Before they started painting, they went over the job with me on what was to be trimmed and how they would do the job. If I had any questions during the job they took time to go over it with me to make sure everything was performed to my satisfaction. The area was cleaned well on the completion of the work. I was told that if there was any problems found, I could call Fine Painting and they would correct it immediately.

They were responsive and professional. The price was good. They were punctual. However, we had all that rain back in June and they always called me if they couldn't come.

We rate Fine Painting an A in all categories. However, we did have some glitches. During the pressure washing, water got into the house and did some damage to the stairwell ceiling. We had a little difficulty getting the correct exterior paint color (due to some miscommunication) and the front door needed to be repainted. Especially Steve and his crew who did the outside painting, Lee who did the carpentry work, and Doug who did the interior painting were all wonderful, polite and friendly. Bob Fine in the office also worked with our problems. There was no charge for the interior painting or for paint that was purchased and was not the selected color. We give Fine Painting an A+ in responsiveness. No one showed any frustration or annoyance and did their best to make sure we were pleased with the end result. We are!

Greg came out and gave us an estimate for the job. After we accepted the bid, they came out and power washed the siding and trim. They also did some scrapping of loose paint and caulking. The following week, they painted with the Sherwin Williams Duration paint. It looks great! They did a great job overall!

The painters were very courteous, clean, and didn't waste time.

I checked out three providers on Angie?s List and picked Fine Painting. I chose them because they provided the most service for the amount of money we had decided to spend. They came out, looked at my house and gave me an estimate. They got back with me; in fact, all three providers got back with me. It didn?t take Fine Painting more than a week to start the work, and it took them just one day to finish the job. They cleaned up after themselves too.

Greg did an excellent job on everything. I can't complain about anything.

This was a very professional job. The house had not been repainted since it was built about 15 years ago. First of all, Mr. Fine noted carefully my needs for work to be done at a very specific time so I could coordinate with new carpeting being laid to minimize disruption at home (I knew I had to move almost everything out for both procedures and I only wanted to do it once!). I also wanted eco-friendly paint, wanted the current color matched as closely as possible except one bathroom which I wanted to change to match my other bath, and had water stains from a previously leaky roof. I also wanted two rooms bid separately so I had an option of not painting them. (I chose to have one done but not the other.) His bid came in midway between two others. I chose him not only because of his overall bid, but also because of the confident way he handled our conversation during the estimate. It wasn't overconfident nor too soft sell, and he treated me with the same respect he would have if dealing with a man. When his painters finished, I could not tell that there had ever been water damage, spilled wax, or fireplace smoke on the painted surfaces; the workers did a great job! I have two indoor cats who leave their own markings on corners and doorways (normal); not a trace of that remained. I also decided to stay in the house during the painting process. They cheerfully accommodated my desire to have my bedroom done first which was my first priority. The paint job was scheduled to take three days but was done within two which was great as it gave me a day to air out the house and let the cats explore before the carpet layers came and they were again banished to the outside enclosed patio. I had also made arrangements to have the painter return after the carpeting was laid to repair any damage to walls and woodwork that might occur. That was done very willingly. Overall I was extremely pleased with the workers, the work, and the process.

Estimate arrived within 48 hours. Very professional. Greg Fine was patient, took time to answer questions.

It went very well. The carpenter took off old siding and put on the new siding; he did a very good job. The painters came the following day to power wash the house and the painted all the painted surfaces. All the workers were extremely efficient and polite and did a great job of cleaning up.

We were pleased with their responsiveness and professionalism. They came back to touch up a couple things and we were very happy with their work. Their price was very good and they gave us a discount because we had used them before.

Work was execellent and have already had a couple of neighbors ask about who did my work.

Rain delays unavoidable. Didn't always update me they were delayed necessitating my need to contact them for an update on schedule delays. Overall, very pleased with the work. Used e-mail effectively to send invoices and communicate with me. Work completed quickly once began. Cleanup excellent. Followup for satisfaction afterwards showed commitment to excellence. The price was higher than I expected but I did not get quotes from others to know if the price indeed was a little high. But you pay for quality too.

They do a very nice job. Experienced team. Took care of all my minor issues I brought up to close out the job.

They were wonderful. It was reasonably priced. They did two coats of paint and it turned out great.

I called approximately five companies for quotes. Fine Painting had middle of the road pricing and was able to complete the work within a week. They were very responsive to phone calls and requests. A major plus for this company is that they were always on time if not early with every appointment that we had set up. They kept me informed when they found additional wood that needed to be replaced and informed me of the cost prior to moving forward. They were respectful and cleaned up after themselves excellent work ethic. The painting turned out great. The only down side is some of the patch work done with the wood replacement is uneven. I am overall satisfied, however if I had to do it again I would hire my own contractor to do the wood replacement.

They were very professional and prompt. The price they quaited me was considerably higher than the other estimates. I would have use them if thier price had been closer to the other prices.

The work was good. They sent me out an estimate. I should have gotten more. I did not read the contract close enough. It stated that they would charge extra for removing paper. The original estimate doubled within a day and half. I asked him if they could paint behind the refrigerator. They stated they wouldn't because they did not want to move the refrigerator. I said I would move it for them and they did paint it, but it was last thing they did. I feel they should have included the extra charge for paper removal in the original esitmate. I feel that they could have been a little more accomodating.

Made arrangements for the job to be done in late June. Received call in late May that they had a crew available the next day. They started the next day and completed four working days later, exactly what was estimated. The painters were extremely polite and professional. This company was the only one contacted that had a specialized carpentry crew and that was important both in making the decision to use them and also the quality and speed with which the wood replacement was carried out. The job looks great and we would recommend them to anyone.

Fine Painting provided an estimate that was deceptive in the quoted price. Part of the work listed in the itemization apparently was not reflected in the price shown. Their quality of work was fair but clean up was bad. Paint needed to be cleaned off of a cabinet, joint compound was left in a number of places, a drain in the bathtub was left clogged with strips of wallpaper, a gouge was made in the cherry wood of a counter edge. The company was not summoned to correct these because it had to be handled right away since the house was listed for sale. When the company was called about the problems and the misleading estimate, the representative said that the customer was being too nit-picky and would not make any adjustments.

Fine Painting is very professional and completed the job well without making a mess or damaging any of my landscaping in the process. They showed up to give us a prompt estimate and got us scheduled within a couple weeks of calling to go forward with the work. There were only a couple of minor issues that they addressed promptly and without argument. First, I had called to give them the specifications of paint type and color a couple of times, but apparently that information was not relayed to the crew. They had to change out the color to the correct one after they had already begun painting. Second, they had missed painting the grille on the back entry door and we had to call and remind them to come and finish that part. Overall, they did a very nice job. I do wish they had replaced more of the wood than they did, but I did not specify any replacement except what they deemed to be damaged. If I had been doing it, I would have replaced several more sections that were damaged near the bottom even though the rest of the board was in good shape. I don't hold this against them though since I didn't give specific instructions. Their price was very reasonable compared to other estimates we received and the experience was relatively painless. I would recommend them and use them again.
