Description of Work: So I originally purchased the $99 handyman for 4 hrs deal in order to have the vanity in my bathroom taken out, have a new one put in, have the toilet taken out, new floor put down, and 50 sq ft feet of stone backsplash placed on the main wall of my bathroom two new towel racks put up, a toilet paper dispenser put up, and a new mirror put up. | |Apparently they specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodels. | |These guys work fast, they are experienced, knowledgeable, and they are very nice! | |It took them 8 hours to finish my bathroom meaning I paid $99 for four hours and $42/hr x 4 hours= $168+99= $267 for the labor for my entire bathroom. | |That is a crazy good deal! I would have paid the regular $42 for all eight hours of work as they did a very good job. | |After this initial work I also hired them back to put in my over the stove microwave for $150 when Lowe's was going to charge me $213 for the same thing. I also had them put together a book shelf and entry way table for me. | |I plan on having them over again to put some back splash in my kitchen. | |My only complaint is he was throwing his cigarette butts in my yard. I find it disgusting and wish he would have disposed of them properly. I had to go around my yard picking them up after they left. | |Besides that, they are good workers, especially for the price.

Description of Work: I had a list of projects that needed attention and pick up a Housemasters big deal. Gary and his partner showed up even a bit early. They started on the inside matters, then went on to tackle the outside projects. The guys did a good job and I would hire them again when the need arises.

Description of Work: Odds and ends handy man work around the house

Description of Work: The man checked my grout and sealant. I had to go over his work and ask him to redo things. He dropped caulk in my living room. I had to clean up after him in bathroom. |He went outside twice. Both times, he smoked a cigarette and left the stubs in my driveway. |he was very respectful and friendly, but I had to ask him to caulk around the faucets in the bathroom. His caulking around the faucet in kitchen was uneven. I would not have him back. |It makes me wonder about other services from Angie's list.

Description of Work: He me let me double check his work and I found more spots for new grouting 2 or 3 times. I then found more places in the shower the next night. He needs to be more thorough but so do I when I check. So if I have him back I will have to be really diligent in my double check.

Description of Work: Gary Doty arrived on time and re-grouted my master bathroom tile. He did a very good job - looks great.

Description of Work: I contacted this provider through an Angie's List deal of grout service for $89 Gary showed up on time, and was thoughtful removing his shoes due to the Winter weather conditions upon entering our home. In addition to doing all the requirements of the deal, I asked how much additional he would charge to seal the grout. He quoted an extremely reasonable price and I agreed. He also repaired a leg on the bathroom sink that was loose as a courtesy. Gary is a handyman around the house, and I saw that he was genuine in his concern of doing the best possible job; taking pride in his work. I asked Gary to quote me a price for some electrical work and also let him know that we have several other minor concerns that we would like for him to address. Gary was very willing to work with us. For me part, we have a new handyman for our home. I honest can say you if you want the job done correctly without the " frills " you can't go wrong with Housemasters.

Description of Work: HAD A LEAK FROM CHIMNEY RUNNING INTO WALL OVER FIREPLACE. GARY CHECKED AND CAULKED POSSIBLE PROBLEMS, THEN DETERMINED THAT IT WAS GUTTER COMING AWAY FROM HOUSE. HE NAILED IT BACK AND ASSURED ME THAT THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED. IF IT IS FIXED, I WILL CALL AGAIN TO HAVE INSIDE WALL REPAIRED.

Description of Work: VERY FRIENDLY, PROMPT, RESPONSIVE AND QUALITY WORK. HE COMPLETED SEVERAL SMALL JOBS (FIXED SCREEN DOOR, BROKEN LIGHT SOCKET, SMALL PLUMBING INSTALL, CHANGED HIGH CEILING LIGHT BULB). HE FINISHED WITHIN 1 HOUR. HE WAS RECOMMENDED BY A CO-WORKER AND HAS COMPLETED SEVERAL OTHER JOBS FOR OTHERS IN OUR OFFICE WITH SUCCESS. HE ALSO GAVE US GOOD ESTIMATE ON SOME LANDSCAPING AND INSTALLING A FENCE, WHICH WE ARE CONSIDERING.
