It turned out well. They showed up on time and did the work quickly for a reasonable price.

We obtained several quotes for our driveway work and JDS Hauling gave us the lowest quote. My husband had observed work they had done at other homes in our neighborhood and felt they had done good work. We might have been leery of the cheapest quote if it hadn't been for that. JDS Hauling (Jesse Davis, owner and contractor) gave alot of attention to detail, he was willing to discuss with us the details and to change some of them to match what we desired. The concrete he used is, we believe, the best driveway concrete available 4500 psi (pounds per square inch) fiber re-inforced concrete. His employees (two only, for better control of the work he said) were very competent in their respective roles. The forms for the driveway, walk and step were completed in one day; part of the driveway, walk and step were poured one day, and the last part of the drive another day. The brick wall was also removed on the first day of work. Everything he promised in the beginning was completed; and he returned two or three time to follow up and make sure we were pleased with his work. Without reservation we would recommend JDS Hauling for any concrete work one might have. In addition to all of the above, my husband experienced a medical emergency the day they were finishing up the project and he was able to call out the bedroom window for help. Jesse came in, helped him up off the floor onto the bed, got him a drink of water, and called me at work to tell me he was ill. I came right home and determined he needed to go to ER and Jesse and his co-worker came in and got Bill up from bed and walked him to the car, which I could not have done by myself. Jesse then called me the following day to inquire as to my husband's health and if he was OK or not. It had been determined by then that he was suffering from pneumonia. I was most grateful for the assistance and compassion shown by these men.
