Jeff and his crew have been working on my familys vehicles for over 10 years now. Whenever I take a car there, I get honest, polite, no-nonsense service. The folks at Hopkins always treat our cars like their own. Their labor rates are fair, and they never have tried to 'upsell' us on something that wasn't needed. When I have been forced to go somewhere else for emergency service, I always pay out the nose. My 1998 Park Avenue is at 156,000 miles right now, and has no intention of stopping. I know that Jeff and the gang at Hopkins are a big reason for that. I would recommend them to anyone, and plan on using them as long as they're in business.

Hopkins Automotive is the best auto service provider in the city. Jeff cares about not only fixing the vehicle but about his customers! We have been using Jeff for years - 5 or 6 cars total for my family over the years. Jeff always is honest and fair. He never overcharges or suggests to do anything before it absolutely must be done. For this particular visit, he fixed one thing for my air conditioner - it appeared to work and then a few days later it failed again. When I took my van back to Jeff, he tried something else, charged me nothing, and said to go see if it worked. It did work! On my next visit, I asked Jeff what I owed him. He wouldn't let me pay. We take our cars there for everything - including oil changes. Absolutely the best in the city!!!

They are thorough and honest. They don't try and up sale you. Jeff is a very above board business man. I know if I take my car there it will be done right.

Jeff and his crew have serviced my cars and trucks for the past 15 years. In my 60 years of auto ownership I have never used a service company that I trusted as much as I do Hopkins Automotive. They have not only serviced my vehicles but I have referred many of my friends and family to him. They have always fixed the problem and in some cases not fixed something that was not broken, ie a noisy power steering pump on my Town and Country mini van. It's just noisy.

Jeff has always been a great mechanic. My family has brought our cars to him for service since he opened his doors and we have had nothing but fantastic exeriences. Jeff turned the rotors on my brakes about a year ago and I started to have a little shake in them when I would break at high speed. I took the car back to Jeff and he trimmed the break at no charge. This was a year after the initial fix. I will be taking my car to him in the near future for new tires and service.

Jeff Hopkins is just the greatest guy. He’s very courteous and honest. If something’s wrong he’ll tell you about it, and he doesn’t go out of his way to make you spend money. He’s very reasonable. He and his team are honest. My father went to him too, before Jeff bought his own garage.

These guys are true experts and I trust them. Jeff advised I would need new brakes in about the next 3,000 miles but didn't pressure me to change them right away. They have the after hour key drop which is always convenient.

Hopkins Automotive Inc. have always done a really good job. What they say they're going to do, they do and they do it well.

Service was better than I anticipated. Jeff was responsive to my initial inquiry on his shop's experience with Nissan, to my initial and rescheduling of an appointmen, and while the car was in the shop. When I arrived, I recalled other standard maintainace activities required (oil change and replacing tail light); Jeff graciously added these to the ticket without indication of not having enough time. Within a few hours of after drop- off, Jeff called with complete information, stating no leak found in radiator, two tail lights were out, and details on the clacking ( tensor on serpentine belt). Total cost was reasonable and after agreeing to repairs, my car was ready for pick- up before 3 pm! And repairs were satisfactory. I also witness's his interaction with a few customers, all positive, friendly and almost "like family". I think I've found a new auto shop for all future needs.

After noticing that my rear brake light was out I phoned to see if they could get me in, and was told to come right over. The gentleman replaced the bulb in about five minutes and only charged me $4.00!

Jeff made the appointment for the AM and was done quickly. He called me when it was ready. Gave me recommendations on future needs of work that should be done but felt everything was okay until the Fall when I would need new tires. We have used Hopkins for the past 3 years on the recommendation of friends. We would not go anywhere else. The owner and staff are very honest and friendly.

Very well. An excellent firm to do business with. Have had much other work done by this company and all was done as promised.

Made appointment for the 18th, dropped it off and received call back 4 hours later with full estimate. Gave the ok to complete the repair and received call that it was finished at 4pm. Picked car up an hour or so later and brakes were fixed and operating beautifully. This owner takes pride in his service and customer satisfaction. Recommended by family member as well as Angie's List and he did not disappoint. As an aside, Jeff greeted everyone of his customers by name as they walked through the door, his waiting room and restroom were neat and clean and he even had a Keurig Coffee Machine for complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, very nice touch. I had been looking for an honest, reasonably priced auto repair shop for a few months and I have found it in Hopkin's Automotive Services. Easy to get to off 465 at Binford Blvd. exit 37A to 62nd Street located on the the Northeast corner.

I have been taking my cars to him for 20 years. He tells you straight up what is wrong, he fixes it, and then you pick it up. I am 80 years old, I love automobiles, and I know enough about them to be dangerous. I am too lazy to do some of the work that these guys do, but I have done it. They are all descent guys and they all have good manners. They are very polite. I think that is why he is so successful; he is really busy. He is really proud of his work. Some people will come in with something minor and expect him to fix it right away and he will tell them that they have four cars ahead of them and will ask if they can leave their cars and that is the way it works.

It was all good. They found the problem because I was unsure what it was and they were able to fix it.

We've been using Jeff Hopkin's Automotive for over 10 years and have enjoyed the respect and care he provides us on all our vehicle related issues. I bought a used Acura and had a transmission issue (recall) and he had me towed to his shop, but he didn't do the work and had me towed to the Acura dealer so I could get he work done under warranty. He prevents disasters, but keeps us running safe. Thanks Jeff!

Hopkins is absolutely the best automotive service provider in Indianapolis! We have been using them for years - honest, fair and care about their customers. He told me I didn't need to get this fixed right away and could wait until I had time. However, it probably would affect my miles per gallon. Jeff was "right on" as usual. He maintains our fleet of 4 vehicles, checks out new vehicles we think about purchasing and has grown to be more than our "auto guy' but a friend over the years. His returning clients are a mile long - but he always figures out how to take care of each and ever one of us. He should continue to get the Super Service Award for years to come and certainly is on my "Page of Happiness!" If you don't use Hopkins Automotive - you are costing yourself time and money!

Took my car in with a check engine light on. Got same day service and an honest estimate on my car.

I dropped off the car not knowing what was going on with it (except for the broken belt). I quickly received a call that they found rodent damage, fixed that, and replaced the broken belt - FOR FREE! I haven't gotten great service like this since I lived in a small town more than 25 years ago! Hopkins Automotive is fast, efficient, and more than fair. I'm definitely using them for future maintenance and repairs for my car and will recommend them to my friends.

The best thing about them is that they don't overcharge. They charged me about $300 less than the dealer for service on my Cadillac. When you call to make and appointment, you can usually get in the same day. The car's always ready when they say it will be at the price they quote.

Jeff said nothing was needed, the repair was supposed to be hundreds of dollars (I can't remember exactly what it was). The good thing about Jeff is that he is honest and upfront with you. He will let you know if your car needs repaired or not.

Overall it was a good experience. The owner wasn't the most friendly person but you can tell he is honest which is really all I care about.

Pretty good overall - initially went there for an oil change, tire rotation and overall check on my 2010 malibu. I asked that they check everything just to make sure it's in good working order - nothing odd, etc. He kind of laughed like "what would be wrong on a 2010?" but I said just make sure. I mention this because a few weeks later I had to bring it back because my brakes were making a terrible vibration and he said it was because they had worn unevenly - due to hot temps, heavy braking, etc. It's fine and all, they fixed them and didn't try to tell me they needed to be replaced (which is what I thought, and for all I know about cars I would have accepted that as the solution) so I do appreciate the honest work ethic at this auto shop - he didn't try selling me something I didn't need. I just felt like the brake unevenness would have been noticeable when I first brought the car in for an oil inspection and I asked them to look over everything. Again, I don't know anything about cars and it's possible the issue with the brakes did come on just that quickly... It's just frustrating to ask that your car be inspected and then I have to bring it in two weeks later to have my brakes worked on... not a big deal and I'm not the expert. Just a little venting but as my grades attest, I do fully support Hopkins and recommend them - Jeff is great and I know I can trust him.

My experience with Hopkins was great. From the moment I walked in I was greeted, and was told to make myself at home. I brought my wife's car in to have it inspected because we are going to be selling it to one of Hopkin's regular customers. The whole inspection took about an hour, and they did a great job. I will definitely use Hopkin's in the future for any Auto repairs that I may need.
