Excellent job! Absolutely no issues noted. The job was professionally and promptly quoted with all questions answered. Workers arrived when expected, did a better job preparing walls by repairing minor nail pops, etc. than expected, were friendly and did the job in an efficient and high quality manner. They indicated a bill would arrive shortly, and it did, which we appreciate!

I like the fact that they did the job right the first time. They offered helpful suggestions. They completed the job within the time frame that we agreed upon. We were satisfied.

The experience was quite good. They were accommodating with scheduling, they were very fast (painted whole house in 2 days) and as far as I can tell they did a good job. I think their price was reasonable. There were a few spots that were missed, but they came out quickly and touched them up. No surprises; no complaints.

It was a very pleasant experience. They filled all the nail holes and moved and covered our furniture. I was supposed to move a big screen TV out of a cabinet in the living room. They got to that room before I had a chance to move it, so they moved that, too. They were very fast but did not cut corners.

Although our house is only 4 yrs old, the paint the builder used was not weathering well so we decided to get all the trim painted before we started to have problems. I had 3 companies give me an estimate but by far I was most impressed by David Fine. He came out and we walked around the house while he measured. When I could not provide him with the exact color or the white trim, he found it by utilizing a color wheel so we would have a match. He suggested using Duration paint which was more expensive and after doing some research on the net I decided it would be well worth the additional cost. He could not give me an exact date when he could perform the work as it depends on the weather. Very reasonable. Even with the bad weather we had, he was able to start the work within 4 weeks. The first day they power washed all the trim, sanded the exterior doors, scrapped loose paint and caulked where needed. We bought the paint for the front door and shutters as my wife wanted to choose the color. Fine provided the white paint for the trim. The man who did the painting was very respectful of my two dogs and of the plants & flowers around the house. He asked if I wanted the garage door painted (not part of original bid) & I agreed (small additional charge). He also painted an egress and window well that come from the basement (no additional charge). Landscaper hit a pipe related to my sprinkler system and Dave Fine immediately called me at work to report it and they turned the water to the sprinkler system off to prevent additional yard flooding. On the last day, the painter waited waited for me to get home and we walked the entire house to make sure I was satisfied. While we were doing the final inspection, he found one small flaw that he advised he was not satisfied with and he repainted that area. This was a very pleasant experience with a contractor. I definitely got MUCH MORE than what I paid for.

I would not use them in the future. They were professional while they were working. The quality of their work was O.K. I would not recommend them. They were courteous and kind while they were working.

They did an excellent job from start to finish. They were very personable, worked hard, and kept the area clean. The house looks great!

Met with estimator on 4/3/08. Estimator was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Made deal on 4/14/08 but was told they would not be able to paint until end of May or first of June due to high number of customers. I called them a couple times in in the beginning of May to get an idea when they would start and they gave me a firm start date of 5/27/08 (Tuesday after Memorial Day). I called them on 5/27 in the morning to see if they would start that day. Due to weather on 5/27 and schedule conflict on 5/28, they actually started on 5/29. They worked on 5/29, 5/30, 6/2, and 6/5 (1/2 day). 6/3 and 6/4 were rain days. Paint looks really good and have had several compliments. A couple spots were a little sloppy, but overall the work was still really good. Painters were very professional. Could not match the existing green shutters and door paint exactly but still looks really good. Biggest suggestion I have for them is to provide some better communication. I would have liked them to call me the week before they started to confirm the start date. During the rain days, I would have liked them to call me to let me know when they thought they would be able to work again since I had to be home the final day to paint doors. However, when I called them they were very professional and responsive every time. Received 5% discount for being on Angie's List.

It was very good. They did a high quality job for me. The crew was timely professional and clean and neat. The finished product was very satisfactory and I would recommend them to anyone.

They gave me an estimate and they stayed within that price. They painted the rooms in the time frame they gave me. They were reliable and punctual. They cleaned up very nicely. I would recommend them.

The sales rep. came out and gave me estimate which was competitive with other vendors. He accompanied me around the entire house and pointed out things I had not noticed. Within a week, painters arrived promptly, caulked the entire house as needed and painted. The painters were polite and courteous and cleaned up after they left. The work was well done.

Greg Rayne did the initial estimate. He was on time and provided an estimate the next day. After work was scheduled, the painters were on time and completed the job the same day. The painters were professional. At the end of the job, the painters left the rooms as they were when the project started and cleaned up the related mess. They did an excellent job. I didn't find any areas where paint was on the trim or cabinets. All appliances were moved by the crew. This is the second time I have used Fine Painting. I will continue to use them for my painting needs.

The service was excellent, the employees were very respectful. There was a few things that they missed but they were prompt about coming back and taking care of it.

I happened to come home while the worker was working on my project; he did an excellent job of stripping off the old paint, then repainted with primer and final coat. Everything looks great. He did a wonderful job!

It went great. Dave was very helpful and "bang-on" selecting the colors. Carolyn in the office was friendly and attentive. The wood was repaired beyond expectation. The primer and top coat appear to be solid. The colors look great. The old paint wasn't removed completely. They didn't promise that, nor did I pay for it. As long as the new paint stays on, I will be more than happy. Thank you very much Fine Painting.

I did think their initial estimator was probably a little brief in looking at the situation. There were a couple things: their attention to detail was a little lacking, and they painted over some caulking in a kitchen situation. It's a long story, but I had to have them back three times to get it corrected properly. They left it looking rather sloppy, which was rather inconvenient to have to have them back three times to get it fixed properly. In all fairness, the foreman did have a family emergency in the interim of the first job.

Fine Painting was very responsive in meeting with me and in mailing the quotation. However, the estimate was over two times as much as the other three bids I received.

Estimate was short and simple, received via email that day. However painting was little frustrating. Although excusable, a crew leader's family member died and the other crew was 6 hours late. They drove around my neighborhood lost for 25 minutes, until I called them, although they had my phone number and had already called for directions once. They did repairs and taped baseboards, and left after about 2 hours. I had already emailed the colors and numbers for the paints, I was asked to provide a swatch of a color that I had lost. I went to the store to provide it to them next day. They showed up on second day with paint and didn't need the requested swatch. They painted the bathroom ceilings, bedroom, and one coat in one bathroom. On 3rd day, a different crew of 2 guys painted the kitchen, bathroom, and 2nd coat of other bathroom. What I was originally told would be a 1 day job, maybe 1.5 days, turned into a 3 day job. Although in the end, painting looked great. They cleaned up and moved everything back. After reading other reviews, this seems to be a one time occurrence, therefore, I would probably use them again. Paint job is great, but service/timeliness was little lower than expected, but partially due to family member's death.

We called for an est on ext painting and David was very prompt and professional in getting out to see the house and writing up an est. David's est was higher than the 2 others we received which did factor into why we went with another contractor

It went very well. I got an estimate the first day that I called and was able to schedule the work for the week after I called back. The painters arrived right on time and were very polite and hard working. All my furniture and flooring was protected by plastic. No one took more than a half hour break and more painters arrived to help in the afternoons. The work was completed in two days, one day less than estimated. I should have asked prior to the estimate, but I received my Angie's list discount of $60 when I asked after the work was completed. I couldn't be happier.

Good follow through, they did a good job.

The guy who did the estimate was very professional and helpful with what kind of paint to choose. He gave me the estimate and then the work was scheduled for a few weeks later. The painters were excellent. They did a great job, kept the place as neat as possible. I could tell they took pride in their work. I even had one door that I had forgotten to ask them to include in the quote and they painted it for me at no charge. I think that was pretty nice.

Jeff & John worked on 4-7 preparing the rooms & painting the bedroom. Jeff got the work done on 4-8, completing the nook & kitchen, both men were polite & skilled.
