The drywall looks great. When they left they pulled up paint from the kitchen floor with the tape they used for the protective paper and left without telling me. I called and they said they could touch it up. When I received the bill, they charged me for 43 hrs of work and since I was home and kept track of the hrs. I knew it was only 32 1/2 hrs, I called them and they changed the hrs to 36.5 hours. The 1st day they did not bring drywall, did not know they were to fix the ceiling though had discussed this by phone several times. Had to unload truck and get drywall, which took 2 hrs and I shouldn't have to pay for this. Also when received revised bill, had charge for materials which was not on previous bill, they said they forgot to add it. Original est. was for walls only, we added on ceiling later, I expected the job to cost more but did not expect extra hours to be added that were not worked. Would not use this company again for obvious reasons.

Excellent work. We've used them before for interior painting. They are thorough and do quality work.

I was pleased with the work overall. The house looks great. The crew was professional and accommodating with my young children. We had to wait for 30 days or so after the estimate but that was disclosed from the start. The one challenge we had was overspray on one of our cars, however the folks at Fine Painting where very responsive and got the car taken care of with great urgency.

The big interior and exterior jobs went great and were of high quality. This was the second time we had them do work and we were satisfied both times, until the end. Once we paid for the big jobs, it was very difficult to get them to finish up a few odds and ends. It took forever and we had a very hard time getting anyone to respond to numerous messages. In the end, we were not very happy with the experience. Ratings really reflect how the job was finished, not the majority of their work.

From the time they came to give the estimate to the completion, all was done on time. They were all very cordial & cleaned up. They area little expensive, but worth every cent.

Painters were on time (early even!), friendly & hardworking. Fixes were made without complaint (ie; spots that needed a second coat). Painters kept their work area clean & cheerfully worked around our 2 young kids & dogs.

The crew did good work and were very pleasant fellows. They promptly fixed a few problems, like opening two windows that were stuck shut. They also swiftly returned to repaint one ceiling that had a couple of missed spots.

The first person they sent said he didn't have the right materials to do the job so he left for about 30 minutes to see if he could find it at a local hardware store. He returned and said he didn't find what he needed but he thought he could use what he had in his truck, He then proceeded to tear out the damaged dry wall and pieced in a new section etc., He said he would need to return to in a few days to paint it. I expressed concern that the repair was very visible and he said the painting would take care of the problem. A few days later he returned and painted the area. It still looked very visible. He said it would blend in when it dried. Two days later it was still very visible. I contacted Dave Fine the owner and he came over to see it. He agreed that it was not satisfactory and said they would fix it. I requested that they NOT send the same person to fix it. They did send a second person and he fixed it - it now looks great.

The work was everything you would hope for from a highly ranked company on Angie's List. They showed up on time to do the estimate, were prompt in scheduling, did great work, and they somehow completed everything in one day.

Showed-up within the week, and did an excellent job, and cleaned up perfectly upon leaving. The employee was very polite and respectfully to my property.

This is the second time I've had Fine Painting paint my house, and I continue to be very satisfied with the quality of their work, promptness, and fair pricing.

They were just great. I had a problem with one of our windows (not their fault) and they came right out no questions asked. They followed up with me to make sure I was happy with their work.

These guys were great! During the quote process they noticed that our replacement windows had been caulked with exterior (i.e.: Not Paintable!) caulk. This saved us a bundle in down time since we were able to get the window company back out to the house to peel out the old caulk and replace it with interior caulk before we even started with the painting. Their cost estimate was the lowest we received. They brought a 3rd guy to the house to speed up the work, the crew was finished in 3 days and cleaned up after themselves with a HEPA filter vacuum (important when working with lead-based paint). The detail work on the window painting was done to our satisfaction and everything looks beautiful. They played music, but not too loud. On the last day, the paint on one of the windows had swelled, resulting in the wood on the window being damaged. They were upfront about the damage and the company is paying to replace that window sash.

Bob Fine is quite professional; made follow up phone calls after estimate was given and after work was done. The painters themselves were polite and did a very neat job. They were a bit late arriving but called let me know. The price was very reasonable.

They did a great job from estimate to the finished product. Dave is very professional and thorough in his estimating. He even offered us the option of paint type based on quality/price. He volunteered to paint the utilities as well to match the house. However, we had a very difficult time getting a hold of them as we were waiting for them to start the work. Several times, the stated a likely start date, only to have that date go by with no phone call at all. The job ended up starting over a month after was originally quoted with no real explanation. Once they did start the work was great though.

Dave answered my call and scheduled us promptly. He arrived on time and was respectful and helpful. We asked him for an estimate on removing and replacing the moldy dry wall in our closet, and that would have made him more money, but he was honest and informed us that the problem could be fixed with just a primer and a couple layers of paint. He did the work utilizing Bin he had out in his car. He didn't have his work truck with him, so we found a paint brush in our garage, and he was patient with me as we sorted through our paints in the garage to find what was needed for our closet. On top of doing a prompt and good job, he's friendly and thoughtful and has a great sense of humor.

I called and Dave came out the next day to give an estimate. He made some suggestions on what I could do to save money and emailed an estimate that afternoon. When I called to make the appointment they were willing to do the job early on Saturday to fit my schedule. They protected the floors and furniture with cloths and did an extremely neat job. I was very pleased with their service and will definitely have them paint for me again.

It went OK; they did a good job! However, there was a mis-communication. I thought I told them to do a layer of primer, but that was not completed. They are sure I didn't mention that, but the job is done now and I am not going to worry about it. They powerwashed the siding and removed the old paint and dirt. They painted the siding, soffits and screen porch exterior.

Excellent. Fine painting were professional and timely from the estimate to the completed work. If they were running late, they called and were always courteous. The paint job looks wonderful; they even did a follow up call after the job to see how everything looked. We could not be happier with the entire experience. We will definitely hire them in the future for other rooms.

Summer is a busy time for painters, so by the time we decided, we were put on the schedule for a month or so later. The two men who came out were polite and professional. When they were already painting, my husband discovered that we had neglected to ask for our chimney and sunroom gutters and soffit to be included in the estimate. Bob came out to look at our house and adjusted the estimate in a quick and reasonable way. We also changed our minds about the front door color, and then the new front door we had ordered had to be sent back, so the house was done before our new door arrived. This was not a problem for the painters, who told us I should just call when the door was installed, and they would come back to paint it. They did. We were very please with their work. We plan to have them do some interior painting for us in a few months.

Excellent job! Best prep work I've seen commercial painters do. Very nice and polite work crew.

Two painters did the job expertly in eight hours. I was pleased with both the quality and price of the job. Will us again when needed.

The team is very experienced in general painting, but especially good at drywall repair. Courteous, timely & consistent communication.

On time, polite, returned for very minor touch-up at my request. Good in getting paint brand we requested, as their company did not have our same type of paint, color, etc. Plan to call them again shortly for exterior work.

Prompt service in giving estimate, scheduled work promptly, performed work to satisfaction, and painter was great to have at the house. This firm gives consistent good service and value.
