Job delayed 1 day by company. When work was performed it was done in a very professional manner and done well.

Steve and keith did a great job. They were very professional and neat. We had the outside painted 7 yrs ago by the company and would highly recommend them.

I was extremely pleased with Fine's service from the initial contact to the last brushstroke. Fine has separate interior and exterior crews. On a couple of days during the week , there were as many as 5-7 crew working both inside and outside my house. They were very polite and respectful of my home and property. I have a lot of fern and hosta around my house and yard along with other budding shrubs. Not one plant was stepped on during the exterior work. The interior crew vacuumed at the end of each work day and put back any furnishings that had been moved. This was not an inexpensive project. For painting the textured ceiling of the entire lower floor, several sheet rock repairs, the walls of upstairs great room ,kitchen, large foyer and guest bath,exterior body and trim, dock,porch, and deck, the cost was just under $10,000. The work was done beautifully, though, and worth every penny. The exterior should last at least 7 years. This is a solid business that has fine tuned its services to an art. Each worker is conscientious about their craft and seemed proud of their product. I recommend them highly and am pleased to be a reference.

I took 4 quotes via Angie's List on this job and really any of them seemed competent to do the work. I chose Dave Fine because he was the one that asked the most questions that I felt really got to the core of what I was wanting so he could give me what I wanted. He was also the person who I felt most comfortable with the notion of having him in my house while I wasn't there to do the work. His communication skills are excellent - I knew where we were and what was coming up next from the time I said go until the work was completed. It ended up taking a bit more time than originally planned but only because he wanted to give me exactly what I was wanting. I paid him more than we had agreed upon, not because he asked, but because I felt like he had earned it. Some of the wallpaper ended up being much harder to remove than he anticipated based on the samples he did when he gave the quote. And he was the only one who bothered to do that when doing the quote - see how hard that particular wallpaper was going to be to remove and price accordingly. No more rose colored wallpaper I inherited from the previous owner. Now I have a soothing, tranquil, blue bathroom. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I am thrilled with the work and would definitely use them for my next painting project. I am just thrilled with how it turned out!

It went great! I love how the door looks now. They did call a day ahead and asked if my scheduled time could be a bit later due to a previous job that was not going to be completed on schedule. That was fine with me. When they came, they had a product to use that I wasn't sure would work since my door was not wooden but I chose to give it a try. I also wanted to replace my old door handles with the process and we ran into some sizing issues but they went outside their comfort zone and worked with me to get those to work. I am so happy with the outcome! It looks great and they worked very efficiently, cleanly, and promptly. I appreciate people who look for solutions instead of immediately saying it can't be done. I will use them again for other jobs large or small.

Came out at time set for estimate. Work scheduled for 4/23/2013. 2 men came at 8:15 and finished at 10:30. Excellent work and cleaned up area well.

It was a hard call deciding whether a slightly lower price for the drywalling plus the convenience of having the same company do the drywalling and painting beat another company's more thorough explanation of the repair process. Ultimately we went with the other company for the drywalling and were pleased with our decision, but we still may have this company do the painting. (We're in no hurry to get the painting done and haven't decided whether to hire out the job or do it ourselves.)

The experience with them was very good. They did the job above and beyond.

These guys were beyond amazing. We had them come out for a quote many months before but finally got around to setting a date. Unfortunately just a few days before they were to come out, my wife experienced some health complications and ended up in the hospital for almost a full week. I called them on a Friday to let them know we were most likely going to have to reschedule because I was not going to be able to be home to let them in. Our appointment was the following Monday. Bob said that if we couldn't be there, it wouldn't be a problem and I could just let them know on Sunday afternoon and they would be happy to reschedule if needed. He even offered to come by the hospital to pick up the key if he needed to. I ended up leaving the key for them in a hidden spot and gave them a call. I was not able to clean everything off the walls the way I should have. Bob told me not to worry about anything and they would do whatever was needed. They showed up on Monday morning first thing, found the key, finished the job in the same day, hid the key back in the same spot. They went way above and beyond, were completely understanding and professional the entire time, and did an fantastic job. It seems over the top customer service is rare anymore, but this was the best I have ever experienced. I would definitely serve as a reference and would use again.

Bob, the owner, did everything via email & phone because we hadn't moved to town yet. He was quick to respond and let us know everything that was going one very step of the way. We showed up to a freshly painted home that looked great. Six rooms w/five different colors and all the rooms were perfect!

We knew they would not be the cheapest guys in town but their workmanship was superb. We were locked into certain days for the work to be performed and they met those dates. They kept the house tidy as they worked. If I had a complaint it would be that they kind of worked bankers hours. They arrived later than most contractors do and left earlier than most do. But that could be because they were 30 minutes from their office. But we felt if they had arrived an hour earlier and stayed an hour longer, the job would have been done in2 days instead of 3 and other contractors that were waiting for them to finish could have started on time. But that said, I would rather have it done right than to rush through. The painters were professional, focused and skilled. They are our interior painters of choice, without question.

When the sales person came out I explained that we had the drywall above the showers fixed 10 years prior and asked if there was anything they could do so it wouldn't go bad in another 10 years. He talked about what they could do and I scheduled a time for the work to be done. When the repairmen came out, they knew nothing of what the sales person had said. In fact, they said it was impossible to do what he had told me. So, they fixed the drywall and painted the bathroom. Within several months the paint started pealing off the bathroom walls above the showers. It now looks worse than it did when I called them out. 1) There is absolutely no communication between the person selling the job and the people doing the work. 2) I don't know why the paint pealed but it shouldn't go to pieces within months of painting.

Very good. They were very prompted and professional. They did good work.

They showed up on time, fixed the drywall and completed the patch. I paid for 4 hours and they got 2 10x10 holes patched and finished and a couple of cracks in that time.

The job was lengthy (7 days) spanning a weekend. The crew worked from one room to another to minimize our inconvenience and disruption. They arrived promptly in the morning and left the house neatly when they left in the afternoon. They were thorough and efficient. We are extremely pleased with their service.

We used this same company to do significant wood repair work and a major painting on the house approximately six years ago. That paint job has held up very well. This is the weather-beaten side of our house that always needs to be repaired and painted before the rest of the place. This job went very well. There was one minor miscommunication between the carpenter and the painter. The carpenter had not finished the work but the painter didn't realize this, so he painted the facade too early. When I contacted Bob Fine to ask why the carpentry work didn't appear complete, he returned my call very soon thereafter and apologized for the error. A few days later, the carpenter came back to complete the job, and it was painted the same day. They did top-notch work six years ago and did it again this time. I plan to hire them again in a couple of years when the whole house will need a new coat of paint.

The painter was extremely professional and kind. Did an amazing job - removed mirrors instead of painting around them for example.

Mr. Fine sent Greg to do the work. He was very professional, courteous, and helpful. The cabinets look like new. We will use this company again.

We had the interior of the house painted and Fine painting was very communicative. We were living out of state and he telephoned me daily to let me know every day what rooms were being painted and how much work had been done that day. Upon arrival at the home all the rooms were painted in the correct colors and looked very good.The place was very clean and the only way I knew they had been there was there was the rooms were all painted. The job was finished exactly when Mr. Fine said it would be. I would definitely use him again.

They did an excellant job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fine Painting was the more expensive of the three painters that I quoted, but by far they were the most professional in their appearance, comunication and ultimately quality. The job was done in less than two days (2300 sq. ft. house two story) and they moved all the funrinture, masked and coverede everything very carefully and completed the work with as little interference as I could have expected. I work at home so I was present during the entire project. I can say they were prompt and efficient and asnswed all my questions and concerns promptly. I also liked their a double inspection process that was done after each room was completed and any errors were fixed promptly. I would reccomend them for any painting project.

Two painters arrived promptly at 8am as scheduled. They did an excellent job of protecting our home from their paint. The entire path from the exterior door to the bedroom was covered so there was no possibility of tracking paint through the house. They spent some time patching and sanding the walls as I asked. They primed and painted one coat on the walls. They painted the closet, including the ceiling, which I had not thought to mention. Then they painted the second coat on the walls. It is beautiful!

Came out on 4 separate occasions. First 2 were for drywall repair, were only able to fix part of things in coupon time allowance, so bought another for drywall repair. They did a very good job, especially Gerald, very nice and thorough. They did send 2 guys for 2 hours instead of 1 guy for 4 hours, that worked out fine. For painting I ordered 2 coupons so I got 8 hours for $300, which was a good deal. The guy they sent would only work for 6hours, only painted one ceiling and did paint match part of another where the drywall had been repaired. Had a very negative personality, slow working with a very poor work ethic. Stated he was fine working 6 hours and that the hall would take 8 so I needed to contract for more hours with company. When informed that I would be finishing whatever he didn't stated that they would probably do it for a deal of $250. After he left I called company and complained, they quickly remedied situation by sending someone else a couple of days later for 4 hours. He (Gerald again) was wonderful, he accomplished a lot. He was also very professional and pleasant. Overall I was very happy with the work performed
