The guy who came was friendly and professional. We were not unhappy with the price. My husband I have talked about using him again.

I had researched several companies to have the flooring in my living room redone. I decided to go with HouseMasters, Gary, because a co-worker had used him and just praised his services. I soon realized why. From the moment that he arrived I felt completely comfortable with him. Being a single mother it is very important for me to get the best deal and there was no sneakiness about him. He was straight forward and even ended up saving me some money by offering some suggestions. He came in on the 6th as planned and arrived on time. He did the job and I am happier than ever with my new flooring. I would absolutely recommend HouseMasters to anyone who is looking to have ANY work done. I will be calling him again.

I was gathering quotes on the Angie's List website to have a pet door installed in an exterior wall in my garage. Housemasters replied within hours of my quote request being sent with a great quote. I immediately messaged them back through Angie's List asking if we could set up the work, and I included my phone number. This was later at night on a Monday so I figured we'd be in contact on Tuesday. On Tuesday, Housemasters never called me, so I called them late in the afternoon and left a voice mail stating I was interesting in getting this job scheduled. I was sure to leave my name and phone number. Housemasters never called me back or contacted me in any way. Obviously I'll cross them off my list of companies to ever consider using since they have horrible communication.

Problems, particularly leakage, developed after the work was done. I called Gary to come back and fix the problems. He told me that he would come but failed to show up at the appointed time. Subsequently, I tried to reach him by phone and e-mail but he did not respondHis unresponsiveness is very unprofessional.

We hired housemasters to repair the frame of an exterior door that had been deteriorating. He was very helpful, arrived when he said he would and completed the repair in a timely fashion. Upon completion, the door and frame were much better quality than when the home was built. I appreciated his honesty, promptness and the quality of his workmanship. I won't hesitate to hire him again.

He was friendly and efficient. I have recommended him to other people I know.

The owner is a man of his word, does what he promises, and charges a fair price.

Gary was very good at letting me know the schedule and worked around time conflicts. i would use him again for future projects.

We got them off Angie's list. I will give them A. They are coming back on Monday. So far, we have spent $1200, but Doty is going to do more work for us. He calls that is the big thing. He does the work he says he is going to. He is polite. He is on time. I find his prices are fair.

They were here for about a week. The job was very good. They paid attention to detail and always consulted us before they did something to make sure it was what we wanted. It was the only estimate we got and we thought the price was reasonable.

It was kind of expensive. It was done perfectly and involved being in the crawlspace so I didn't check it out but everything is working well. I thought it was expensive but it had to be done.

Gary Doty and his employee's were always on time. They were careful to cover our hardwood floors during the entire project and always cleaned up at the end of each day. The project took about 6 total work-days to complete and it looks absolutely beautiful.

The work turned out pretty well and we don't have any complaints. They came out when they were supposed to and got the work done. It actually started leaking again and they came back and fixed it again as soon as they could.

Gary Doty and his associate were excellent to work with. Gary made a point to call to let us know he was running a little later than expected, which we appreciated. The work was all completed with minimal disruption inside and outside the house. On the second day they were here, Gary was not entirely pleased with the ceiling repair completed the day before, so he worked on it again.

I called Gary and he was able to come out in a good time frame. He hooked up the refrigerator and brought the appropriate parts. He also put the doors back on because they had to come off in order to get it in the kitchen. I asked him how much it would be to put on the storm door that was off and after he told me the price I asked if I could do it myself and he said it should be too hard and he gave me an overview. So as he was leaving, my niece and I were trying to put it up and he came back and said he wanted to help. He helped us hold the door up so I could get a good start. I even had him come back later in the week to do work on the hot water valve and hook up the appliances. I thought that was a bit pricey because it only took him 20 minutes to do this work but I guess you pay for expertise, but I'd definitely call him again.

All of the things above got done in 2 days. They did an excellent job on everything. The ceiling fan with light was the best. The room did not have an overall light and they were able to go through the garage and attic to install the fan/light without having an electrical cord down the wall. It looks great. All other things were done well too. The master bedroom and bath could have had a second coat of paint in certain sections, but overall it looks good. Was very happy with the service and the price. The men involved were professional, neat and did the work in a short period of time.

They took their time and they did a great job. Their pricing was very very reasonable. I would recommend him.

Gary and his associate were very prompt and worked quickly. They trimmed out the paint carefully and made sure it covered well. They completed the job in a day, and it looks great. The price was reasonable. This is the second time I have hired Gary, and I would hire him again.
