JONES PAINTING

Went perfectly, William Jones was prompt and professional, has a good website, is lead paint certified, provides detailed estimates and contracts, pleasant to work with. I have had a number of painters over the years, and Jones Painters tops the list. Will be using again, for interior and exterior work.

Extremely friendly, prompt and careful. He will be doing some interior work for us this winter.

Mr. Jones was very professional. After visiting to assess the job, he quickly followed up with an email and hard copy estimate. References were provided. The first day of the job Mr. Jones walked around room by room and discussed the job with his painters. They were very neat, protected the floor and furniture as well as extensive wood trim, and did a very nice job. My husband and I were very satisfied.

Quickly received detailed estimate. Scheduled work stared a few days late due to weather, but Mr Jones was in contact with me. Scraped, primed, caulked, painted. Very fast, quiet, professional. Cleaned up and stacked supplies every evening. Will use again.

Painter showed up at the appointed time and was carefull bringing in supplies and controlling dust from the repairs. Owner (mr. Jones) checked in during and after the job. They knew what they were doing and completed the job in 1 1/2 days. Very efficient with quality work.No trace of any water damage when they were done.

William came out to give an estimate immediately after I called him. The estimate was succinctly done by measurements and a written copy mailed to me, as well as communication by e-mail. The estimate was very detailed and included an Angies List discount, a nice suprise! The discount allowed us to have some additional work done.After the initial work, William walked through again and we reviewed a few minor touch-ups that were needed on the drywall. This was done and the painting looks great! I was please with the quality of the workmanship, professional approach and clear communication. William was easy to work with and Todd and Paul who did our work were polite, neat and even labelled the leftover paint cans for us. I think they should be given a Super Service Award for 2010 and a POH Award. It's rare to find contractors so sincere and thorough.

It went very well. We had gotten estimates from several different companies. We chose Jones painting because of their experience and references. We felt that William Jones was a good family man as well. We had some rather limiting weather restrictions as to when the work could be done. Jones Painting had no problem with this and worked with us very well to schedule the work. They came to perform the work and did a wonderful job. Our upper-exterior trim is now very well painted and protected against the elements. They did a great job! We look forward to using them again in the future.

I received three estimates for this job. I chose Jones Painting over the other two due to price and responsiveness. The owner (William Jones) responded quickly to my request for an estimate. He emailed it to me within 24 hours of his visit. I called him to discuss scheduling and he was able to do the job within just over a week of my call. We set a date and I returned the contract acceptance. The job was to take two days ? one day to stain and one day to finish. Unfortunately, he did not show up on the date we had set. When I called the morning he was supposed to show, we discovered the he had one digit wrong in my phone number. He apologized and asked if he could come the next two days instead. It meant working on a Saturday and checked to make sure that was acceptable to me. It was. He showed up the next day right on time, actually he was a bit early, which was great. He began and I headed off to work. When I came home all the windows and door were stained and looked great. Mr. Jones did an outstanding job of matching the existing woodwork. I was extremely pleased. Promptly the next morning, he returned with another member of his crew. Mr. Jones walked the crewmember through the job and left. The work was completed in the early afternoon. The crewmember and I looked at each window and door before I wrote the check and the work was terrific. To say that I am satisfied with the work that was done is an understatement. I would not hesitate to contract with Jones Painting, again.

Mr. Jones is a great communicator. The estimates are prompt and very detailed. We were able to easily change details of the work to be done since the components were so clearly laid out. We will be using them again very soon for some interior work.

This is the second time I have hired Jone's Painting and again I am very pleased with the company's services. I had previously hired him to paint the entire interior of my home. This is a family owned business and they do great work. He has a great crew that he schedules according to size of the job so it moves quickly. I have already recommended his company to others.

The company was professional throughout the process and did a great job. They showed up when they said they would, and finished on time. The walls looked wonderful when they were done. They treated my home with care, and cleaned up after themselves. I didn't have any problems or complaints, and I am extremely happy with the results.

We had severe water damage to the ceiling in our bathroom. William arrived promptly to give me an estimate. He followed up with us after sending an estimate via email and US mail. We hired him to do the work and he scheudled the work within a couple days of my call. He was very prompt and professional. Our ceiling needed to have a section replaced and then the ceiling needed to be texturized to match and then painted. He did the repair work in one day and returned the next day to paint. After painting, a small crack appeared that did not show up before he painted. When we noticed it, he evaluated it and immediately repaired that section of the ceiling to my satisfaction. One thing that impressed me the most besides great care in the work he did was the clean up. He was very careful to clean up after himself. The repair was a messy job in a very small space, but he took great care in cleaning up all the mess.

Great service - quick to respond, helped plan the project and weigh different options (like chalkboard paint), provided a detailed estimate, got started within 3 days of signing the contract. The painters were unobtrusive, did a fantastic job, and cleaned up afterward.

William gave us an estimate that we felt was in line with the other painters we talked to. He was polite, professional, always on time and went out of his way to make us happy. We are picky and we were very satisfied with the job he did for us. He was always here when he said he was going to be which was a welcome relief after dealing with subs who were not on time.

The faux painting that he did was absolutely stupendous. His men did some interior painting for us on a lower level, it was okay but there wasn't great attention to detail. I would use the faux painter again, but not the general painters.

Contacted Mr. Jones to paint bedrooms and closet prior to moving into our house. He was professional and quality of work was outstanding. Will definitely use his services again in the future.

Very professional. Jones did a previous subcontract job that was fine. That is why we solicited this quote.

It worked out very well. Their prices were very reasonable. He worked with me before the job and negotiated with me when I investigated who I would have to do the work. He came out the winner because he was patient and worked with me to get a competitive bid, coming down in his price. He was also very professional.

William scheduled an appointment with me to come out to our home - he arrived on time. William spent some time measuring the areas and checking out the space. He gave me a quote and brochure and let me know he could start within a couple of weeks. We ended up having our well/septic go out on us and it was a very expensive project we didn't see coming. With that said, we were unable to hire William at this time for the painting. Overall he was very polite, followed up when promised and had a fair price. When we need painting done in the future we will be contacting William.
