I pay $35 weekly for a one-half acre lot. He is dependable and does things that we ask him to do. If we want something a little extra done he is accommodating and does a good job.
Description of Work: I use Brian Watson of Lawnscapes Cut & Care for weekly lawn service.

In the 2-3 years we provided mowing services at this house we NEVER were paid in a timely manner. Our invoices are due upon receipt for the previous months work. This homeowner would take over 90 days in some cases to send payment and that would only come after 3 past due notices were sent out. This customer claims to be a small business owner themselves and should therefore know full well how it hurts to have people not pay on time. Contractors should be warned of this customer not the other way around!

One of the trees that they cut down landed on the roof. This damaged the roof, the fascia, as well as the gutters. They also damaged the driveway as well. I called the police about a chainsaw running in a tree while they took an injured crew member to the hospital. The owner became verbally abusive to me after I complained to them. They were very unprofessional and I feel that they don't know what they are doing

THEY CAME & GAVE AN ESTIMATE, & I EXPLAINED THE SCOPE OF THE JOB. LATER THEY DIDN'T BRING THE AMOUNT OF EQUIPMENT I INDICATED THEY NEEDED. THIS CAUSED THEM TO RAISE THE PRICE, & I ENDED UP HELPING WITH THE WORK. RESULTS ARE OK THOUGH.

FOR THIS JOB, LAWNSCAPES STAYED WITH THE ORIGINAL QUOTE FOR CLEAN-UP TO THE FENCE LINE. AFTER THIS WAS FINISHED THE CUSTOMER ASKED THAT WE CONTINUE CLEAN-UP TO THE NEXT FENCELINE, WHICH WAS SIX FEET FURTHER BACK AND REQUIRED ANOTHER 4-5 HOURS WORK FOR THREE WORKERS. WHEN WE INITIALLY ARRIVED TO PERFORM THE WORK, WE DID HAVE ALL OF THE APPROPRIATE TOOLS. ON THAT DAY, AS SOMETIMES HAPPENS, WE EXPERIENCED EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTIONS. THIS REQUIRED ME TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL TOOLS, AND WITHIN 45 MINUTES ALL EQUIPMENT WAS REPAIRED OR REPLACED. FINALLY, NO CUSTOMER IS EVER ASKED BY LAWNSCAPES TO PITCH IN ON THE WORK WE ARE PERFORMING. THERE ARE MANY REASONS, BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT RELATES TO INSURANCE COVERAGE. THIS JUST DOES NOT PERMIT ANYONE OTHER THAN MY WORKERS TO USE MY EQUIPMENT. IN THIS CASE THE HOMEOWNER WAS PICKING UP STICKS AND RAKING IN AREAS WHERE WE WERE NOT WORKING AT THE TIME. AS A BUSINESS OWNER, I JUST DO NOT FEEL IT IS MY PLACE TO INFROM THE HOMEOWNER THAT THEY MUST VACATE THEIR OWN YARD (WHEN THEY ARE NOT IMPEDING THE WORK). THERE WAS NEVER ANY DISCUSSION BETWEEN THE CUSTOMER AND LAWNSCAPES AS TO A NEED FOR HELP. THE CUSTOMER SIMPLY STARTED WORKING IN THE YARD AND WOULD PERIODICALLY COME OUTSIDE AND WORK FOR A SHORT TIME THEN GO BACK INSIDE TO ESCAPE THE HEAT. WHEN ALL WORK WAS DONE THE CUSTOMER PRAISED THE FINAL JOB AND WAS VERY HOSPITABLE WITH COLD DRINKS AND THE LIKE.
