Fine painted our exterior in the past and we had them back to put a fresh coat of paint in several interior areas. Between the time we had them out for an estimate and the time of the job, we received an email ad sent to prior customers with a discount which they honored for our job. The painters were timely, courteous, clean and careful.

Everything went very well. They were very professional, neat, and clean.

I am VERY impressed with the work they did. I got 3 estimates for the job and they were the cheapest. The older part of my fence had been stained a few years back but I did not have any of that stain so matching the older part was worrisome to me. They were able to find an extremely close match to the old stain and you can barely tell the difference of where the old fence ends and newly stained fence begins. I definitely recommend these guys and would use them again in a heartbeat!

They came out on time and did a good job. The job turned out well. They were competitively priced compared to another estimate that I got.

They were prompt, did an excellent job, and completely cleaned up after they finished. They even went so far as to do some caulking around the woodwork were it had moved away from the walls a bit. We would highly recommend them for any paint job. They previously had painted our outside of the house and did such a great job we will have them do any other painting we need performed.

We were charged extra because they didn't correctly estimate the number of coats that would be required. An extra coat was needed, even though we didn't change colors or any of the details from the original estimate. Thus, we were charged for the extra coat. The work they did was fine. For the most part, the clean-up was fine, too. However, they did spill some paint on the carpet but we were able to get this up, so we didn't complain to them about it. The paint job was originally scheduled for a Wednesday but they called on Tuesday to say they wouldn't be able to come until Thursday. I realize this happens but out of the two times we've used them, this has happened both times. We've called and emailed 3 different times to ask them to give us an estimate for an exterior paint job and have always been promised that Greg will call us back to set-up a time. This has not yet happened, so we won't be using them for our exterior painting. If they value your business, they should have the courtesy to call you back to schedule a time. The work they've done for us on both occassions has been fine but I'm not happy with their customer service, so we'll be using someone else in the future. I didn't even get a "thank you for your business" when I called to pay the bill. They do fine work but the level of customer service needs to be greatly improved for me to want to use them again.

The estimate was doen promptly and the bid was not exceeded although the work took longer and the paint was upgraded. The workman were professionals and the job done is excellent. I used them last fall to paint our exterior. They did outstanding work and were the only contractors to notice and repair the dry-rot around our windows. Their bid was reasonable and they fixed a minor glitch on the front porch without charge this spring. They do the best work and their entire staff know their craft.

I would have to buy primer and replace seven trim boards, which was not included in the estimated price. I have purchased enough Duration paint from Sherwin Williams to put two coats on the house. The representative from Fine told me that it would not be good to put two coats of Duration on the house, because it would cause the paint to pull-off. Two other contractors told me that it would be okay to put two coats on. I also asked a rep from Sherwin Williams, and he told me that it would be just fine. This misunderstanding is the reason why we decided not to go with them. They were very nice and punctual. I was impressed with their professionalism as they provided me both a written and verbal estimate.

They were referred by a relative and were very thorough with the review of the house and proposal. They did a great job - once they got to my house and were certainly worth the wait. They didn't need to replace all of the panels originally thought once they were scraped and examined which saved me some money. They were prompt, hard working and cleaned up everything. Will definitely use them again.

They gave us a detailed list of everything that they were going to do. They were extremely easy to work with. They sent out a crew manager and made sure that the entire crew got here on time. They were efficient and I really enjoyed having them here. I would use their services in the future too.

I chose to call Fine Painting based on other positive reports from members and because other reports indicated they were competitive on price. They arrived on time and provided a clearly defined the estimate same day via email. Based on my estimate of $1,210.00 I decided to do the work myself as this seemed expensive for the 3 small spaces. About a week later I received a follow up call which I appreciated to see if I had any questions about the estimate.

THey were quite responsive in providing an estimate. We did have to wait a couple of weeks to have the work started but it was completed quickly. The wait time for work to start was not a problem for us. Overall, I would happily recommend them.

We have used them for exterior painting as well. We spent $3500 on that last job.

They were excellent. No drips, spills, they arrived as planned. Workers were polite.

Fine Painting was in our neighborhood to provide an estimate to a neighbor and I asked if they could stop by our house after they finished. Fine had provided and estimate for us last spring but we ended up not having the work done, so I wanted to see if our estimate from last year was any different. Greg did come by, was very thorough, took a good amount of time answering questions and explaining in detail some of the unique issues with our home. He promised to have the updated estimate back the next day. However, I did have to follow up with him to receive it a few days later - which was not a problem for me and may have had something to do with getting carpentry material and labor estimates. Estimate appears to be fair based on other estimates I've received. I haven't yet committed to contracting with them but am strongly considering doing so. If I do go with them, I'm very confident, based on their estimate and Angies List reviews, that they'll do a good job.

They were very accommodating regarding colors and how they could flow between areas originally painted all the same light color. They were willing to paint in the order that fit my needs regarding furniture moving, and worked very hard to leave us in a way that we could live in the house during the days required to do the work. The men were very professional. They arrived on time each day and worked continuously except for lunch until they quit in the late afternoon. They cleaned up after themselves and corrected the very few things that I found, without question. I had used Fine Painting before and chose them for this bigger job because of that previous experience. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and use them again should the need arise.

They arrived on time - they did break a towel rod, but deducted amount from the overall amount due.

They were pleasant and prompt in arriving and delivering the bid. It was a bit of a hard choice, but based on a personal recommendation, we ended up working with another company. If I were needing painting work done again in the future, I would certainly contact them for a bid.

They did everything the way that I expected them to.

Punctual, professional service. However, I think my bill would have been considerablly lower had their worker been carefull in removing the wallpaper border in my bathroom. Pulling the border off also pulled drywall tape off at the corner of the ceiling, whch necessitated drywall and ceiling plaster repair. This turned what should have been a 6 hour job into a 10 hour job. But they they did excellent repair work. Next time however, I'll get a price for the job and not pay by the hour.

The job was started within one week from our hiring them. They arrived on time to begin work. We provided them with the colors and paint brand. They asked us what kind of paint finish we wanted. When we were not able to respond quickly the painters said that they would go with what most people use for a bathroom. The work was done within 2 days including the removal of the wallpaper, prep the wall surfaces, and painting with 2 coats. The painters picked up after themselves each day. The day after they finished the job I noticed that there were 2 chips in the sink/countertop. Mr FIne came out and acknowledged they had damaged the surface and agreed to pay for us to replace the sink/countertop. Within 2 months the paint on the bathroom ceiling began to bubble and peel. We called them and they agreed to come out and touch up which they did within a few days. They said because of the glue on the wallpaper that can happen. Three months later the ceiling was peeling again and the walls and trim also began to peel. The painters returned again to touch up the paint and this time they changed the paint finish to a glossy from flat. The paint has been fine since (after 5 months). Overall they picked up after themselves but left considerable dust which was created by the electric sanders used after removing the wallpaper.

We had a very good experience. They were very professional, and they cleaned up after themselves. The office called back after they were finished to make sure we were satisfied.

Each time he does a good job. I continue to use them, and I don?t have to wait long for a response. They show up within a week for small jobs and within a month for large jobs. Their prices are good, and I have been happy with them.

Two painters began in the morning and completed the project in one day, two coats on everything. I used no-VOC paint and there was virtually no odor. The painters were efficient, polite, clean and effective. We did not have to spend a night out of our bedroom. It looks great.

Fine was responsive and knowledgable throughout, starting with helpful suggestions when putting together the detailed quote. Pricing was comparable to another quote we received. The work was completed quickly with as little disruption in the house as possible. The crew was friendly, clean and punctual. The quality of the prep work and painting is extremely good! We are thoroughly satisfied and recommend them without any hesitation.
