Lee before.  It was 5-2009.  Since that lasted 2 1/2 years, with trees and older lines,  I felt he'd done a good job.  Thats why I called him again.  He gives a senior discount, which I appreciate.   Before leaving, I told him  cold water was coming out of my washer in a trickle so I had to use warm  and ask if  he'd want to take a look on another date.   When he finished the drain,  he said, wheres that washer, he stepped in my laundry room, pulled out my antique washer and found out the cold water valve was shut almost off.   I'd had my washer repaired some time ago, so I'm assuming it could have happened then.  Anyway, he fixed it.  When I ask what I owed him he said Merry Xmas.   This was Saturday,  xmas eve.  when he could have easily raised his fees.  
           
                      

They came out the same day I called, they were very professional and clear in explaining what they were going to do, they were efficient in fixing everything, and they cleaned up after themselves. They also gave me some advice on things to do to avoid a future issue. The price was what I expected after looking at the cost of similar projects with a range of plumbers on Angie's list. Essentially, they were great, and should I have a similar problem, I'll definitely call them.
